Clearing the rumor

Juliet felt that if she has told Hannah and Susan the truth all this wouldn't have happened but it was too late for regret.

She grabbed Jason's hand and went back upstairs,Jason didn't move and just allowed her to grab him. " You don't need to worry about the rumor, Susan and Hannah must have spread it,i am at fault at this, i will clear the rumor" explained Juliet hurriedly,if the rumor had been about her only she wouldn't have done anything about it but because this involved another person she wanted to clarify it.

Jason felt hurt at the fact that Juliet wanted to clear the rumors, he would be lying if he said he didn't feel anything for Juliet,he had wanted to confess his feelings to Juliet before but he was not sure if how she would react." No need to clarify it,they would probably talk about it for a while before moving to another topic".

" No, I have to clarify it" insisted Juliet. She left Jason and went to her room to look for Susan. When she got to her room she saw Susan reading,she walked up to her and snatched the book out of her hand before Susan could even react at all.

" Were you the one that spread the rumor" asked Juliet. Susan got scared because that was the first time she saw Juliet annoyed,she quickly stood up and replied " I did, but were you not the one who said you and Jason were dating". Juliet felt her headache, " did I say it with my mouth, when you asked me did I answer".

Juliet felt really angry, she didn't have time to worry about some rumors but because it involves someone else she decided to intervene. Susan could see Juliet's face darken by each passing second, She apologized quickly and asked for what she could do to which Juliet replied " You spread the news on the school forum right?, all you have to do is say you made a mistake and apologize".

Susan immediately took her phone out and typed what Juliet said, only after doing this did she feel relieved. The news spread on the forum quickly,while some of the students believed it others didn't. Juliet didn't care about it anymore as she went back to meet Jason.

Juliet went to meet Jason but for some reason she felt that Jason was unhappy, she thought he was sad because of the rumor, she walked up to him and said " you don't have to worry about the rumor, i already got Susan to clarify it",Jason didn't say anything and just nodded .

Just then the teacher called the students down and told them some important news, " because of the actions of some of the students,the school board has decided to end the trip,we are going back today". The students grumbled and complained but they went back to their various rooms to pack their bags,Juliet however didn't leave her spot,she felt that this whole trip was a waste,she didn't manage to get any information about the murderer.
