"Okay, we have been training for a few hours Freddy, lets sleep now, but only twenty minutes alright. No longer then that." Raijin said as he looked over at an exhausted Freddy.
They had been training for an hour now and had just finished Freddie's hamon training. Raijin finished his ten minutes early and decided to help encourage Freddy. Freddy was able to reach about nine hundred eighty rounds of the hamon exercise before he passed out. The bear had never pushed itself so hard in its life, even before the parasytes infested him. Raijin didn't know if he would even wake up on time now.
Luckily, Raijin had an idea on how to make an alarm. He had gotten it from Hunter X Hunter and thought it would be pretty effective. He made some rope, and tied up two boulders above each of them. If they didnt wake up in time, the rope would snap and the boulders would fall on them. Both would be fine since they both had extreme durability and regeneration, it would just hurt a lot.
He sat down in a meditative position and tried to force himself into sleep. He took a few minutes, but was able to do it, mostly due to the fact that he had been training for almost twenty four hours without sleep and before that he had been walking to, so it took little effort to sleep. As for Freddy, he had fallen into a deep sleep after passing out, and wasn't going to wake up anytime soon. Both the parasytes and the bear were not used to exercising, and its body had no idea how to react other then sleep.
-------------------------------
We will now look into one of the most brutal and disgusting places imaginable, the (mostly) human mind. Raijin very rarely had dreams, but he had one short one during his twenty minute nap Don't question how even when he hadn't entered the stage that allowed that, just go with it.
Nothing around him made sense. His body seemed to become like a spirit. He could see in all directions and feel everything inside his dream like it was part of him. He could even create whatever he wanted at will. He did however find that somethings couldn't be felt, so he had to look at them.
In the areas that he couldn't control or feel there were many things happening at once. In one corner he could see a version of himself hurling knives at a picture of Liam. In another he could see himself training with huge weights like Zoro. In a third he could see multiple clones of himself playing different instruments and singing. In front of him on the final corner however, he could see nothing. Everything was like an infinite white void.
He was about to question how he was lucid dreaming, however before he could he saw something appear inside the white void. It seemed to be some sort of golden hand covered in a gauntlet. The hand seemed to radiate a golden aura that made him feel inferior. He just stared at in with a sense of Deja vu, because he didn't know what else to do. The hand then moved, putting its thumb and middle finger together and started to snap.
"Thano-?" Before he could continue his thought, the hand finished snapping and everything froze. He couldn't do anything except observe the hand, it was as if time stopped. The hand moved in front of him and pointed at his chest.
All of the sudden, he could see some sort of transparent golden chest piece materialize on his body. He didnt know what it was, but before he could question it, the armor cracked a little and made a huge sound. The second it cracked, he felt all sense of security leave him.
He wanted to panic and fix the armor, but he couldn't move. He looked back at the hand that was now showing its palm. Then, all around it, faces began to materialize. Some of the faces were golden while some were black.
On the golden side he could see people like Suika, Taiju, Kohaku, and Ruri. The ones in the middle that were a little black and a little gold were (not evil but not really pure either.), Senku (because he wants to revive everyone, including murderers and rapists.), Tsukasa, Gen, Chrome (Because he is a little arrogant), and Daichi. Daichi's face was very blurry though and Raijin could only tell it was him, but not see his exact details.
The final side was black. There he found people like Liam, Hyoga, and Xeno (Not entirely evil, but not pure enough to qualify for the middle region.). What surprised him was that Asami was also on this side. He had thought that this was some kind of measure of moral standing, if that is the case why is Asami on the side he assumes to represent evil?
He couldn't question it as the hand had frozen him. The next thing it did was point to each face one by one, either giving them a line, a checkmark, or an X, and skipped only Daichi. Most people got a line, however Senku, Xeno, Tsukasa, and Kohaku all got checkmarks. The people that got an X were Liam, Hyoga and Asami.
Then the hand turned into a giant golden clock with a lot more numbers the usual and seven hands. Each one being labeled, year, month, week, day, hour, minute, second. He could see that the clock would make a single round every year. Then the clock started to spin faster and faster, until it reached the end of one cycle. When that happened he felt the armor completely shatter and felt as if his soul was heavily damaged.
The hand reappeared and pointed at all the X marked people, who were now all blurred out. Then the clock reset and the armor reformed, however it still had a single crack.
Raijin at this point was more terrified then curious, but he understood its meaning. Either all those targets need to be killed, or they would be killed, otherwise he would lose the armor. He still didnt understand why Asami was on there, but he knew he would do his best to protect her, even if it meant losing this armor.
The hand pointed at the clock, which then started moving. Then it pointed at him, and he felt himself waking up immediately.
--------------------
When he came to, he could still see the clock in his head. It was slowly ticking on and on. He didnt know what to think of what just happened, other then that he had no idea what was happening. Deciding his thinking time was up and he needed to wake up, he opened his eyes.
He saw that it was now night time, and by the looks of it, the middle of the night. He looked around and saw Freddy was awake to, creepily staring at him in the dark, but not doing anything. The boulders were next to each of them on the floor, as if Freddy cut them down before they could wake him up.
"Damn it! Did I sleep to long? Why didnt you wake me up Freddy? I said only twenty minutes, nothing more. Did you do that on purpose to not have to train?" Raijin asked the bear suspiciously.
Freddy simply turned his head away, saying nothing. It couldn't talk the best yet, seeing as Raijin didnt talk to it nearly as much as Shinichi or B23 did to their parasytes, however it could understand what he was saying to an extent.
"Of course you did. Oh well, I guess we will just have to do double the training today." Raijin said evilly, making Freddy look back in horror.
However, Raijin all of the sudden felt a chill go down his spine as he jumped up for seemingly no reason. When he did that, curious as to why it happened, Raijin looked down. On the ground he saw Asami, well, what was supposed to be Asami. Her face had turned into a long flesh like tentacle that had a steel claw like thing on it.
"What the Fuck?" Raijin yelled as he fell back down.
Asami turned around and attacked again. This time, Freddy reacted and roared at her to stop. He was also confused, he was pretty sure that he had seen Raijin and Asami together. He could tell that they didnt really like each other, but he didnt know why she would do this out of nowhere. Well he didnt, until he did. After a few seconds of thinking, he was able to recognize her as one of his own. But that made him even more confused.
He hadn't sensed this earlier when he met her, so why is he feeling it now? He probably wouldn't of attacked her if she were a parasyte earlier, not because he felt empathy, but because he knew how parasytes were. They had to eat those of their own species, so a bear has to eat a bear, and a human has to eat a human to survive. She wasn't a parasyte earlier, so he thought she was there to steal his food and decided to attack her.
This is also the reason she is here. She has to eat humans, and she cant eat them if they are made of stone, so she had to find the closest living, moving human in her area, which happened to be Raijin.
He had no idea what was going on. He could tell she was a Parasyte, but he didnt know how. He was pretty sure that all the parasytes had matured by now, so why did she suddenly become one. 'Could there have been a second wave?' He said and looked at the sky while dodging her.
She was definitely faster and still had all the power she did before, but she still couldn't reach water running speed. He was even fast enough to run up trees without the power of hamon, so there was no chance of her reaching him.
"Asami, what the hell happened to you?!" Raijin yelled after seeing no floating green orbs in the sky.
Asami just continued to attack, using every thing she could, hamon, parasytic tentacles, parasytic blades, and her mushin combat ability. Raijin was only able to hold on because of his inhuman strength, speed and endurance.
