Jungle enchantment

Out in the wild How typical of a man to base his judgment of her solely on her looks! Clearly Kip Forsythe would have preferred that she wore khaki shorts, a bush shirt and the odd python draped around her neck. Natalie would show him she was quite capable of preparing for the arrival of an entire film crew at Africa's Kabala Dam. He didn't need to know--he wouldn't know--it was all part of an attempt to mend her broken heart. ***** 'I went to pick up a middle-aged lady in a battle dress with few cameras slung over her shoulder. What I've got is an exotic black and gold butterfly. Kip Forsythe, the man in charge of the Kambala dam project in Madembi, didn't pull his punches. But Natalie was determined to do her job well --- with or without the arrogant Mr. Forsythe co-operation. But she hadn't considered the rush of desire that threatened to consume her each time she thought of Kip. Will love come knocking at Natalie's door with an arrogant Forsythe to handle...will Natalie fall in love with Neil, Ray...or is there a third wheel...She hadn't considered she'd fall prey to his Jungle Enchantment!

Chapter 3

'Cheeky young devil!' Jonas West glared at a closed door. 'One day am going to really give him his marching orders.'

'And you'll never get such a talented cameraman again,' Natalie reminded him as she came to sit by his desk. 'You've got to admit, Dad, you lay it on thick. That's the third pep talk this week on that particular subject.'

'Necessary.' He beetled his thick brows at her and did a bit more glaring. 'Whose side are you on anyway?'

'I have to be neutral.' She laughed up at him, tossing back her black long hair. 'Being the daughter of the boss has certain disadvantages.'

'And certain advantages,' he reminded her with a keen look. 'Just one word from you and I'll get rid of Neil Bradshaw. I'll get rid of the girl too.'

Neither of them were smiling now, and Natalie looked away from the eyes that saw every expression that crossed her face.

'We've been over this, Dad. Everyone has a right to change of heart. With Neil it wasn't even that because we weren't engaged or anything like it. He simply fell in love with Paula, and who can blame him? She's a very nice girl. He told me straight out with no deceit whatever.'
