Arya heard the sound of the glass crashing on the ground. Through the transparent door which demarcated her office from mi rue's she saw Jin Lan standing mouth agape staring at Mi Rue. ' boys they do it for the drama' she thought then continued her work.
*** (At Mi Rue's office)
"dude first day and you've kissed her what will happen before this week runs out. Will you bed her?" Jin Lan asked shouting and another paperweight was thrown at him "damn you bro how could you still throw me that damn paper weight I believe I remember saying I'm tender but I'm not wrong you have to be tough wait why hasn't she spoken to you about it and how dare she still apply to be your secretary" Jin Lan the curious soul asked "i don't even know how but she was in a coma and when she woke up she didn't remember me or anything that had to do with me" mi rue explained "what!! coma why" Jin Lan asked "i don't know she said she isn't telling me any more" mi rue said soberly "wait who told you all this" Jin Lan inquired "her best friend Zhou Sheila we all used to be best friends but…" "yeah yeah I know you're sad life began you've told me before but wait did you say Zhou Sheila as in the only daughter of Liam Zhou the heiress of Zhou dynasty" Jin Lan screeched but Mi Rue sensed he was more relieved than shocked not knowing why mi rue decided to ignore him and focus on his own problems.
" dude can you give me her number" Jin Lan begged "you know I really do not care about your life but be careful since they were young these two girls are very dangerous they are skilled in any type of martial arts so if you think she's gonna be your next catch I'll be waiting for your funeral" mi rue explained "bro I've been thinking about her since that night she was the one who made me not to have been with another girl ever since" Jin Lan sighed helplessly "wait she's the girl you had… " "yes" Jin Lan interrupted immediately
"oh you are done for that girl is almost as heartless as Arya hah guess I'm not the only person done for I'm supposed to be mad at her but I'm being soft and you had a one night stand with a girl that has totally forgotten you" mi rue said with a smug look on his face. "you…" Jin Lan was about to retort when Arya knocked, quickly changing their auras and putting on their professional look mi rue replied in the most cold voice he could come up with"come in" Jin Lan rolled his eyes and muttered "softie" which mi rue answered back with a death glare facing Arya who then talked "i'm done sir" "what!!!" both men shouted totally flabbergasted.
