The beginning (1)

By name am Mike and I am the first born of a certain family.

I lived in a village were all males who turned 16yrs had to leave the village.

As it was my 16th birthday my Dad offered me a cross bow and a double edged sword.

Then I had to go join the other students at a camp which was located in the middle of the forest far from all civilization.

On that day I had to head for the camp. I wasn't the only one who was heading there for training.

My friend Dickson was also to head to the camp for training.

We began our journey late in the evening after saying our goodbyes.
