"Wait.. my Main Eternal is used up" Kayden clenched his fist and tears was going to come from his face

After he was shouting and also crying a bit he eventually got tired

In a hall filled with 243 students there was a lot of chattering as you can image
"Kayden we're going to hunt today and finally awaken" Charles said
"I know I can't wait to see what skills I unlock when I awaken" Kayden replied lying through his teeth
It wasn't that Kayden didn't trust Charles it was more that Kayden had to do some research since this doesn't seemed to have happened to others or atleast it was not publicly announced
"We get to kill weaken Reisu" Leyla forcefully joined in
"Yah compared to Portal monsters Reisu allows you to start at a higher level when killed" Kayden added
Reisu and Portal monsters were almost the same but what makes them different is that when a gate or a dungeon break occurs portal monsters will leak out if the monsters survive a week on the outside their bodies will adapt and grow stronger and also gain the ability to gain support of eternal's. Of course Reisu will grant much more exp than its portal state and example would be a basic slime would give 10xp but a Reisu version would give 100xp. Conversion varies on the monster and so on
"Attention" Professor Balsy entered the hall with 5 other teachera behind him
"Hello I am SS Awaken Phil Geogra" a man with a completly disformed face filled with scars and no hair suddenly appeared beside Balsy and he was speaking to everyone using telepathy
"I have captured the early stages of Reisu. 20 to be exact. They will be for the top 20 students while the rest will have portal monsters captured by exploration teams"
After having heard the news that only the top 20 many students sighed but couldn't do anything about it

..... 7th rank Kayden Reinheld.... 12th Rank Leyla Astor.... 20th Charles Astor" the people that were called followed Phil
They were all put in a small room before they suddenly teleported to a colosseum as large as the roman ones
"Welcome to the guild Apex we are currently underground" Phil told every via telepathy
The entire colosseum was filled with 20 metal caves each containing a different type monster which was paralyzed and heavily injured
"Now go kill" Each student was teleported into a cage with a weapon that was written on their report that they used
Kayden was faced with a feather human looking creature that had red feathers across their arms and body
Kayden was holding a guandao that was a long stick around a metre long covered in red with streaks of gold while the blade was a quarter of a metre and the edge was curved a bit at the end the edge was colored in black
"Oh it's a harpy" he lift up his weapon prepared to strike
The monster noticed Kayden and charged at him using it's claw like hands
Without any chance for the harpy to react Kayden unleashed all his strength in a horizontal slash that decapitated the monster

"Upmh, lucky that was an injured monster that couldn't fly like they usually do"

A strong throbbing pain was felt as his body was strengthening due to large level up

Stats in this world could he improved by doing a certain action. Running for agility, physical exercise for strength, getting beat up for defense and in some cases some exercises would increase more than one stat.
As soon as he was finished he found himself teleported back to his original spot being able to see the others struggling to kill monsters while noticing Rank 2, 5, 9, 13 were already done
"Hey Kayden did you finish already or did you fail to kill the monster" a girl that was a bit on the short side approached Kayden, she had short orange red hair, beautiful sky blue on her right eye and violet on her left. This was the second rank Grace Tailor.
Kayden couldn't help but me entranced by her beauty similar to how he found Leyla attractive
"Of course I killed it and in one hit" he bragged since it was a good achievement that he should have been proud of
Shortly after everyone else finished up and Kayden met up with Charles and Leyla to discuss their obtained skills and what level they reached
