Joining the competition

Hannah and Jason were really ashamed of their thinking,just because Juliet passed didn't mean that she cheated.

The both of them didn't know how to have her.Juliet and Susan didn't know what Jason and Hannah were thinking,the both of them were just glad that the whole class now knows that they did not cheat.

When it was lunch time,both Hannah and Jason went to meet Juliet and Susan to apologize for thinking that the both of them cheated. Juliet and Susan forgave them and they soon began talking.

Soon the school time was over and it was time to go home. Juliet was about to go home when she remembered that the teacher said the principal needed her attention. She told Hannah to go home first while she went to the office.

When she got to the office,she saw the teacher and the principal sitted waiting for her. She greeted the both of them and sat down.

The principal didn't waste time and got down to business.

" Congratulations on being the first in your entire class,no one has ever been able to answer all the questions correctly without missing any one except you,you did and excellent job" said the principal.

Juliet wasn't shy at all, she immediately replied " thank you,it was because of my hard work".

Both the teacher and the principal laughed when she said this,they were nothing amazed at her boldness.

" Good good,this is exactly what we are looking for" said the principal.

" I am guessing that you didn't call me to your office just to congratulate me,is there anything else or can I just leave" said Juliet.

" No that is not all,you see there is an annual competition that this school partakes in,both every year we don't make it to the top three, but with you in the group I'm sure that we will make it to top three if not the first" said the principal.

Juliet sat down and thought about it,simce she didn't have much to do she decided to join.

The teacher and principal were both happy that she agreed.

" Great,the competition is after the new year celebration,you and ten other people would go to the center where the competition is been held for a week and you get to decide who you want to be in the team".said the principal.

" Ok,if that's all,I'll be leaving" said Juliet.

The teacher and the principal nodded and she left.

Juliet walked down the street looking at the decorations that were all round,the festive music playing and the children running around the street because if the exams Juliet had beenbtoo busy to notice that it was almost christmas.

Juliet remembered her christmas with her family,this was going to be her first christmas without her family,she started reminiscing about their traditions during christmas. Now her parents are dead and her siblings were no where to be find.

She didn't even have the slightest clue about where her siblings could be. Every clue she had ever gotten led her back to square one,thinking about this made juliet feel really sad.

She wanted to cry so bad but she didn't because she knew crying won't solve anything.She walked faster and arrived home.
