"The perfect person I've been looking for," he laughed breathily, pasuing. "It's you, Fia. It's always been you."
Wes leaned down and captured my lips with his.
He looped his arms around me. A warmth rushed through my body from his touch, it left me feeling limp as I leaned into him.
He kissed me softly at first, his lips slowly and gently moving against mine. My hands linked around the back his neck, pulling him further down to me. A soft groan escaped from low in his throat, his hands finding themselves tangled in my hair as he kissed me more intensely, eagerly like we were both aching for more.
My whole world around me felt like it was spinning, my knees feeling like they would buckle at any moment now.
Breathlessly, he pulled away from me and leaned his forehead on mine. A smile tugged on his lips, his eyes shining with desire.
I took a deep breath, regaining some oxygen. "You had me going for a spin, Hamilton."
Wes quirked an eyebrow, his jaw falling as he gaped at me. He laughed, "I did? How?"
My face flushed as a blush spread across my features. I shrugged softly, trying to avoid his gaze that was making me feel all flustered and fidgety. "I thought..."
"Come 'ere." Wes held onto my hand as he brought us over to my bed. He leaned against the backboard, opening his arms for me to join him.
Feeling oddly and very unlike myself, I shyly snuggled into his side as he wrapped an around around me. I leaned my head down on his shoulder, exhaling a deep breath as all the weights had finally lifted off of me.
"I thought... you didn't feel that."
Wes scoffed, chuckling deeply. "You're kidding, right?"
I lifted my head to look at him, shaking my head. "No," I laughed. "You... said it was all for show, to convince my family we were dating. You didn't kiss me in the rain. I don't know."
Wes gaped at me like I was a madwoman. "Fia... baby, no." He ran a hand through my hair, shaking his head as he chuckled softly. He looked at me in awe, like I was something precious. "I agreed that it was for show because you said it first. I kissed you at the wedding and you didn't say anything about it. I didn't kiss you in the rain - which by the way, was the most restraint I have ever mustered, but I didn't kiss you because I thought you would... slap me, if I did."
Wes and I both looked at each other, the realization setting in. We both started to understand how we were trying to hint but giving the wrong hints, while seeing past each other's hints at the same time.
We both started laughing. Uncontrollably.
"We're fucking idiots," Wes mumbled into my hair as he hugged me, nuzzling his head into the crook of my neck.
My stomach was giddy and fluttering. "We are. We were on the same page the whole time but didn't see it?"
"Apparently," he grinned as he spoke. "I guess we've always been each other's without realizing it."
I turned my head to look at him, cupping his face in my hands. I trailed my thumb gently against his jaw, just looking at his gorgeous features and taking them all in.
Wes was here. I was with Wes. And everything felt more perfect that I could have imagined.
I couldn't shake away the giddiness or butterflies. I traced my thumb across his bottom lip, mesmerizing by every little thing about him. He's perfect.
Wes's lip tugged up in a cheeky little smile. He leaned forward, capturing my lips between his once again.
My wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer into him, so close that I had found my way on top of his lap.
My hands linked around his neck as our lips danced together hungrily. His tongue swept across my bottom lip, somehow finding its way into my mouth before I could process it.
I accidentally let out a little squeal, Wes chuckling against my lips as he flipping me over so I was lying and he was hovering above me. My hands trailed over his chest, a small moan escaping the back of my throat as he gently pulled my bottom lip between his teeth.
We were kissing like our lives depended on it. Like this moment was so long awaited and now that it was finally here, we couldn't get enough of each other. His tongue slipped into my mouth, gentle and playful but also demanding.
Every inch of my body felt like it was dissolving into him, arching up into him to somehow feel more of him. My fingers tugged on the end of his hair, pulling him closer into me.
The weight of his body was on top of me. He was pressed right against me, my whole body feeling like it was on fire from his intoxicating touch that drove me crazy. Wes's hands slid down my sides, gently squeezing my hips.
"Ah!" A shrieking scream caused us to pull away suddenly. Wes flipped himself off of me, turning the wrong way and falling off the bed and onto the ground.
A groan escaped his lips as a thud sounded from the impact of his body hitting the ground.
I gasped as I sat up, leaning over the bed to look at Wes laying on his back on the ground, rubbing the back of his head with a painful expression on his face.
I glanced to the door to see Michelle with her jaw dropped, covering her eyes with her hands.
I rolled my eyes, huffing out a breath as I hopped out of bed, holding out a hand to help Wes up.
Wes bit his tongue as he stood up, evidently fighting back his laughter. "Hey Michelle," he drawled out slowly.
My face flushed, heat crawling up to my cheeks as I offered Michelle a sheepish look. She moved her fingers to peak at us cautiously before letting her arms drop to her sides. "Jesus! I thought you guys were fighting or something."
"Yeah, we kind of made up." I offered her a sheepish, cheeky smile.
She rolled her eyes playfully, giving me a suggestive look. "More like made out."
I scrunched up my face in embarrassment, my face feeling like it was on fire as a massive blush spread across my cheeks.
"Next time put a sock on the door." She gave me and Wes a pointed look, smiling innocently.
"Will do," Wes spoke gleefully, sending me a wink.
I swatted his arm, shaking my head at him. "Funny."
"Anyways," Michelle drawled out slowly. "I just needed to grab my wallet. I think... I will stay the night at Chris's apartment. You two kids... have fun."
She wiggled her eyebrows as she gathered her things before skipping out of the room.
I shifted on my feet, feeling incredibly sheepish and embarrassed as I turned to look at Wes. "That... was something."
He sucked in a breath, smiling like a schoolboy. "Sure was." He turned to face me, wrapping his arms around my waist. "Are you okay with all this?"
I looked up at him, a small smile etched onto my face. "With Michelle walking in on us making out?"
Wes rolled his eyes playfully, chuckling. "Well, that too but... with us, I mean. I don't really know what this is."
I nodded slowly, my fingers fiddling with the neck of his shirt. "I don't either but I..."
I bit the inside of my cheek. I knew what I wanted to say but I was afraid. Was it too soon? I mean, I knew fell for him a long while ago but it sounded crazy to say it so soon. We had only confessed our mutual feelings less than an hour ago.
Wes raised his eyebrows, intrigued and waiting for me to continue.
I let out a small breath, smiling up at him. "You drive me crazy, Weston Hamilton. Whatever this is, I like it. I want it."
I knew how I felt about Wes and I had never been more sure of anything in my life. I wasn't afraid to let him know that I was in-love with him, or at least still falling deeply in-love with him, but I wanted to take this easy and let it grow on it's own time.
We were in no rush. We had all the time in the world and I knew I wanted to share my time with him.
Wes exhaled, seeming more than happy to hear me say those words. He leaned down and placed a soft and quick kiss on my lips, letting his lips linger above mine for a moment longer. He peered down at me with eyes filled with passion and tenderness.
"And you drive me just as crazy, Fia Romero, if not more. Whatever this is, I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else."
