Chapter 1: Sudden Invasion

I used to be a normal human, in my previous life. I was a streamer and a gamer. Not that popular but enough to be recognize by some.

I was summoned in another world, becoming a hero and saving the world from the evil god that is harboring chaos in the fantasy world... In exchange for my life ofcourse.

Then i got reincarnated in another world again, in the same planet as my first life. Earth.

This world is almost exactly the same as my world, except that theres some city, brands and businesses that i only see in books and movies.

Especially some vigilante and bunch of superhero, a man in a batsuit who roams the dark of the night and saving lives. Then theres also that superman, green lantern and flash. All from different places.

Just one of these character can already point out i'm inside the DC verse. Though theres those characters and yet somehow Justice League doesn't exist here. So i guessed the original team hasn't assembled yet.

I don't hear any news about cyborg just yet, wonder woman exist but i barely hear anything from tje news regarding about her.

I live in metropolis right where superman is, or clark kent. Altough i know their human identities. My knowledge about them is limited with their power only. Beyond that i don't have any knowledge about other stuff because i don't watch that much DC or Marvel show, no matter how great they are in news or in the internet.

Theres barely any crime here in metropolis which is good. All i do is laze around and earns enough for daily basis.

After being a hero for so long, i thought to live a normal life. I started to being lazier than a cat who spends most of it's time sleeping.

But that all changes when a sudden invasion occured. Demons started appearing in a large number abducting humans. Theyre called Parademons if i remember correctly.

And here i thought i could keep lowkey profile. Before... i could probably destroy planets and stars in my prime. Or in my previous life as a hero, i think i can even blow an entire galaxy with full power.

But sadly reincarnation takes everything. Making me start on the get go, it's like ressetting an account in game.

I am currently in an arcade, smashing the buttons in a game. I was enjoying my time when suddenly.

A part of the building collapses, then multiple parademon filled the inside of the building.

All of them grabbing atleast 1 or 2 humans before flying away.

It was a full panick, everyone was afraid and running for their lives.

I got on guard, when suddenly one of them grabs me trying to take me too.

"Get your filthy hands off me"

With a wave of my hand, the demon freezed solid from my magic. I crushed the hand holding me and pushing it down, breaking on impact like a fragile glass.

"Where is superman?" I muttered

He's the one keeping the city in check, preventing chaos and crimes. Then whats this?

The other present parademons rushes to me. And before they could come close. Gravity pinned them down, all of them altogether.

Lightning courses through my hand, with a gun sign and a bam.

Lightning shot through the point of my finger, killing the parademons on the ground.

I stepped outside, in a matter of seconds. The city was already in smoke.

Oh right, how can i forgot that.

Parademons is darkseid minion. This explains it, one man can't possibly clean all this out. Anyhow i should do something about those captured people.

"I'm real glad i am a hoodie person" i covered half of my face with a towel, before getting into action.

If this was the previous me, i could solve all this problem in an instant, but the me now doesn't have that kind of power.

Magic Arts: Lightning Deviant

My entire body is covered with lightning, i flew faster than sound, towards the parademons in the sky. Killing them and bringing down the captured people to safety.

All of them shaking from fear, but was glad at the same time. Then i ran and kills every single parademon in the vicinity, making a small safe shelter for people who couldn't get away.

After making sure that they wont be in any danger.

I released my magic and made a dome of barrier that would pass a selected species inside.

"Stay inside and don't come out until the threat is gone" I told them before leaving

Lifting myself up in the air to get a better view, finding the main center of the disaster.

I found where the parademons were coming from, above the sea and unfortuantely right here in metropolis, there seems to be somekind of portal like gate where those things are coming from.

Bright red laser being shot at the parademons which i guesses as supermans doing. Followed by some glowing green structure that crushes the parademons to death. This power shpuld belong to green lantern.

Then suddenly erupted from the sea a giant ship, a shark jumping from the air. Devouring the parademons that reaches it's mouth

Helicopters shooting at the parademons as they get hunted back up in the air.

I flew towards them.

Magic Arts: Wind Blade

With every wave of my hand came a blade shaped compressed air, flying at an insane speed, cutting all the parademons on it's way.

I chased the damaged falling choppers, safely dropping them down before going back into the battlefield.

"Sergeant, we got a new character here"

"Fill me in with the details later, right now we need you guys out there. Regroup with captain trevor's team and let the super people fight the monsters"

"Roger"

Magic Arts: Lightning Chain

A streak of lightning hits the parademons as the lightning passes to other parademons, charring them black.

"What the hell?" Green lantern spoke, shocked and in awe by the lightning prowess that almost annahilated every parademons nearby.

Another wave of parademons came, all of them rushing at their death.

I landed infront of them, joining the brawl.

Magic Arts: Physical Enchancement

My physical strenght increases drastically, only sligjtly weaker than wonder woman, but still delivers enough power to effortlessly crush the parademons like bugs.

"Who's the new guy" Green lantern ask batman in the middle of a fight. Not recognizing the new character on scene. Especially with a hoodie and a towel covering their face.

Batman just shruggs, implying that he also doesn't have an idea who the person is, earning a click to the toungue from green lantern.

"Can we worry about the other players identity later Hal? Right now is not really a good time" Flash said as the wave of parademons increases.

A bach of the military helicopters came, shooting down at everything and us. It was annoying and disorienting, i get it that their afraid but really? Were literally saving their asses from this invasion.

"We have to shut them down" Superman says. As the bullets just bounces off his durable body.

"Shut them down? They're U.S soldiers Superman" Flash reasoned.

"They are men who are shooting us"

"Their only doing their job superman"

"You seemed like someone who wants to do the right thing. But the same can't always be said to everyone in positions of authority" Superman said as he flew towards the helicopters. Destroying the spinning blade/rotor blade that keeps them afloat mid air.

Another bach of military choppers and parademons are coming, flash took superman advise and helps on getting the 3rd party out.

"Man, the army is gonna be so mad at me"

"We need to get those men out of the helicopter and somewhere safe" Wonder woman

Hearing this green lantern perked up, answering her call as the power of his ring should be perfect to carrying the army out, and to show off.

"I'll get them.out of the chopper and to safety. Not to be a good guy like the flash, but because i want to impress you. Most of what i do is about trying to impress people" Green lantern blurted out, realizing his thought leaked out of his mouth "No, i... What i just- "

"What?" Batman surprised by Green lantern choice of word.

"You were touching my lasso" Wonder woman.

"So what?" Said green lantern confuse

"It makes you tell the truth" Wonder woman cleared, earning a chuckle from batman.

"This number is endless" I said looking at the new number of captive humans mid air.

Summoning Arts: Flame hawks

3 hawks summoned, their body covered in Flames, launching ay an insane speed as they pierced through the body of every parademons.

Tsk, this is draining. Allright, time to switch.

The old me would be able to summon hundred of thousand of Flame Hawk effortlessly. Now i can barely make 3 and use magic at the same time in a battle.

The body i was reincarnated into wasn't gifted, and the mana of this world is way to thin to use as a catalyst.

I already sensed some other people before with magic but i didn't made contact. And that my mana and their also varies differently from purity and systems.

My mana was complete foreign in this world.

I was able to sense them but i don't think they sensed me.

Hero Arts: Overdrive 10%

Energetic pulse coursed through me, i can feel the increase in power, physically and magically.

I decided i would use my magic sparringly one each time to reduce the consumption.

I flew towards the captive humans, but instead of using fly or wind magic, i lifted myself above using barrir like boarding a hover board.

Magic Arts: Fire Fist

My hand combusted into hot flame, just a light touch is enough to melt the parademons.

The captive humans fell, all of them screaming. Releasing my barrier in an instant as i fall straight to the water.

In an as i reach the same level of their fall, i pushed a atrong gush of wind to fly us towards metropolis.

Hovering them close to the walls before impact as i land them safely.

As soon as they landed, they run away.

While Superman and Flash are still busy with the helicopters. A small flash of light shone and faded slowly, from it came another round of parademons along with a cyborg human.

With a quick action. All monster was crushed, while as green lantern picked up the cyborg with a green giant hand.

"I got this one!!" Said green lantern about to crush the cyborg.

"Wait!, lanter it's not one of them!" Batman

"What are you talking about?" Confuse, but follows batmans word. Putting down the cyborg in hand.

The first to tend to the cyborg was aquaman, holding him by his arms "It's just a kid, wearing armor"

Another familliar face has appeared, Cyborg. The supposedly half human and half machine. This design made him look more like quarter full machine and paryially human, on the head.

The teen titan cyborg from the cartoon and animated show has more human parts.

"Who are you? Do you need help?" Wonderwoman ask in concern.

Cyborg turned his head around, murmuring something incomprehensible. As he clears and tunes his voice louder. Voicing a warning.

"They go, world to world... He's coming, right here" Said Cyborg.

"Who is?" Batman asks.

Then suddenly, a bright light flashed before our very eyes, some kind of portal or wormhole, patch in space as a giant entity came out, thrice the size of superman.

Grey thick rough skin and thick armor, glowing red eyes as he make an appearance like a games final boss.

"I'm guessing thats the boss" Green lantern says, clenching his fist tight.

"Good Guess" Batman

"Ghouuuu!!" The new figure released a loud battle cry, as the shockwave pushes away everything at the vicinity. Knocking everyone down as surprised strenght of shock. And the rubbles buring them under.

"I am, DARKSEID" After his introduction, came a pair of military jet, dropping a missile on darkseid.

"No stop!!" Flash just getting up notices, shouting, helplessly watching the jet going to their death.

And without notice a trace of red laser find it's way to the jet, along with their missiles going off before it could be release. Killing the pilots on board.

Or thats how suppose it should to go, as the smoke clears reveals the pilot covered in something like a transparent bartier protecting them from their death.

"Darkseid or whoever you are, i'm guessing your the one responsible for this mess... " I said as i hover above his figure.

"Thats a new face, who are you?" Darkseid asks.

"Your death" said in a cold voice
