Chapter 1

BEEP BEEP BEEP....

I turned to my 5:30 am alarm and switched it off. My dog was already up and wagging it's tail.

I wanted to go to my parents room until i remembered that they had been missing for up to 6 months now. I found it hard to accept the fact that i might never see them again. Jake, my dog, sensed some sadness in me and whimpered as he came to me and put his head on my laps.

I had Jake for 5 years now. My dad bought it when i was 11, and Jake's always been there for me ever since.

I did my morning workouts of jogging to and fro in the streets of Wall street along Broadway of New York. Jake also tagged along, he was tough for an Irish terrier. His golden brown fur always remained bright and attractive. Enough descriptions of my dog, lemme go into my unpopular self.

My name's Riley and I was born in New York. My uncle has been sponsoring me ever since my parents disappeared.

I showered, ate my breakfast (shared with my dog too), then i headed out on my bike. After 15 minutes of riding, i finally arrived at my school.

I walked through the halls feeling like the crap i already was. I never had an actual friend and people that talk to me, all except for,

"Hey d**k head"

Damian, we weren't friends and the only reason he talks to me is because i'm easily intimidated by him. Like who wouldn't, he's like a 6 footer while still managing my 5'6. His very muscular, the proper stature for a rugby player. I was lost in thoughts that i didn't realize he was just two meters away from me.

"Didn't you hear me you punk, anyways, the history test answers i copied off you was a total A plus, better start studying for geometry because if i get anything lower than a B, your face's gonna be designed by my fists, YOU HEARD ME??!!"

"Yeah sure", I replied gritting my teeth in anger, then he walked past me then i unknowingly muttered the words,

"You @#%$!?!@#$?".

Everyone gasped in shock as Damian turned slowly and said in pure rage,

"WHAT THE F**K DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?!"
