The Unknown

In the air and ready to strike, Connor held his bo staff then winds back to release his attack. He swung his bo staff then shouted, "Blizzard's slash," then suddenly, some sort of chilled breeze escaped from Connor's bo staff heading towards Pyro,

"This is disappointing, do you really think that will harm me," said Pyro.

Then this unknown breeze solidifies into tinny pieces of ice blades with some sort of white mist disguising them for some sort of diversion. Pyro stood there with the ice blades heading towards him and he did not seem threatened by it.

As the ice blades make contact with Pyro skin, they do not penetrate rather they shattered into pieces. If this attack were to be launched at any normal opponent, the blades would have pierced their vital organs.

"This is not what I expected from Leonard Smith's son.....upon all the people who have ice-related abilities, your father is known as the master of ice in our generation," said Pyro.

"Wait!... Connor is that true?" asked Ken.

"Yes, it is...," Connor responded.

"Wait a minute, I have heard that name before.....oh now I remember...Leonard Smith is the name of my father's friend that he travels with," Ken whispered to himself.

"But the unusual thing is that you do not use your father's ice techniques.... but rather you have created your own techniques but those techniques do not possess true strength. They are just flashy," said Pyro.

Ethan held his sword up then takes his fighting stance and charges toward Pyro, "For someone who thinks he is truly strong, you sure do talk a lot," said Ethan. He jumps into the air and just like before he transferred a lot of zen energy into his sword then applies his ability my tripling the gravity of his Kanata. He shouts out, "Gravity wave transmission," then swung his sword at Pyro. But then, Pyro stops Ethan's attack just by using his palm of his left hand to block Ethan's blade.

They were all in shock with this outcome then Pyro uses the backhand of his right hand to slap Ethan. Ethan was blown away which lead to him hitting his head on the wall in the room then he lost consciousness.

"ETHAN!!!," shouted both Ken and Connor.

At that very moment, it was like all the hatred that Connor had built towards Pyro was released and Connor developed some sort of rage power up. It seemed that seeing Ethan get beaten was the trigger to this power. In this power up state, Connor's body was outlined with some sort of blue energy field. Connor jumps into the air again then with his bo staff charges toward Pyro for close combat. Pyro accepted his challenge and decided to fight him head-on.

"This whole time I haven't used my ability because I feel it is not necessary but for you, I will at least show you a little respect and use a weapon," said Pyro with a smirk on his face.

Pyro stretched his hand forward then gathered some zen energy into his palm then suddenly a bright ball of light formed in his palm. This ball of light stretched horizontally forming a weapon that resembled a sword made of zen energy. Their weapons clashed and it seemed as if Pyro had an advantage in strength over Connor. Swing after swing, clash after clash, they both fought with their lives and pride on the line. After some time, Pyro finally landed a fatal hit on Connor's chest, blood spluttered on the floor then Connor fell to his knees. Now Connor was on the floor with his hands on his chest, baring the immense pain and was bleeding out. Then Rachel shouts out, "BROTHER!!!... PLEASE GET UP!!,"

With all that, Ken stood there in front of Pyro,

"You could have left unharmed but it seems you guys have a death wish....," said Pyro.

"Why are you doing this ?" asked Ken.

"You see Connor's sister has something unique about her ice ability that is different from the rest of her family members. She has the "Entity ice," ability which is passed from generation to generation. With this, when she makes ice, her ice resembles crystals or even diamonds. I plan to use her ice ability to create the most realistic fake jewellery and sell them at unimaginable prices," said Pyro with a smile on his face.

Ken got angry after what Pyro said, then responded, "How could you say such things with a smile on your face... She is human like all of us.... she not your slave, nor your tool to use... people like you sicken me," Then Ken looked towards Rachel(Connor's sister) and said, "Don't worry about your brother he will make it and we will rescue you,"

Then Ken runs towards Pyro holding his fist up preparing to attack. Pyro noticed that Ken wanted a fistfight so he discarded his sword made of zen energy and then stood there preparing for Ken.

Ken shouts out, "Mist punch," and this attack had a lot of zen energy behind it. Ken throws his fist at Pyro and immediately after Pyro saw this attack, he felt weird,

"Why am I shivering?... At his level, he shouldn't be able to even scratch my skin... Then also, his ability is something I haven't seen before," Pyro whispered to himself.

Pyro decided to counter Ken's punch with his special punch called, "Beam punch," and this attack allows Pyro have his fists embedded with zen energy.

But then just seconds before having contact, something weird happened, Ken out of nowhere became faster than his previous state and was able to land his attack. With direct contact with Pyro's chin, Ken was able to knock Pyro down to the ground.

"Wait what was that just now?... I have to be careful with this one," Pyro whispered to himself in shock. Pyro got up and looked at Ken and noticed something, this time Ken looked different, Ken looked serious and he had some sort of determination in his eyes. After witnessing this, Pyro decided to take Ken seriously then Pyro stood in a weird stance and began screaming. Ken was confused with what was happening then suddenly some sort of red light outlined Pyro's body and Ken could feel that Pyro's zen energy was increasing at a drastic rate.

"Now you will feel my true power...," said Pyro confidently.

Then Pyro charges toward Ken and this time, Pyro was faster than Ken even in his state. Pyro landed a punch on Ken's cheek even before Ken could react. Pyro landed at least twenty(20) punches on Ken's face with twelve(12) body blows all within seconds without even giving Ken a chance to fight back.

After receiving all those punches Ken stood there unable to move then suddenly he coughs up blood. Then he felt all the pains from the punches all at once and falls to the ground screaming in pain.

"Is that all you have to offer... how disappointing... I thought this was going to be fun," said Pyro in a condescending manner.

Then Ken suddenly stopped screaming, then Pyro went close to his body to see if Ken is still breathing then he noticed that Ken was unconscious.

"So it seems you are weaker than I thought... Just after my attack you have fainted from the pain,... that's just disgraceful," said Pyro.

With the little energy Connor had, he crawled towards Ken shouting, "KEN!!!, KEN!!!, GET UP!!!, WE HAVE TO DEFEAT HIM," Then suddenly something weird happens, black mist began to come out from Ken's body and this black mist was coming out at a fast rate, as if it was escaping from Ken's body. Then the black mist began to carry Ken's body into the air.

"What the hell is happening?" Connor whispered to himself.

Then Pyro felt something dangerous approaching, then his body began to shiver again leaving him in shock. Still suspended in the air, Ken's hair began to change color from black to white with his eyes still closed. Ken's zen energy suddenly increases drastically then Pyro shouts out, "FINALLY... NOW THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR... LETS FINISH THIS!!!!"
