CHAPTER 39
Jessica grabbed Lydia's arm as she dragged her towards Madame Anna's direction as she went in the direction of the dining room. Leanna and I started up the stairs as she said, "I can't believe how Lydia has changed! She's a completely different person now."
"She's always been like this, Leanna. She just hid her personality well." I replied to her as we reached the top of the stairs.
"But she's meaner than ever. I thought that she would have grown as a person after living in the palace z but she hasn't. She's become worse than most vampires." Leanna muttered angrily under her breath.
"Yeah, and I don't think that Penelope is going to let me win either, especially after being kicked out of the selection. At least not without trying to do something to make me lose the selection too." I mused as I thought back to how she was dragged away by the guards.
