Chapter 2 The Library and bookstore conversation.

With a deep sigh he got out of the house and closed the door behind him,the usual cold expression already back and plastered on his face,his destination the local community college library where he usually works part-time as he's still a student in college at Biltmore which was relatively close to his house hence his choice to just live there.

There was a slight breeze as it was still a bit early in the morning and with it been on a weekend there was not many people on the streets going to work .He walked all the way to the library meeting a few homeless people and stray dogs who didn't bother him at all as he usually portrayed a cold aura around him whenever his little sister was not around .Also clad in his black hood and casual pants and sneakers he looked nothing like someone who would part with some spare change .

Once inside the library he entered the staff room and changed int his work uniform that generally comprised of a black striped shirt with big writing on the back that said brainy library (quite a corny name for some generational library)and since he had black pants he didn't have to switch them.He then went on ahead minor clean the place out of habit since the place was usually cleaned before closure." Hello Cliff ,I see you're as early as usual and looking good too,"said a voice behind him which without looking he already knew it was Ella the daughter of the owner of the library Mr Chen.With a slight nod of the head he continued with his duties which Ella didn't mind as she was quite used to his cold nature.

Once done cleaning he was done,he stored the equipments and proceeded on to the front counter and desk as he waited to start his usual boring weekends ."Ooh and I hope you remember next weekend is my girlfriend's cousin 17th you promised to come with me so that my parents will allow me to attend,"said Ella to Cliff as soon he was seated .Ella's parents Mr and Mrs Chen were old school parents of descent who believed in a more strict parenting method.They also were not aware that their teenage daughter was a lesbian who had a girlfriend and Ella usually used Cliff as her shield to prevent her parents from knowing she dated girls.

Cliff who was usually aloof and cold to everything had a slight angry change on his expression that quickly disappeared that Ella didn't even notice.As she continued talking "Please help me convince them to allow me attend the party it'll be the greatest of our highschool final year and plus you can also attend since you left highschool just a year ago and you still look like a high schooler, no offense,and also they'll allow me stay late if you're there and they won't suspect anything about Ava whom they think has a crush on you as a reason for her daily appearance at our library and bookstore,"continued Ella in her rant who had not even noticed that Cliff who had stopped listening had a slight frown on his face .

"Hey mahn are you still listening,"Ella suddenly asked when she noticed the the deep frown on Cliffs face ."Okay I'll help you convince your parents to let you go ,but I have a condition that you'll let me also come with someone else to the party."said Cliff to the suprised Ella who had her small mouth open in an O shape as not only was this the first time she heard him talk that much but also for his request since he was not a social guy she didn't think he would actually attend the party but just part ways with her after fooling her parents.
