New Job

To get a Job is not easy but Angel is determined to get one urgently. she needs to prove to her husband that she is capable of being useful.

Angel woke up very early and gently checked the fridge and find nothing except drink and some leftover foods with water. That's when she realizes again that she's married. She took a bottle water and walked out of the house before her husband. she trekked a little to the bus station and board a bus to the town. she stopped at her favourite cafe and paid the driver. she moved closer to the cafe, opened the door and entered the Manager's office.

" should I come in?" she asked sceptically

" Is it after coming in majestically like the owner?" he mimicked her a little with a smile

" How are you George? it been long" she smiled a little

" Yes angel, I'm fine dear. I hope you still remember my proposal?" He asked firlting with her

" Well George, I'm sorry but I'm married" she said calmly

He stood up and stared at me weird

" Are you kidding just to send me away?" he said

" Well I won't joke with marriage George. I'm surely married" I said as I show him my left hand

" Since when?" he screamed loud

" I'm married George, I won't lie to you" angel said fighting the urge not to roll her eyes

" Is your husband nice to you?" he asked curiously

" Shouldn't that be a personal secret and mostly not with outsiders?" she replied bluntly

" Well I'm not a stranger to you. am I?" He asked

" Well, whether you're my parents or friend. my life is personal and I won't discuss my personal stuff with you. okay? so can we change the topic?" I said

" To what? this is also important" George said angrily

" I'm searching for a job" I said as he laughed devilishly

" Are you whining me? your husband is poor to take care of you? how big are you that he can't take care of you. He must be miserable" He said mocking her

" I see you've grow wings to talk rudely at me. Is my business so mind yours and stop invading in my privacy man. Finding a job does not mean my husband is jobless, it's called usefulness and responsible. Besides my husband's money is enough to buy you yourself and you entire miserable family. don't you dare till you die talk about my husband like that you bastard, disgusting pig of a man" she screamed loud

" You're very rude Angel and I know from the start but I just wanted to manage you" He replied

" Well may God punish you for your management bastard. infact to hell with you and your management. you are shameless and disgusting" angel shouted at him pointing her fingers at him angrily

" Well that's why you married a poor man" He said as angel laughed at his foolishness. she does not need to boast about her husband for the useless man. she will deal with him himself

" Well that why your family is nothing but a disgrace including yourself George" she said as George moved closer and almost slapped her but she stopped him and slapped him instead.

" I don't think you remember the person you are dealing with? I will destroy you myself" she screamed at him.

George laughed at her foolishness " Really? even you can destroy someone. A child without a mother?" He laughed loud not expecting the next attempt

Angel climb through his desk a little and punch him on his face. George was taking off guard. he knew she is crazy but not this crazy. Angel walked out shut the door hard after her. George swear he will revenge on her and followed her but she's nowhere to found.

Angel walked towards to the market to get her recipes for chocolate and more flavours to bake her chocolate at him.

Liam in his office feeling very exhausted after a long work yesterday and today. he just finished his meetings and sat calmly on his chair. Maya knocked and walked in calmly to drop another file

" Sir, Here is the file you requested for." Maya said as she dropped the file on the desk

" Alright you can go Maya" he said without looking up or close his eyes.

" Are you okay sir?" Maya asked calmly

" I'm fine Maya thank you" He said as he close his eyes

" How is your wife? I hope she's not too stubborn on you ?" Maya asked smiling at herself

Liam suddenly open his eyes at stared at her smile and frown

" Why are you smiling? she's the snake herself"

" Is not easy for her too, please bear with her for a while. I'm sure she will come around. And beside did she know that you love vanilla cupcakes?" she smiled widely

" She didn't need it and don't tell her anything about me okay?" He ordered as she nod

" Yes boss" she frown a little and walked out

Liam bow his head a little craving for vanilla cupcakes all of a suddenly but too tried to get up.

Maya gently walked to her office and get a call through to Angel. she picked up fast

" My sweat angel. how are you doing?" She greeted her

" Maya, how are you doing? I'm fine" Angel replied

" Well, I'm fine just too stressed with the enormous works here in the office and the boss is extremely stressed and weak" Maya said as she frown

" Really, Hope he's fine?" Angel asked worried for him

" He will manage. how is marriage life sweetheart?" Maya asked to change the topic

" We are trying to adjust somehow. is not easy to be honest. I'm currently searching for a job" Angel replied

" What? why? Sir is capable of taking care of you" Maya asked shocked at her words

" He didn't want me to be idle at home." Angel said trying to defend him. she knows he's right somehow

" He will change. he loves doing that, pushing people to work for themselves." Maya agreed calmly

" he is right somehow. as woman we should be responsible and useful" Angel slowly commented

" i agree honey. Well a little secret, the way to your husband's heart is vanilla cupcakes. he loves it with Passion. learn it oo" Maya explained gently

" Thank you Maya. take care of my husband" Angel found herself saying those sentence consciously

" I will Mrs wifey" Maya teased her calmly and smile widen at the two sweet couple

" And take care of yourself too. bye" she said and hang up. Maya smiled and silently wishes the toe newly couple the strength and love to sustain their relationship.
