Chapter 7: Know You More

Elisse's POV

Prince Harold and I stayed quiet here. Why did he even brought me here? We did nothing here but just stared at the skies.

"What do you want to do?" He asked me. Suddenly I looked at him and he was looking at me too.

"Don't look at me like that. You're tempting me. Or should I say, you're seducing me." He says. This guy is really something else!

"I am not seducing you! What do you think of me?" I hit him on his chest.

"Beautiful." He smiled.

"Huh?" I asked him.

"I think of you, you are beautiful." He says. I suddenly averted my gaze. What did he just said? I can feel the heat on my face.

Moments later, I looked at him. He was just staring at the sky. The clouds are clearly visible here.

As I was staring at him, I can't deny he has a good-looking face. He looks like the perfect Prince a Princess would ever ask for. Those black hair, maroon eyes, his white skin, and sharp jawline.

I think I'm falling.

"You're falling for me?" He asked while looking up at the sky.

"No, of course! Do you want me to beat you there?!" I told him.

"Haha. Just chill. You'll get old faster." He says. I stared at him. He doesn't look like a Prince anymore.

"If you think I am not a Prince, then who am I?" He asked.

"Even just now, please don't read my mind. You're a messing up my mood." I told him. Why is he reading my mind?

"Haha, you're cute when you're mad. I should know you more." He said simultaneously pinching my cheek.

"Don't pinch me. Are we friends?" I asked him.

"Haha. You're just like Princess Jewel." He says.

Huh? What does Princess Jewel have to do with this?

"You really look like Princess Jewel. She's just more formal than you." He says.

"Whatever." I told him.

"Do you want me to introduce you to her? Oh! That's right, next week Princess Jewel will study here at the academy. You will meet her." He says.

"And then?" I asked.

"You're really funny. Come on. Your friends might be worried about you this time." He says.

He helped me stand up. But of course as a sensible woman, I distance myself from her.

We went down to the first floor. The pain in my feet again.

I met Venice and Suzy on the first floor. They're staring at me.

"You, lady! Where did you go?" Venice asked me.

"Uhm, on the roof—"

"And why are you with that man? What did you do? You better give me a good answer, Elisse." Suzy told me.

"Gosh. You're overreacting. We are not—"

"Hush! You're really making me mad! You're grounded!" Venice said and they dragged me.

I am grounded? But they are not my parents! They're so ruthless.

I complained as Venice dragged me to our dorm room. It just hurt my feet more!

We have entered our dorm room.

"Where did you go?" Suzy asked me all of a sudden.

I took a deep breath. "I'm from the rooftop—"

"WITH PRINCE HAROLD?!" Venice and Suzy shouted at the same time.

I covered my ears. They're so loud!

"Listen first." I told them.

"All right. We'll listen." Venice said to me.

I cleared my throat. "Ehem. This was what happened. When we came out of the Spell Lab, Prince Harold suddenly pulled me. That's what happened." I explained to them.

"Oh? Why didn't you shout?" Venice asked.

"I can't even shout." I said.

"Really. You probably wanted Harold to pull you too." Suzy said.

"No, I don't! You ain't making any sense." I told her.

"Psh. Liar. You really left—"

"NO. I DID NOT LEAVE!" I told Suzy.

"Yeah, whatever. Because of what you did, you'll cook for our dinner later. That's your punishment." Suzy said to me.

"Huh?! There's a lot of food in the Dining Hall. Y'all are bad." I pout. They are bad.

"Awww. You're bad Suzy. Baby Elisse is going to cry." Venice said and she hugged me.

Suzy just raised an eyebrow at us.

"Argh! Kids!" Suzy shouted and went out of our dorm room.

"What's wrong with her?" I asked Venice who still hugs me.

"I don't know, baby Elisse." She says.

Baby Elisse? Do I look like a baby?

"Don't call me baby. I'm not a baby anymore. Geez." I told her.

"You're bad, baby Elisse." She said and then she pout.

"I'm dead serious. I'll slap you." I said.

"Why so serious, baby? Why are you with my future husband?" She asked.

I immediately looked at her because of what she said.

"Your future husband is Prince Harold?" I asked Venice.

"Yes." She says.

"In my dreams." She added.

Was that supposed to be a joke? Funny. I forgot to laugh.

Dixie suddenly appeared in front of Venice and me.

"Hello, ladies!" She greeted us.

"The cute one! Stop me, Elisse. I might eat that little creature." Said Venice.

"What the hell? Don't eat the little creature. Just pinch her." I told her. But I wasn't serious about that. I don't want to harm this pixie.

"Why are you here Dixie?" I asked her.

"Uhm, I missed you girls." She says.

Aw, that was cute.

"Pfft. She's just fooling us, Elisse." Said Venice.

"Uhm. Okay, I have something to say. Fairy Gazelle said, you will have one fairy each. It is for emergency purposes and more. They could be also your personal messengers and assistants." Dixie told us.

"Aw, fairies? Not pixies?" Venice asked.

"The other students, they will have pixies." Said Dixie.

"In fact, I am Miss Venice personal assistant." Dixie smiled.

"Huhuhu! You're mine!" I said.

"Oh, you blame the Headmistress. Not to me." Dixie said and she suddenly disappeared.

"Where did she go?" I asked.

After a while, Suzy returned to our dorm room and she was with Dixie and the two fairies.

"That's Venice and Elisse." Said Suzy.

Venice and I were approached by two fairies.

"Hi, Miss Elisse!" The violet fairy said to me. My cute fairy.

"Hello! What's your name?" I asked her.

"I am Fairy Viana. I will be your fairy." She said. She's so adorable.

"You're so cute. My name is Elisse Hudson." I told her.

"Thank you. You're so kind, Miss Elisse. You really reminds me of Princess Jewel." She says.

"No way." I said.

"It's true. You'll meet her next week." Said Viana.

After a week, we are all back to school. We have class again. The Black Season is over.

We are all currently eating at the Dining Hall. It's Monday. The Acquaintance Party will be tonight. And also, today I will finally meet Princess Jewel.

"Listen students." Headmistress Gazelle said she had just entered the Dining Hall. The students stood up so I stood up too.

"She's already here." Said Suzy.

"Who?" I asked.

There was a sound of trumpet and the door of the Dining Hall opened wide.

"Welcome the Princess of Gemstone Kingdom, Princess Jewel Gemstone." Said Headmistress Gazelle. There, a young women wearing a red dress entered inside.
