Sacrifice and Honor

The men surrounded everyone sleeping by the fire and halted. "Wait on his orders." Delta said as he crouched down in the tall grass.

"They're in a cliff…we can push them off or something. They have nowhere to run, sir." A soldier said.

Charlie ran as fast as he could through the forest. "Adisa…is alive!? Captain was friends with him!? What the hell is going on? All the things Adisa said…were they true? He sounded so…so-damn it!" Charlie stopped and turned his head.

"S-should I go back? Adisa sounded…like he was in pain. Something's not right. Maybe I should-"

"Keep moving or I'll kill you." Marcel said as he appeared from behind. "Marcel?! Why would you kill-"

"Listen kid, I'm not what you think I am! I'm telling you to move on! You'll only die if you fight with those two! Your species is about to fall apart right before your eyes soon anyways! I shouldn't even be here! I should be with the others trying to find Xenon."

"What the hell are you saying? Your not one of us?"

"Oh? You don't know? Oh, that's right. The Frost clan are one of the clans that are blind from the whole situation. Don't worry about it. Right now I just need you to do what Frost told you." Marcel said as he slapped Charlie lightly across the face. "If you cross this path again…I'll kill you." Marcel disappeared and Charlie turned around and kept running.

Charlie finally reached the hideout. "Well? What did he say?" Delta asked.

"Captain has his hands full at the moment. He said to proceed and kill them all!" Charlie said as he motioned for the troops to move.

"There coming. We just keep pretending to be asleep or what?" Jade asked.

"Who cares." Splinter yawned.

"Bullets can't even hurt us. Unless there's something in…it….yeah screw, that I'm getting up." Kenan said.

"Wait. Don't be in such a rush. Let's all cherish this moment of death lingering near." Zarbon said.

"The hell are you on about!?"

"Umm, how about we kill them?" Alayah asked.

Splinter turned his head and looked Alayah in the eyes. "You know…I like the way you think!" Splinter laughed.

"Everyone shut up…I want to keep enjoying the sky." Dora argued. Jade thought hard about the situation but couldn't wrap around it. Don't these people know were about to get shot at? She thought to herself.

"You see that shining star? I've always wanted to just…reach and touch one. It's been a dream of mine for a while." Splinter said as he closed his eyes. "What are y'all's dreams?" He asked.

"I don't know? Meet my mom?" Alayah ranted. "You Dora?"

"I wanna get me a damn dog. That…that is truly a dream."

"A dog? How the hell is that a dr-" Splinter put his hand over Jades mouth. "Don't judge someone on their dreams. Every dream has a meaning, Jade." Splinter whispered in her ear.

God I'm definitely taking her from her man! He laughed in his head.

"What about you, Zarbon? What's your dream?" Splinter asked.

"I've always wanted to start a family and be happy. That's mine. But…my temper needs controlling first-"

"Jesus, say that again!" Dora laughed.

"You Kenan?" Jade asked.

"My dream is to adventure the outside world! I don't wanna stay on this island for long. Imma explore the whole world! What's your dream, Jade?" Kenan asked.

Jade thought hard but couldn't think of anything.

"I…don't have-"

"Sorry to interrupt. The men are about to surround us and you people keep talking about damn dreams!" Gritha hissed.

"I almost forgot about them. You ready, Kenan?"

"For what?"

"To fuck shut up!"

Frost and Adisa stood yards away from each other. "There's no way your really Adisa though. What are you?" Frost asked.

Adisa tapped his foot on the ground and moved around in a dancing motion. "This is perfect! It's me, Frost! In the flesh! I was in the dark for so long! Now…I can finally start having my revenge!" Adisa laughed.

"Summer really was right. Adisa's-" Adisa leaped across the clearing and jumped high in the sky. "Flame user!" Adisa yelled.

Frost quickly clapped his hands and prepared for what was coming. "He knows flame techniques!? I thought the god in him could copy- don't tell me he developed that ability too!" Frost said to himself as he surrounded himself with a wall of ice.

Adisa pointed at Frost. "Meteor strike…Dark corruption!" Adisa's aura formed into meteors and were surrounded by dark energy.

"This guy…really is Adisa!" The realization started kicking in as Frost's heart rate starting going through the roof. "I-I thought you were dead! We-I-no,no,no! This isn't the time to have a panic attack! Pull yourself together, Frost!" He told himself as he rubbed his hand across the ground. "Ice spear."

The meteors fell towards Frost's shield. "The ashes allow Adisa to teleport at will. Being that the meteors are surrounded by it…I'm guessing he is waiting for me to leave and make his move. Smart…but not good enough." Frost made an opening in the fort and threw the spear faster than the speed of light at Adisa.

"Slow." Adisa flipped off of one of the meteors and caught the spear.

Frost clutched his fist. "Activate!" Spikes appeared across the spear, keeping's Adisa's hand in place. Adisa flicked his other hand down. The meteors crashed into the fort and destroyed it.

"I know that's not enough." Adisa said. "But still…he's able to do damage to me in my shadow form?" Adisa fell from the sky and landed softly on the ground. He pulled out his sword and approached the rubble. "There's no time! I can't fight you. I'm at my weakest. Something your not ready for is coming soon! I don't want that thing to kill you because I want you for myself-"

Frost summoned his ice sword and ran at Adisa from behind. Adisa spun around and collided with him. "You ain't listening!" Adisa laughed. Adisa grabbed Frost by his arm and threw him into the forest. Adisa noticed his hand had been frozen.

"He's trying to stop me from using hand signs. That's smart."

Frost lay on the ground and looked up at the sky. "Charlie…he won't ever look at me the same. I have lots of sins I need to confess and own up to…but…something in me is telling me to keep going. We all have to do what we gotta do to survive…right? Forgive me, sister. Im going to burrow your eye!" Frost put a hand on his blind fold. "I'll show you what it means to protect!" Frost yelled. The whole area lit up and covered in ice. Adisa was stunned from the power Frost had. Before Frost could completely reveal his eyes and power, I giant lighting strike crashed through the sky. "It's here." Adisa said.

Adisa put away his sword and left. "I have to hurry up and get to the others!"

Frost tried to find Adisa but couldn't see him anywhere. "Delta, be wary of a man dressed in all black with long hair! If you see him run away!" Frost said into the earpiece.

Delta and the squad surrounded Jade and the others. "Ready?" Splinter asked Kenan. Splinter jumped up and dragged his hand across the ground to cover the area with dirt and dust.

The soldiers fired shots in the dust. Everyone was gone.

"Nice moves!" Splinter laughed. Kenan managed to scoop everyone off of their feet and jump away from danger. "We reset and attack them from here! I call first!" Splinter yelled.

"No? I wanted first?"

"Eh? Fine, go ahead, Alayah."

"Thanks?" Alayah took a step forward and removed her jeans and shirt.

She wore a battle suit under her clothes. She stretched and took a deep breath. Alayah pushed off ground and dashed towards the crew.

"Give her one damn minute. She really might kill everyone." Sendra said.

"Wait…you can tell how powerful she is?" Jade asked.

"Yes. All of you are strong."

"I'm right here?" Alayah screamed as the soldiers turned around and took fire. "Shoot her!"

"Come out…Zombia." Alayah touched the ground. "You all can finally eat!" She laughed. The men shot at Alayah, but creatures came up from the ground.

A hand grabbed a man's foot and pulled him under. "The hell!?"

"Yep. She can summon a army of zombies that won't die unless she does…pretty lazy isn't it? By that I mean lazy writing." Splinter said.

The zombies quickly crowded the men. Ten of them quickly turned. Delta and Charlie made their way towards Alayah.

"Echo wave!" Delta yelled as his aura built up. Alayah was stunned! She didn't see him coming at all. Splinter jumped in front of Alayah. Splinter managed to touch Delta. Delta was shot away with great force.

"Good thing you had a lot of potential." Splinter laughed.

Delta slowly stood to his feet and brushed himself off. "How did you-"

"Kinetic energy manipulation! I was able to use your kinetic energy and transfer it to mine so I can blast you away! Those suits must have armor. You should have a hole in you right now."

Delta stared at Splinter. "Kinetic energy manipulation…..amazing." Delta scuffed. Delta took a deep breath and clapped his hands.

There's lots of them! All stronger than us, probably. I'll have to save ervyone! Charlie is new to this, he's not ready for people on this level! Delta thought as he threw down smoke bombs.

Alayah and splinter pressed their backs against each other. "U like you two, I can see you! I use the vibrations from earth and your breathing to locate where you are! I'm blind anyway!"

"Alayah, pull away your zombies. I'm going to use it."

Alayah's jaw dropped. "Actually?" I've ever seen your expansion."

"Would you shut up and tell everyone to wait? I'll be the one to kill them all before they try to run over here." Splinter laughed.

Alayah ran towards the group.

Splinter clapped his hands and took a deep breath. "Oh shit…I forgot I don't have one!" He yelled.

Delta jumped at Splinter. "Air Shuriken!" A giant shuriken made of air formed. Delta threw it at Splinter. Before Splinter could react, Jade jumped in front of him, reflecting the shuriken.

"It bounced off? Of what?" Delta asked as he jumped back. The soldiers fought off the zombies while Delta had to deal with Splinter and Jade.

"You really are a dumbass." Delta laughed at Splinter.

"He's not your concern anymore. Your opponent is me!" Jade threatened.

"I didn't know you'd be a traitor, Jade! I guess all that abuse from your father really made you go crazy!" Delta laughed.

"I won't waste anytime." Splinter whispered in Jade's ear. Suddenly, he appeared behind Delta and pulled out his sword.

"Die!" Splinter yelled.

He's fast! But not faster than me. Delta thought as he quickly dodged. Delta launched himself in the sky and built up his aura. "Wind wave…demolished current!"

The ground cracked and rose like a wave in the ocean. "Stay close to me!" Jade ordered Splinter.

Jade stood still whole Splinter held on to her. Splinter was shocked to see the attack moving around Jade. "What the hell? You have a forcefield or something?" Splinter asked.

"You talk too much. Focus on the man attacking. not me!" Jade yelled.

Delta flew around and studied Jade carefully. "I can't harm her…that's for sure. Charlie has disappeared? I guess he's going to go fight the rest. That's suicide." Delta thoughts as he landed on a nearby tree and took a deep breath. "In that case…I'll just go beyond my limits. "Expansion: Hallow Wind."

"Are you holding back!?" Splinter yelled at Jade. "I wanna see you go all out!" Splinter yelled again.

Jade pushed Splinter away and pulled out her sword. "I can't. I didn't come here to get my hands dirty, Splinter!" Jade leaped across the area and headed straight towards Delta.

Aggressive winds pushed her back and she crashed towards the ground. "Damn! The hell is that?" Jade thought as she noticed Delta flying freely.

"My winds! No one can fly in this!" Delta laughed as he zoomed around. Jade tried to locate him but couldn't. She felt a sharp pain on her back. Delta managed to cut Jade on her back.

"He knows about the weak point!?" Jade asked herself as she jumped around. "You must've forgotten who I am, Delta." Jade scuffed as she made a hand sign. "Forcefield…expand!"

She made her field bigger than before!? Not bad, Jade! Delta laughed.

"I am….wind!" Delta laughed as he was face to face with Jade. "He's moving so fast…that he's wind!? I didn't even see him! How did he break through my-"

Delta brought his blade down towards Jade's eye. Before he could stab her, Splinter landed a jaw breaking kick to Delta.

"Your welcome!" Splinter said as he winked at Jade. Delta fell back and flew around once again.

"He invisible?" Jade asked.

"You can't see him? He's moving so fast…he is practically air itself!"

"How can you see him?"

"I don't know. But…he's moving really slow." Splinter slammed his sword into the ground and clapped his hands. The sword became a long spear.

Splinter took aim and threw it, hitting Delta in the right shoulder and knocking him off of course. "Shit! He can see me!?" Delta fell to the ground and was halted. Splinter stood over him while pointing his sword.

"Now…your going to come with us!"

Charlie and the group of men were captured. "That was a lame attempt!" Zarbon laughed at Charlie.

"Screw you! At least I tried!" Charlie yelled.

Splinter and Jade came with Delta tied up and threw him to the ground.

"Delta?" Charlie said.

"No talking!" Dora warned.

"What the hell do we do with these guys!? Kill them!?" Splinter asked.

"That's not what boss would want?" Alayah said. The group thought amongst themselves. "All of you are dead! Frost will come and-"

"Frost? The hell is that?" Kenan laughed.

While the group talked. Delta gave Charlie a nod. Sendra and Gritha walked towards the group with Alicia being carried by the both of them.

"What is this!?" Sendra asked.

"I'm sorry, Charlie. You live a long life." Delta whispered. "What…are you saying?"

Delta rolled over and revealed a bomb hidden under his arm sleeve. "Delta…you can't. What will I do without you!? Your my brother." Charlie said.

A breeze came along. Delta used the wind to cut Charlie free.

"I'm sorry." Delta said as he used his winds to push Charlie away from the group. "What the-" Jade looked down and noticed the bomb.

"Oh shit! Everyone back up!" She screamed.

"I'll see you all in hell!" Delta yelled as the bomb went off. The blast had a huge radius. Rebutting was blown away in the area.

Frost ran through the forest and heard the blast. "Was that a bomb or someone's attack?"

Adisa was a few miles in front of Frost. He wondered the same as he did. "I believe in them. I have to track this creature down and fast! Otherwise, this will all be for nothing!" Adisa said as he started speeding up and vanished in thin air.

Frost halted and thought. "I have to alert the others! All the clans must know! He's running away and I can't use my full power. I'll let you off the hook this time, Adisa." Frost said as he headed towards the explosion.

Jade managed to expand her force field and protect everyone within the blast radius. "Everyone okay?" She asked.

Everyone was safe. The smoke cleared and everyone noticed the shape of a man walking towards the force field.

It was Frost. Frost was holding Parts of Delta in his hands and was staring at the burnt pieces of body. "Delta…why?" Frost asked.

Jade couldn't believe it. She couldn't think of what to say. "F-frost?" She said.

Frost lifted his head and looked Jade directly in the eyes. "I recognize that voice. It's you, Jade. What would your boyfriend think of this? You…working with the enemy…and him."

"I have nothing to do with their goals! I came to search for their leader, a man who can help us defeat the beast!" Jade explained.

"Excuse me? These…these things don't have emotions! You were part of their group, you know this. Your under arrest-"

Jade let out a laugh. "Under arrest? Were you really about to say that? THIS IS ISLAND X!! We have no rules! This is a place where the worst of the worst come! You're the one who's controlled and have no emotions! You killed your own father, destroyed your clan, and killed your friend!" Jade yelled. "Don't insult them! They all have emotions same as you."

Frost fell into silence. Jade could only look at his blind fold. His eyes were covered. "You don't know?" Frost asked. Frost circled the force field. "Their leader…is Adisa."

Jade's force field started to slowly fall apart.

Zarbon creeped towards Jade. "Jade, I need you to listen to me! Its all a mind game! He just wants your field to fall apart so he can kill you!" Zarbon explained.

Jade want listening. She was so zoned out. "A-Adisa…H-Alive? A-are you sure!?" Jade asked Frost.

"I'm sure. He's been alive for a while apparently. He's the one who killed Nzinga, Jade. He is pure evil! He wants nothing but revenge-"

"YOU WATCH YOUR DAMN MOUTH!" Kenan yelled as he drew his sword from the pouch. "Our boss is nothing like that! Yes, he's been alive for a while…but he hasn't killed anyone related to your gang!" Kenan explained.

"Wait…you guys knew?" Jade asked slowly. Her force field started to get smaller even faster.

Splinter pushed everyone to the side and took a deep breath. "Jade, listen." He put his hand on her shoulder. Jade pushed him away with the flick of her finger. "You lied! You didn't tell me anything about Adisa!"

"I didn't think we had to!"

"So what? You just don't tell me!? Why are we here!?"

Splinter hesitated. "Jade-"

"WHY ARE WE HERE!?"

"TO FREE HIM AND LURE A CREATURE WITH THE THREE WOMEN!!" Splinter yelled.

"Wait what the hell!?" Sendra screamed.

"Ahh…they must be talking about "buitestander"" Gritha laughed.

"Wait, the outsider!? Wait! You people…are trying to feed us to that damn-"

"Calm down, Sendra. That man still needs us."

"No! Gritha, don't you get it? These people are trying to kill us!"

"HEY, WE JUST FOLLOW ORDERS! WE HAVE NOTHING AGAINST YOU THREE!" Dora yelled.

"OH THAT IS SOME BULLSHIT!"

"FROST, OUR LEADER DID NOT KILL ANYONE!"

"Jade, I need you to calm down!"

"YOU GUYS ARE TRYING TO SUMMON A CREATURE NON OF YOU CAN BEAT!"

"EVERYONE CALM THE FUCK DOWN!"

"YOU LIED TO ME! ADISA WAS YOUR LEADER!?"

"Adisa killed,Nzinga,Jade."

"YOU SHUT UP! HE'S BEEN WITH US ALL THESE YEARS!"

"CAN YOU ALL SHUT UP!"

"FUCK YOU!"

Everyone argued amongst each other as Frost stopped and took a few steps away from Jade and the group. "It looks like…your little hero has arrived." Frost said as he tapped his foot on the ground and froze the entire area.

Adisa emerged from the darkness. Everyone fell into silence and turned their heads. "Gritha, Sendra, and Alicia…I used you three to attract the creature. It will be here shortly. But I have no intent on killing you. You three are part of my group now." Adisa said. "And Frost…I'm doing my best to control my emotions right now. Your lucky…my crew is here. Otherwise I'd rip your damn head off!" Adisa threatened. "And don't accuse me of killing that bitch."

"Is that so?" Frost noticed a spike of energy coming from the sky. "Next time we meet…it'll be a fight to the death, understand? The island will know your back to." Frost said as he clapped his hands.

Still…where did Charlie run off to? Frost thought as he disappeared.

A yellow lighting strike hit the ground behind Adisa.

The wind stopped blowing and everything fell into silence. Adisa felt a surge of power coming from the strike. Adisa turned around and was face to face with bright yellow eyes.

"Hello there, Mythical beast slayer." Adisa scuffed.
