Chapter 6: Getting a nickname.

After the road trip got over the next day I had to return the bike so I did that in morning itself, I reached campus by 8.00 Am and was waiting for Anamika to enter , but she didn't come even after 8.20 she didn't come after first day this was first time she was so late .

The lecture started and we where not allowed to use mobile phone's in between the lecture but I opened my phone and started to chat with Anamika,for this I should capture all my guts .

***Chat started***

Prem:"Where are you Anamika the lecture has already started".

Anamika:"Prem I am not feeling well today ,I guess because of yesterday's hetic trip I caught cold and fever".

Prem:"How are you feeling now , is everything ok ?".

Anamika:"Ok only but my grandma is not here , so I should all the work even though I have fever".

Prem:"Oh is it that's sad".

Anamika:" Ya I am going to take tablets and sleep now ".

Prem:" Ya ok ok you take rest ".

***Chat ended***

She is not feeling well and she is alone doing all the households , should I go there or not she is suffering alone ya I should go and take care of her , this time I will not let her suffer alone this time I will be there .

As soon as my lectures got over the time was 1.30 Pm and I didn't have my lunch and rushed to Anamika's house , I caught the bus and reached her home in 25 mins 1.55 Pm I reached her house and rang the bell ,she opened the door .

Anamika:"Prem what are you doing here ".

Prem :"Ya I came here to take care of you ".

Anamika:"Why did you come here , did you miss your lectures to come here ".

Prem:"No i didn't miss any lecture to come here , and I came here to take care of you so now coprate and let me in ".

Anamika:"You mad now come inside ".

Prem:"So did you had something or not".

Anamika:"No I didn't have anything ".

Prem:"Ahh wait I will get something for you ".

Anamika:"Don't need Prem I am ok ".

Prem:"You just keep quite ".

I went to the kitchen to see what can I prepare for her in less time , I saw Maggie packets so ya it was easy to prepare and it would take less time also , I chopped the vegetables and all and started to cook and in 10 minutes maggie was ready I surved it in a bowl and took it to Anamika.

Prem:"Come Anamika have this maggie and feel better ".

Anamika:"Prem I am not in a state to move".

Prem :"Wait let me check your temperature ".

Anamika:"ok".

I bought the thermometer and checked her temprature and it was 104 fever and this is a huge number.

Prem: "You have 104 fever".

Anamika:"Really I thought it would have reduced till now ".

Prem:"No it didn't, let me bring a wet cloth and keep it on your head so that atleast your temperature reduces a bit ".

Anamika:"No Prem it's ok I am fine ".

Prem:"You just keep quite ".

I went and brought the wet cloth and kept it on Anamika's head and even did a head massage, while I was doing this I even made her eat Maggie with my own hands , just the way you feed small babies I made her feed and even she was eating in a cute way. After she had Maggie I gave her tablets and made her asleep, but while she was sleeping she caught my hands I tried my best to remove my hands from her but was unable to do it .

I tried for more 10 minutes to remove my hand from her but was unable

to do so I didn't had any other option so I should just sit beside her and see her sleeping, to be honest even though she was not feeling well but when she was sleeping she was still looking beautiful.

After half an hour I don't know how but even I feel asleep,it was evening 6 and I was asleep beside Anamika and she was still holding my hands , I checked her temperature and this time it was normal,and she was looking fresh also I woke her up and she opened her eyes , her frizzy hairs ,and cute sleeping voice and her eyes meeting mine this was so cute and romantic but I said her get up you are now ok .

Your fever is reduced, but she was not getting up , and was still holding my hands, so I took my hand away and let her lay down in the bed only and went to the kitchen and made Tea for her and me I bought the Tea and me and she had the Tea now I saw her and she was feeling much better than before.

Prem:"How are you feeling now Anamika".

Anamika:"Feeling better and all thanks to you".

Prem:"It's ok i just did what a friend should do."

Anamika:"Ya but then also thanks ,you came all the way till here and did all this stuff and even took care of me ".

Prem :"You know na I said you I will not let you suffer alone or even let tears shed your eyes".

Anamika:"You dummy just shut up and have the Tea".

Prem:'Dummy what kind of nick name is this ".

Anamika:"This name is given by me to you dummy ".

Prem:"Aah is it ".

Anamika:"Ya dummy ".

This is how I got a nickname from Anamika and till now also she calls me dummy only .
