Chapter 4 ( relationship or friendship)

Rosa was wrong! Leo just wanted to feel loved and I was in a better position doing that for him. Our sudden detach made me realize that circumstances make people change. She had fallen in love with Leo and couldn't stand me being with him. It was obvious and threw a lot of gossips into people's lips. I could hear people throwing curses at me for choosing to dump my 9 years old friendship for a mere boy. Hateful words everyday at my desk, newspaper screaming my name, the school gram carrying the whole talk like we were some sort of family.

Brian didn't care more about the whole issue, he just wanted me to be strong and endure the pain. Leo and I were victims but he never left my side and I never did as well. The principal summoning me every blessed day and mom scolding me every single moment. Her absence made me realize a huge impact she had in my life, things went depressing.

One Wednesday afternoon, I was asked to call Leo at the court when I bumped into Rosa, I didn't want to miss this great opportunity. I stood in front of her spreading my two arms, moving sideways if she intended to do so.

"What do you want?" she finally asked after a long frown

"I want us back"

"Why? you can't stand the guilt? I thought you were some sort of strong flirtatious girl who cared less about anyone"

"Rosa!"

"Alison, you took what belonged to me, you betrayed me!"

"No! you couldn't fight for what you wanted! life ain't that easy, you can't get everything you want, you have to fight-"

"I never gotten anything I wanted" she cried out, " I want to be happy Alison! I want to relate to what makes you smile so cheerfully"

"You and I knew how much I fought to get Brian, dumping my pride, putting my reputation under my feet, yet you couldn't do same?"

"So what do you want me do?"

"Profess to him!"

"Alison?"

"What's wrong with you? I thought we were meant to have each other's back? why didn't you tell me you felt something odd for him? How childish to starting throwing tantrum and pointing accusing fingers at me. I had always wanted the best for you, Rosa."

"No! you've always wanted the best for you, that's why you've got Leo and Brian with you."

"How could you say such?"

"Stay away from me! I'm no more the naive girl you knew, I'm done playing the good part"

(chuckles)" The show ain't even started"

"Rosa, I'd get you everything you want, even if it means hurting someone, I'd do my best to prove my love for you"

(scoffs)" Being the good girl doesn't suit your personality, stay away from me"
