Just a little payback

Xavian pulled out a weird clown costume from his bag on the locker room.

He had to make sure he would never be traceable, else, they'd take out their aggression on Bob.

Bob himself had left early with his two muscle headed students for some 'discussion' so he had a bit of time

Kane and Vane were boarding students, so after school, Xavian decided to sneak into the dormitories.

He had crawled under the short fence, scaled up the wall and jumped in through an open window, only to see Bob with a swollen eye leaving the building.

"Xavian?, What are you doing?"

Bob asked, it was weird to see Xavian

this late after school as he would usually be looking for some job or something.

Not to mention the fact that he came in through the window when there wasn't even a ladder outside.

Xavian knew he was a terrible liar as the first words that came to his head were stuff like;

'whoa!, How did I get here?'

or

'you didn't see me... it's all an illusion'

But he decided to come clean as Bob was his oldest and closest friend.

He puffed his chest, trying to look cool as he answered;

"I-I'm here to take out Kane and Vane"

Bob stared blankly at Xavian with his good eye for some time and almost screamed;

"ARE YOU CRAZY?!!!, you wanna take out the TOP students of Crimson high, all by yourself?"

The blonde teenager opened his mouth to reply, but quickly hid behind a nearby door as he could smell the scent of two hulking mass of muscles approaching.

"Shhh" he whispered to the cowering Bob.

"besides, look what they did to you, so I'd just call it payback"

Bob simply sighed, shook his head and smiled to himself;

'Xavian, I don't know if you're brave or stupid sometimes, but all in all, you're a good guy'

He made to leave, but unfortunately, Kane and Vane had arrived.

"Well, well, well..." Vane began, "looks like the nerd wants another black eye so his face would match"

The other sniggered while punching his palm;

"Don't worry nerd, we'll make sure it's extra painful"

Watching behind the door, Xavian could not take it.

After dying once, most things that would scare him did not spooked him so much anymore.

After all, nothing is scarier than your boss turning into a Bloodthirsty beast and attacking you, especially after getting your hopes up for other stuff as she had taken off her shirt first ... Anyway!

He managed to fit himself into his clown suit and leaped out.

The sun was beginning to set up he didn't have the little boost he usually would, but for Kane and Vane, he was really fast.

Sprinting as fast as he could from the door, he twisted his torso and hit Kane squarely in the chest, making the muscle giant fall to the floor.

"Who the F*ck are you?!!"

Kane shouted as he threw one of his own.

Despite being a muscle man, Kane was still nimble and agile, and his punch packed quite a ton.

Xavian could feel that something had broken as the punch hit him in his ribs

The System also seemed to think so as he received a new notification;

[You have suffered an injury to your ribcage]

[-1 Health]

It was the first time he had even gotten injured since the Brianne incident, luckily his Dhampir body was resilient enough for the punch to only remove one Health Point, but it still hurt though.

Kicking Vane in the chin, he made an awkward shoulder roll and sprinted to the roof area.

Being idiots, the duo had followed him to the roof and left their prey.

Staring fixedly at the point where Xavian had leaped from, he could see a shoe imprint on the cemented floor

"How did Xavian get so strong!"
