Lady And The Tramp

Legoshi spotted Kai ambling down the halls at Cherryton, keeping to the left of the winding painted pathway, Legoshi matched his speed and observed him as he checked the similar branches of the hallway for his class, he tried half heartedly to flag his attention with a cough or two, then awkwardly increased his pace,

"Kai! O-oh, sorry to intrude, just wanted to say hi is all!"

Kai looked like a switch had been turned on inside of him, two animals, now deep in superficial conversation. Though, something was lacking. A forgotten place, Ah!

"The date!"

blurted out Kai into the empty hallway he and Legoshi walked down, echoing slightly. Freedom to say these things in the middle hours of the day let them at ease to discus it, the two stood as they arranged where to go for their very second date.

Legoshi placed a pair of fingers on his chin as if to contemplate different locations he had already thought out ahead of time. Stalling. 'The new restaurant?' too cliche, 'Your favorite restaurant?' Not foolproof enough. Time was running out.

"There's a new one.." Damn. "I think it's down the west of the city, I-I think." Legoshi tried his best at one of his smiles he put half his heart into usually, maybe that the was the tell..

"Come on Legoshi, I can read you like like a book! I've picked out a place, it's fine, come along to class you silly wolf!"

The two stumbled across the the class they were supposed to attend.

Legoshi meant to ask why Kai's laugh the last day was as

Miguno-like as it was, but He must have forgotten. The pool of drool on the wooden desk grew into a mound its ripples cascading from his open mouth nocked to the side as he slept on his hand. Slowly at first, Kai poked at the inky corners of a white agape jaw, each poke sending dismissed pings of consciousness through the face, until one hit his eyebrows,

"H-hhEY! C-UT IT OUUT.." His eyes still closed and frown furrowed; legoshi gave little regard to the love pokes, while pretending he was disgruntled. Kai's hands became more eager in his attempt to irritate Legoshi in his little game. Brown fur collided with white and blue as Kai found an opening in the chest of Legoshi's shirt, right near the pocket. Swirls of mortification and relief swarmed his senses, Nose crumpled into his snout Legoshi feared to protest the downward strokes mid-lecture but eyes shot with embarrassment tainted Kai's little game. His adventurous five soldiers deep in enemy lines retreated as he made an attempt to shake the guilt from his small frame. A hand patted the shoulder nearest to his wolf friend, Legoshi had noticed no one had seen, seeming to relish in the rush he ruffled a clump of hair in Kai's head and beamed at him.

"Now, my turn! What ifff.. I kissed you in front of the class, no- no, even better; I sat you on my lap 'till the end of class! Revenge!" No one heard this of course, but Kai was now infinitely more mortified than Legoshi was before. The lecturer had take a break at his lectern like desk to sip on a cup of coffee, and Kai took Legoshi up on his non-serious offer. Stole a kiss.

Legoshi was already leant down in his comments to Kai when his sleepy face was embraced by a quick kiss,

It was happening before he knew it, his words smothered into a hum; as if he were reciting a sonnet under water. Though now Legoshi was under his spell. Protected by the slowing world the two interlocked and engaged in a greeting catalyzed by the morning lights illuminating the dust dancing between their eyes. A study into Kai's gaze swept Legoshi into a trance. Yellow flares of sun ignited the fibers of blue dawn and fireworks flew amidst spars of the dueling morning stars. Kai's fingers didn't even flinch at the scars he felt himself grasping as an anchor. Perfection stood out in the rain dowsed by bittersweet birdsong as the drowsy kiss took up the whole of the world. Kai blushed furiously and Legoshi caught his breath and the two listened intently to their synced heartbeats.
