CHAPTER 3: LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

Helen was hawking plantain when she heard that there was a show at the stadium and that Superstars from all round the world were attending the show. Helen was happy and decided to sell fruits on that day. she went to the uncompleted building she was leaving. she took her bath and counted her sales for the day it was two thousand naira. she kept it in her saving box. and ate the bread and fanta she bought and after she slept. there was only three days left before the show and she had to save money to get enough fruits to sell at the stadium .every day she would go and hawk around all the streets.early in the morning that day the show was going to hold She arranged the candies and fruits on her tray, took her bath and went to the stadium to sell her goods there were plenty traders and hawkers at the entrance of the stadium and they were all shouting at the top of their voice including Helen. Dave was the son of a multi millionaire Mr Clinton perry he was Mr perry's only son and he was one of the Superstars who were invited for the show he was handsome 1.85ft tall and he was talented. when Dave arrived at the stadium with his Limousine his fans were everywhere but his bodyguards succeeded in making way for him. Helen was among the people staring at him. he was looking at all the fans who were shouting his name at the top of his voice and immediately caught sight of Helen he looked at her in astonishment she was extremely beautiful and the tray of fruits and candies on her head made her look like a precious pearl he could no longer control the feelings he felt while looking at her face. he walked to where she was standing and asked her the price of what she was selling. Helen was surprised but still decided to tell him the price of the goods she was selling. boss this roadside fruits is not good for you I can get this fruits for you at the bes....ttt enough Charles Dave interrupted Charles hello girl what's your name Dave asked.my name is Helen sir she replied. Dave told Charles to pay for all the goods and give her transport fare. Charles did as he was told and after Dave asked Helen to give him her number but she disagreed on the bases that she did not give her number to strangers but Dave was eager to speak with her so he placed a tracker on her tray Helen thanked Dave and ran off not knowing what just happened. after the show Dave went to the hotel he booked. all through the night he was thinking about Helen. it was love at first sight.
