Prologue

The scene opens, dark, in a labour room. A woman, unidentified, is about to give birth to a baby. The doctors in the theatre compels her to put in her last strength to bring the baby to life. It was 12:00 am on the clock. The time ticks, it's the first day of June.

According to the tradition of the people of ijoko, the new born will be christened after her birth month.
