Chapter 1 Flame Awakening

On an ordinary day in a peaceful town known as Namimori, alone in a particular playground behind a preschool in the town, was a smiling boy around 6 years old with bright Auburn hair. And if you take a look at his sharp, bright orange eyes, you could see a shine from a person who had a strong will. (A/N: Basically a child version of Tsuna in his Hyper Dying will mode, without the head flames.").

The boy had the looks of someone that would become a fighter or a delinquent due to his sharp eyes, which caused the young boy to be isolated, away from most of the other children, playing in the playground despite the actual nature of the Auburn-haired boy which was a timid, crybaby attitude when some of the kid bullied him's his age. Having a constant calm face was very contrasting to his actual personality. However, even though the child was isolated and avoided by most of the other children in the playground, the child still played happily with the toys gifted to him by his father and mother.

However, as the child was playing with his toys that seemed to play toys like toy guns, a little fedora as well as some other toys that made it look more than the boy was someone either scary for the other children's to play around with or just someone that was really weird. Someone suddenly came close to the kid, a child seemingly near the auburn-haired boy's age, although having a larger and chubbier physique, which could mean that the kid was fat and stronger physically auburn-haired boy's slim and average physique for a six-year-old.

[Fat Kid]" Hey weirdo, what you got here eh..., Oh what's this your playing with, let me take a look at that."

When the Fat kid who had just approached the auburn-haired boy while looking like someone that has the classic childhood bully archetype looks to him When the Fat kid saw one of the toys that the auburn-haired boy was playing with earlier, he smirked as he took that specific toy from the Auburn-haired boy's hand forcefully, as he uttered those earlier words.

The toy/item that the Auburn-haired boy was holding was a silver laced pendant with a weird orb embedded in the middle, that a symbol of a crown, that the Auburn-haired didn't know the meaning of, but still kept it close to himself as it was one of the few gifts that he had obtained from his father which even in his young age, the Auburn-haired boy realized to be an incompetent yet caring father, due to him noticing how despite his father was mostly away overseas living him and his mother to live alone, base on the weekly letters, along with text messages that he sometimes sees his mother received from his father, due to him seeing his mother being excited as she read those texts, the same way as she acted around when his father was home.

As the Auburn-haired realized that the pendant he was looking at was suddenly taken away from himself, instead of acting like a child who would have cried about why the fat kid took his things, or even get angry at the fat kid, with his sharp orange eyes, he instead just calmly said to the fat kid.

[Auburn-haired boy] "Can you please give that back to me? It's something important to me."

[Fat Kid]" Huh.. who do you think you are no-good Tsuna to tell me what to do, and besides you have nothing else that could make me even respect, you crybaby, aside from your looks that everyone thinks that is somehow intimidating, which I say is baloney."

[Auburn-Haired Boy]" My name is not No-good Tsuna. My name is Tsunayoshi Sawada."

[Fat Kid]" What don't you play smart with me, And I don't care what your real name is No-good-Tsuna. Anyways no, I won't give this back to you, and what is thing anyways, is this some chain or something looks pretty shiny and cool though, something that isn't fit for someone like you crybaby."

The auburn-haired boy, who is now known as No-good Tsuna, is probably a nickname given to him by the "Fat Kid." as an insult towards Tsunayoshi or Tsuna for short. When he heard the Fat Kid's words, the boy is known as Tsuna, who was known to be a crybaby and a timid kid despite his cool and calm-looking appearance. Yet, despite those characteristics, the boy, with his strong will and determination at certain times, refused the Fat Kid's words and talked back to him with his sharp orange eyes.

[Tsuna] "No, I won't let you take that away from me. That's the only thing he had given me all this time."

When the Fat Kid saw the class loser/ crybaby, Tsuna had actually talked back to him, unlike the other times before, when he saw that Despite Tsuna's calm and sharp look, he always gave in to him the other bullies in the class various demands. Although he was already quite used to the intimating eyes of the crybaby Tsuna, The Fat Kid was surprised to feel actually intimidated for real, from Tsuna's look like now, which although it looks the same as before, he somehow felt an aura oozing from Tsuna's eyes than made him think that Tsuna for once, wasn't such a loser as he thought he was.

[Fat Kid] "Ohh.. you're actually standing up for yourself now, huh No-good Tsuna, quite a feat for someone who cries just because his toys before were taken... Well, what changed, loser, But your effort doesn't matter; since you think this piece of metal is so important to you, then I'd never give it back, loser, you can't get it back anyway, weakling."

When Tsuna had heard those words from the Fat Kid, unknowingly, Tsuna suddenly felt something weird originating from the core of his body; this weird feeling started to fill up in every part of his body. And without knowing what was happening to his own body, Tsuna's instinct and will started to take over himself as, without alert, Tsuna who had a calm face since earlier, instantly became enraged, as he sent over a seemingly powerful punch for six years old towards the Fat Kid's face. However, at that moment, no one noticed something in Tsuna's forehead exactly due to its size in the middle of Tsuna's forehead was a soft flame.

[Tsuna's Father Pov]

As I finished receiving my suitcase and other items that I had brought back from Italy in the baggage claim area of the Airport, while working on an investigation for the Vongola Family, as the head of the side organization CEDEF. As I was walking out of the airport to get a ride back home, I thought of various things.

[Tsuna's Father] "Finally, after months of working on that case, we were finally able to rap up that case, concerning that double-crossing, subordinate mafia Family that was leaking sensitive information to Irregolare Famiglia. But aside from that, there suspicious events littered in that base, although we can't pinpoint is indeed their work or is just a facade planted."

After being silent for a while, Tsuna's Father, Iemitsu, the Leader of Cedef, which was a side-branch of Vongola, decided to think of work-related problems later as he now started to think of.

[Iemitsu] 'Nah, let's think of this later, I finally had the chance to go back home after a long while, so I can finally meet my beloved Nana again as well as seeing, that little kid of mine, Tsunayoshi, while giving him the gift he asked me for, although I still think weird that the Kid had that much interest in stories, in Mafia, for his own good, even if he wanted to join a mafia, which I doubt it, his timidness is really not cut out for it as well as his kindness which at one point, any mafia member should lay down since we are in that type of work after all.'

As I had thought of my wife and kid that I was about to meet once again, I suddenly see that my phone was suddenly ringing, the ringtone that was unique for my beloved, so After I entered the cab that I had just called while packing all my stuff, I quickly answer her call.

[Iemitsu] 'Oh... Mama, did you miss me already? We just talked earlier, anyways I already had gotten off the plane earlier, and I already got into the Cab. Can you tell Tsuna that I'm about to arrive at the house a few minutes from now?'

After saying those words, Iemitsu then heard his wife Nana saying that Tsuna had actually gotten into some trouble at the school and had actually beaten up another kid there. And after that, It seems that Nana was called in to come to the school to discuss what happened, but due to Nana being busy at the moment, she couldn't go herself, so after remembering that Iemitsu was coming home today, she just contacted him, to go to Tsuna's preschool instead to sort the problem.

After Iemitsu heard the trouble that his son caused in preschool, he sighed as he didn't expect his kind and the timid boy actually to start a fight in school himself, so after agreeing to pick up Tsuna from Preschool and saying goodbye to Nana, Iemitsu changed the destination, for the cab as he headed to Tsuna's Preschool.

[Namisuke Preschool]

After a few minutes in the Cab, Iemitsu finally arrived at his son's school with all his luggage. According to Nana, the school guards where the guidance office was, the Fat Kid and Tsuna were sent. Iemitsu then arrived in the Guidance room; once he entered, he saw that his kid Tsuna was sitting on one of the chairs inside the room, while the other kid, which he thought to be the kid that his son beat up, was on the completely another side of the room.

After seeing his son's face, Iemitsu saw that something weird must have happened to why Tsuna had suddenly attacked the Fat Kid, so after speaking with the guidance counselor who had told Iemitsu the events leading to Tsuna beating up the kid according to the caretaker, watching over the kids earlier in the playground, as well as the event after which was, according to the guidance counselor, a pretty one-sided beat down, from Tsuna.

[Guidance Counselor] " Mr. Sawada, although the caretaker at the time tried to make Tsuna stop beating the other student her according to the caretaker due to some weird reason, like the Caretaker saying that once he touched Tsunayoshi's back, he then felt that a large amount of heat was emanating from Tsunayoshi's body as well as seeing a so-called flame from his forehead. But it may just be only a hallucination from the caretaker's tiredness for taking care of the students, which you could understand to be very stressful."

When Iemitsu heard this, he suddenly became deeply surprised inside as he thought of what the counselor just said.

[Iemitsu] ' Wait, did it actually happen? How could this be? Tsuna is still six years old right now, and even the most talented people from the Familia don't even awaken their talent in using dying will flames until they are at least 8 to 10 years old. So how could it possible that my son, who doesn't even like fighting and a crybaby most of the time, to be able to awaken his own flames this early. And although I don't know what type of flame is it yet due to the vague description of that Caretaker, it still an incredible foot already... But should I really involve him in this world... No, even though Tsuna here has a great talent, but I and probably Nana as well want Tsuna to live a normal life, so... Dammit, I didn't expect to face this problem just after I go back from work.'

So after contemplating in his mind about what he realized from the Guidance Counselor's words, Iemitsu decided to talk to Nana later and talk whenever to ask someone, to seal his son's flames for him to live an ordinary life or to join and develop his flames, and join in the mafia world into the future.

[Guidance Counselor] "So overall, even though your son Tsunayoshi, ha beaten up a fellow student in the school since it is his first offense, he shall only be suspended for the school for a short while as well as you needing to pay the student's medical fees, that resulted from your son's beating, and as we contacted the child's household earlier, it seems that they are fine with that arrangement as well."

So after Iemitsu heard the guidance counselor's words, he then agreed to that proposal as well as making an apology for causing trouble for the school, as well as making Tsuna apologize to the Fat Kid, who seemed to have been slightly traumatized due to Tsuna's beating, so after a few words and so fort, Tsuna was finally allowed to leave, the school along with Iemitsu.

After a short while of walking, Iemitsu finally said to Tsuna."So kiddo, what happened there that caused you to lash out at that classmate of yours, I know you're a good kid, and I know you aren't the type to beat up someone just of something so petty; I know that. You're better than that."

And as he saw Tsuna still being regretful about what he did earlier based on his facial expression, which can still be realized despite his son's constant calm face, which was contrasting to his son's emotions most times. And after a while, he then heard Tsuna say something which he was surprised to hear.

[Tsuna] "I didn't know what happened, Dad, it just that when that guy took the necklace you gave me, I became angry, and when I did, I felt something flow through my body, and due to my own instinct or rage at the time, I couldn't control myself and punched him."

After this description from his son, after a while, Iemitsu realized that his theory earlier was correct, and it was that in the young age of six his son, indeed, was able to awaken his own dying will flames.
