Cursed Building

*GLEEEAAAMMM

Yuji and Nobara's faces gleamed up with excitement.

"Let's go to Disneyland! Tokyo Disneyland!!" Nobara exclaimed getting close to Gojo.

"Idiot! Disneyland is technically in China prefecture! Let's go to Chinatown!" Yuji said as he hugged Gojo.

"Chinatown is in Yokohama!" Nobara argued.

"Well, Yokohama is in Tokyo, isn't it?!" Yuji argued back.

Azure went close to the three wanting to know more about Tokyo too.

"I shall now announce the destination," Gojo said.

"Rappongi," Gojo smiled.

'Roppong?' Azure thought.

*******

The four arrived at a creepy abandoned building.

"Yup, there's a curse,' Megumi said as he looked at the building that was oozing evil energy.

"Liar!!!" Yuji and Nobara yelled.

"Playing with us country folk!" Nobara complained.

"There's a cemetery as well as an abandoned building, that combination attracted a curse," Gojo said pointing at the building.

"So graves a hot spot for curses?" Azure asked.

"It's not necessarily cemeteries themselves. The fear that humans have toward cemeteries is the problem," Megumi answered Azure.

"Right. The school was also like that..." Yuji remembered.

"Hold on, they don't even know that?" Nobara asked.

"Well..."

*****

"He swallowed a special grade cursed object...!" Nobara exclaimed.

"Gross! I can't believe it! soooo unsanitary!" she yelled.

"Wha?!" Yuji said.

"Im with her," Megumi agreed.

"Then what about you Azure," Nobara asked.

"Uh... the disaster class curse went into my body..."

"What?!!" Nobara exclaimed.

"I know what you guys are capable of. Think of it as a field test," Gojo said.

"Nobara, Azure, the two of you go in that building and expel any curse," Gojo told the two.

"But... I don't know any jujutsu spells or anything like that..." Azure said nervously.

"You've got cursed energy flowing through you. Controlling that energy isn't as easy though. Here, use this," Gojo said

He took out a long scabbard handing it to Azure.

Azure took the sword out, looking at it in awe as it emitted a shadowy Aura.

"The sword is known as Umbra," Gojo said.

the sword is a formidable weapon forged from cursed obsidian metal, with a long, slightly curved blade that absorbs light, giving it an ominous, shadowy appearance. The blade, etched with intricate, glowing purple runes, is nearly indestructible, cutting through both physical and spiritual entities. The hilt, wrapped in shifting black and purple leather, offers a secure grip, while the minimalist crossguard and spherical pommel, engraved with symbols of Kuro, enhance its dark elegance. The scabbard, sleek and light-absorbing, mirrors the sword's design, seamlessly housing the blade.

"When drawn, the sword emits a shadowy aura that intensifies when you channel your cursed energy, allowing the blade to extend with pure darkness," Gojo explained.

"It's also infused with cursed energy right now, so it'll work against curses, but once you learn how to use yours it will go away," Gojo said.

"Ah, Yuji, don't let Sukuna out, got it? If you use that, you'd wipe out any curse in an instant, but... The same thing would happen to any humans in the vicinity," Gojo told Yuji.

"What about Kuro?" Azure asked.

"Kuro should be fine since he isn't trying to destroy everything in its path."

Azure nodded his head and then followed Nobara and Yuji into the building with his new sword.

"Let me go too," Megumi told Gojo.

"You're still recovering."

"But we need to keep an eye on Yuji and Azure, right?"

"Yeah, but... we're putting Nobara to the test this time," Gojo said.

Azure, Nobara, and Yuji walked through the building going up the stairs.

"What a pain... I came all the way to Tokyo and now I gotta deal with some curses?" Nobara complained.

"You're here to expel curses, aren't you?" Yuji said lowly.

"Hey, do you even know how to use a katana?" Nobara asked Azure.

"No..." He said looking at the sword on his hip.

"mmm... Let's make this quick and split up, okay? I'll start on the top floor and make my way down. You two start from the bottom, let's finish this up and head over to Ginza for some sushi!" Nobara said.

"Hey, take this more seriously. Curses are dangerous!" Yuji exclaimed.

*KRRK

Nobara's vein popped out in irritation.

"Why's a newbie like you telling me off?! Get moving!" Nobara kicked Yuji.

"I can't read you at all!" Yuji yelled.

"That's why you're not popular."

"What? How'd you know that?!"

Azure hopped off the first couple of steps following Yuji who was talking under his breath.

"I bet you're not popular, either. Idiot..."

"This place gives me the creeps... are we sure curses are here?" Yuji whispered to Azure.

"It's close..." Azure said as he felt something evil nearby.

Azure's voice was strangely calm, almost indifferent, His hand rested on the hilt of Umbra, The dark blade sheathed at his side, as if it were an extension of his very being.

Yuji, feeling the weight of the situation, nods and tightens his fists.

"Got it. Let's do it," Yuji said.

The pair cautiously through the building, the floorboards creaking underfoot. The air grew colder, and a faint, malevolent presence became palpable.

The curse was near, suddenly, a shadow flickers in the corner of their vision.

"There," Azure said.

"Do you... need... a reciept...?" The curse struggled to get out.

Without warning, the curse lunges out of the darkness. It's a grotesque malformed creature, with limbs that bend at unnatural angles and a face twisted in a permanent grimace. Though weak, the curse exudes a malicious intent hungry for the fear of its prey.

Yuji charged forward, his cursed-infused weapon his his hand, aimed at the curse's face, but the creature was quick, dodging the blow with surprising agility.

*WOOSHH

It retaliates with a swipe of its clawed hand, aiming for Yuji's exposed side.

Before the attack can land, Azure steps in, drawing Umbra in one fluid motion.

The blade, dark as night, slices through the air, intercepting the curse's attack with a flash of shadowy energy.

"It's fast, but predictable," Azure said.

The curse snarls, recoiling from the impact, but Azure is already moving. He sidesteps with grace, his blade leaving a trail of darkness as it cuts through the curse's limps.

*SSHHKK

"Nice one, Azure!"

Yuji's weapon connects with its torso, sending it crashing into the wall.

*BOOMM

The creature screeches, its form beginning to dissolve from the combined assault.

Azure raised Umbra, and with a swift motion, he brought the blade down, slicing through the curse's core.

*SZZKK

*BOOMM

"We did it!" Yuji smiled as he went to high-five Azure who high-fived him back.

"Yeah.. let's keep going," Azure said.

"Hey, have you seen a curse before?" Yuji asked.

"No," Azure responded.

"Huh... then how'd you not even get frightened, and you did well with the sword too."

"I don't know, the curse didn't scare me or anything for some reason, and with this sword, it just felt natural..."

Yuji shrugged as he listened to Azure not thinking too much about it as they continued through the halls of the abandoned building.
