Ethan stopped walking, deciding to wait for a while to see what would happen. Maybe she can save herself without his need. He stood there watching as she struggled.

Patel felt the more she tried to raise her body to the surface the more her body drowned deep into the water. She unconsciously drank too much of the water making it hard for her to breathe. Eventually, her body lost its strength and she started to lose her consciousness and her body started to sink deeper.

Ethan sighed as he walked towards the swimming pool and jumped into the water, swimming towards her, Warping one hand around her body, He used the other to swim them back to the edge of the pool.

Getting them both out of the pool, Ethan noticed that she was struggling to get out of the water that swelled, He moved close to her and tried to help her but she moved away from him, Scared that he might hurt her.

Ethan took a deep breath trying to calm himself and what happened next shocked Patel to the core. He forced her to lay down on her body and started to press his hands on her chest to get the water out and after a few seconds, She started to cough the water out.

Patel was so scared of this man, Once he removed his hands she quickly got up and ran towards the mansion.

"So much for a thank you." He said as he watched her running like a frightened little bunny who is being chased by a pack of hyenas.

Ethan stood up and walked back towards his house.

Upstairs, Inside Patel's room, She changed her clothes quickly and dried her hair not wanting to get sick, Only two weeks left before the surgery, She already has a weak immune system.

Getting under the covers, She brought the warm quilt up to her nose, She tried not to think about what just happened, She hadn't thought that her night walk will end up with her falling into the swimming pool in a very stupid way like this.

But why did she feel as if someone had pushed? Did that push and pretend to save her? She wondered.

She won't be surprised if he did that.

Her body shivered in fear remembering his cold eyes that peered down at her. She closed her eyes trying to sleep and just forgot about that.

The next morning, After breakfast, Noah came to visit Patel as he didn't get the chance to see her yesterday.

But during that time, He noticed that she wasn't fine. She looked tired and stressed out.

Did something happen? He wondered.
