Gyarados is enjoying his time here in the Alola waters and he likes it very much here, the pokemons here are not annoying and he has not been attacked even once since he arrived here.
But his peaceful time is about to come to an end as he senses a few pokemons trying to surround him from all sides.
Gyarados snaps open his eyes and surveys his surrounding, there are a few small pokemons near him feeding on the coral growing on the sea floor and using Gyarados as protection from their predators.
Gyarados thought he would be enjoying his days here in peace and quiet, but his dreams were thoughts proved to be wrong.
Gyarados '*sigh* Let's get over with this then'
Gyarados thought and lifted his head up and rose up high. His head went as high as 6 meters while the rest of his body rested on the sea floor.
He looked at the pokemon that is approaching him head-on, even though he can't see this pokemon because of the distance between them and them being in the water as light, but Gyarados easily recognized this pokemon.
It's the same Kingdra he spotted yesterday that was glaring daggers at him. He thought that this Kingdra was smart and knew not to mess with him, but it looks like he was wrong.
Gyarados 'I gave him the benefit of the doubt but who would have thought that he would come back and bring even more chumps for me to beat up'
Gyarados thought to himself.
He could sense his attackers getting closer to him, and soon they appeared in front of him. The only one he couldn't see is the pokemon who is behind him.
This pokemon is still keeping a little distance from him, but Gyarados is not bothered by this at all.
The three pokemons in his view are Kingdra, Golisopod on his right, and Samurott to his left. He doesn't know what pokemon is behind him but he knows it's a big fellow.
His size shocked the three pokemons surrounding Gyarados, but they knew this was their only chance to catch this big fellow off guard.
So without wasting a second, the three of them charged up and used their signature move on Gyarados. Kingdra used Dragon Pulse, Golisopod used Ice Beam, and Samurott used Hydro Pump.
These three are not messing around as they want to take out Gyarados or at least weaken it as much as they can so they didn't hold back and used their signature moves at full power.
Gyarados looked at the incoming attack with a smug look on his face. It did not bother him one bit. But these three attacks are not the only ones. He can also sense another powerful attack heading his way behind his back.
A full-power Hyper Beam is heading his way, and it's tearing through the water that is in front of it.
These four attacks continued to make their way towards Gyarados, but he didn't move. He just stood there and welcomed it.
The four attacks hit Gyarados from all directions, which created a powerful blast. All small pokemons are Gyarados, who got knocked out by the shockwave as they didn't see these attacks coming at them at all, and the ones that didn't get knocked out swam away as fast as they could to avoid getting in trouble.
The power of these four moves was immense, and it even affected the people living on Melemele island as they felt the vibration traveling all over the island.
Some people woke up and looked outside to see a part of the sea rising up as the glow of the blast illuminated the surrounding area.
People were in awe and terrified by seeing this spectacle. Julian also looked out of his window and saw this, and he could already guess what was happening.
The place it is happening is around where Julian left Gyarados.
And with the amount of energy radiating from that place, he can tell that a battle of very high scale is taking place.
Julian 'It must be a territorial dispute'
Julian thought. He had expected this to happen. Introducing an apex predator like Gyarados into an environment already occupied by another apex predator will definitely cause a dispute.

Back in the sea, dust covers the whole area and it being an explosion underwater, the dust is having a hard time settling down due to the density of the water.
The four pokemons saw this and got excited. They thought they were able to take out this giant Gyarados, and that too very easily.
But they need to confirm it, so they decided to get close. Even if the Gyarados is not knocked out, they were still confident that they did enough damage to gang up on Gyarados.
Even Wailord, who was the furthest away from Gyarados, got close to him to check on him. As the four kings approached the massive dust cloud they created, they felt something was wrong.
They suddenly felt a chill run down their spine, and they knew they had to make a run for their life, but it was too late.
They saw a massive tail glow blue inside the dust cloud and before they could even move; the tail swung at them with extreme speed.
Just under a second, the tail made a full circle and smashed the faces of the four kings, sending them shooting through the water. Even Wailord's massive body couldn't handle the force behind this attack.
The glowing tail also left a trail of light in a circular pattern around the dust cloud, which started to disappear as it got pushed away by the Dragon Tail Gyarados used.
As the dust disappeared, the four kings struggled back up and looked at Gyarados to find him completely unharmed, while they on the other hand got wrecked by just one move
