Rebuilding,cleaning, and judgment.

The next day was now here.

It was getting dark from all the cleaning, and everyone was putting all of the dead bodies in a pile at the fire clan.

Jerome took each body one by one and threw it into the pile.

"Jerome be gentle with them." Xavier yelled across the field.

Adisa and Frost put Blaze's body at the very top of the pile.

"Do we really have to burn them?" Adisa asked.

Udo looked over his shoulder. "Yes we do." He responded.

"In their beliefs, if you burn the body after death, your spirit is free." Udo explained.

All five of the boys surrounded the pile of bodies.

Frost grabbed a torch and lit it on fire.

He threw it on the pile and watched as it started pressing on the dead corpse.

"Time to go home." Udo said.

Udo jumped on his horse and headed back to their clan.

Jerome followed Udo's lead quickly.

It was just Frost and Adisa now, sitting at the fire.

"He must have had a big effect on you for you to cry like that." Frost mentioned.

Adisa looked at the ground with disbelief in his eyes.

"Yea." He responded.

Summer came from cleaning and sat down with the both of them.

There was a moment of silence until Adisa decided to speak.

"I just wish we all could have been there to help him. It's crazy to believe that a single man killed a whole blood line or people." Adisa said.

Frost and Summer nodded in agreement.

"Oh. I meant to ask you guys, but what happened to Dante?" Frost asked.

"Me and Adisa killed him." Summer said.

Frost couldn't believe what he heard. "You guys killed a captain??" Frost asked in disbelief.

Adisa and Summer didn't have any expressions on their faces. They weren't happy at all.

Frost fixed his face and looked serious again.

"Udo was wondering what happens to him. After the army decided to run off after Blaze." Frost said.

"But we couldn't find him. Captain will be pleased to hear that you got rid of the enemy." Frost said.

Adisa turned his attention to Summer.

"Hey Summer. Where is Jade?" Adisa questioned.

"Oh, she's back at your clan in prison right now." Summer said.

"Oh, ok then." Adisa said.

"But we know she has to be judged by your captain later tonight." Summer said.

Adisa nodded his head.

"Her clan will come looking for her probably tomorrow also." Frost said.

"Yea…same thing for Dante's clan." Adisa added on.

"It's gonna be hard to tell them but…they'll need to find a new ruler now. This will also most likely have them attack on in the future." Adisa said.

Summer got up and headed towards Adisa's horse.

She started petting it. The horse started sniffing her hair and licking it.

Summer let out a giggle. "Hahaha. That tickles." She said while laughing.

Frost looked at Adisa and then back at Summer.

"Hey Adisa….you she your-don't even say it." Adisa cut Frost off.

Frost through his hands in the air.

"Well if you say so then so be it." Frost said.

"We need to hurry and get and get back. Captain is about to start the judgment." Frost said.

Frost got on his horse quickly and hurried Adisa to hurry up.

Adisa took one finale look at Blaze's body. "Rest easy." He said.

Adisa jumped on his horse and was about to take off until he noticed Summer trying to jump on.

"Hey,hey,hey, can't you just teleport us or yourself over there?" Frost asked in a mocking way.

Summer's face turned a little red.

"I-I'm out of energy…..yea." She said hesitantly.

Frost rolled his eyes and headed towards the clan.

Adisa held out his hand to try and help Summer get on his horse.

Summer smiled and grabbed his hand tight. Adisa pulled her up.

"Make sure you hold on tight." Adisa said to her.

Summer wrapped her arms around Adisa's stomach.

The horse took off. Summer could feel the heavy wind hitting her in the face.

Not long passed as they were already at the clan.

When Adisa arrived, Frost was already getting off of his horse.

Both Adisa and summer hoped off and tied up the horse.

When Adisa opened up the giant gate, he could see a large amount of people in the center of the clan.

There was a little stage built with Udo and Jade on it.

Jade was tied up, next to Udo.

Summer and Adisa both stood in the crowd of people and watched.

"We are gathered here today to discuss this girls actions." Udo said.

"As leader of the Kani clan, at the end of this it's my choice. I'm just here to hear your opinions." Udo yelled out.

"Everyone,One at a time, give your vote death or live and explain why." Udo said.

A man raised his hand in the crowd.

Udo pointed at him.

"I vote death. And the reason is because my little girl was killed by her….she was so young." The man said.

"I vote death too." A women yelled out.

"I lost my whole family because of that girl." Another person yelled out.

"Half of our clan is destroyed. We need to kill her now."

"I had to bury my son today."

"My wife and children are dead, damn it."

The crowd started to share their loses and let out their anger.

"I want my mommy and daddy."

"Where's my husband?"

Udo snapped his fingers and everyone halted their words.

"I know how you all feel. But this young girl was manipulated by the real enemy. It's not all her fault." Udo explained.

The crowd had angry looks on their faces.

"This girl is the daughter of the old leader of the blind clan. She's their leader now." Udo said.

"If we were to kill her. What do you guys think her brother will do?"

"And besides, we need to rebuild. I know some of you had to bury someone you loved yesterday."

"I spent today burying a whole clan." Udo said.

"I don't want my clan to fight anyone right now. So killing this girl is not allowed, I just wanted to see your thoughts and opinions." He shared with the crowd.

The crowd fell into silence and listened well to their leader.

"I've spoken to this girls brother. He's now the leader of the blind clan. And everyone that was with her plan is dead now." Udo said.

"You all aren't the only ones that lost people,all because of her actions. I had to kill kids two days ago because of her."

"From what I know, her brother has calmed everything down and has the people not wanting war." Udo claimed.

"For the mean time, he gave me permission to keep his sister under our watch until further notice. So with that being said…" Udo started walking towards Jade with his sword out.

Jade was tied up with thick rope around her arms.

Udo quickly cut off the rope and picked her up to her feet.

"All of you don't worry, we had someone drain her of her energy. So she can't attack you as of now." Udo explained to the crowd.

"Starting today this girl will be the new member of the troops." Udo stated

The crowd started booing. They were displeased with what Udo was saying.

Jade the whole time just looked in disbelief at what Udo was saying.

"All of you are booing but yet your being ungrateful and not thinking."

"If we were to kill her. Her brother would start another fight and more people would die. Including you all." Udo yelled out.

"Keep peace and live for the ones you lost today."

The crowd fell silent and still, not saying a word.

"We're done here." Udo said.

"For all the kids that don't know were their parents are….come with me." Udo yelled to the crowd.

Everyone started leaving and going in their homes while thirty or more kids were still outside.

Udo walked Jade off the stage and put her in front of him.

"This here is Jade. She's not much of a talker right now, but she's going to show you were you all will be staying for the time being."

All the kids smiled and started jumping with joy.

Jade looked down at the ground in disappointment.

Udo began walking towards his own building. Jade and the kids followed close by.

On the first floor, Udo opened a door that was on the floor.

It was a basement.

Udo glared at Jade. "Guide them done there and help them with there beds. Oh and if you try to run….I'll catch you." Udo warned her.

Jade said nothing but had a serious look in her eyes while face to face with Udo.

"Cmon kids." Jade said with a forced smile on her face.

All the kids went down the ladder and into the dark basement. Jade was the last to go down the ladder.

When she entered,the kids were already jumping on their beds choosing where to sleep for the night.

Jade started helping them choose where they were sleeping. Jade stopped when she heard a kid ask,"when is my mom and dad coming home miss?".

Jade kept looking down at the floor.

"They'll be back soon." She said.

After getting all the kids tucked in bed, they all fell asleep.

After they fell asleep Jade climbed up the ladder to see Udo sitting there in a chair.

Jade started walking towards the door.

"Where the hell are you going?" Udo said.

Jade stopped and turned around. Udo could see tears falling from her eyes.

"Why the hell didn't you just kill me? Why would you let me live with all that stuck in my head?" She asked in a frantic way.

Udo stood up out of his chair. "If you want me to be honest. I would live to rip your head off. But you deserve to live with what you did." Udo said in a dramatic tone.

Jade had anger in her eyes. She leaped at Udo with her little glove gadget, that looked like claws.

Udo grabbed her wrist and twisted her arm.

"You need to take accountability for your actions Jade. It's not right that you don't wanna accept what you did and these kids are gonna grow up without parents, they'll accept that themselves." Udo explained.

"You and them share that same pain right now. And always will."

Jade fell to the ground.

"You don't think that I regret doing what I did? I thought you guys were the enemy damn it." Jade had regret in her eyes.

"A little birdie told me she told you we weren't the ones who killed your father." Udo said in a scolding tone.

"I-I didn't believe her. I thought she was protecting him." Jade said.

Udo looked at her with curiosity.

"You talking about Adisa?" Udo asked.

"Yea…" Jade responded.

"You've heard from the queen what he is right?" Jade questioned.

"Oh I know from myself. I was the one who got him off the air ship that night." Udo said.

"I know he doesn't know about the queen and Summer's plan though." Jade thought to herself.

"I see." Jade said.

Udo grabbed a chair and put it in front of Jade.

"Take a seat. Everyone else is in bed anyways. It's 12am." Udo said.

Jade took a seat. Both of them were sitting face to face now.

"I remember your father sitting beside me when Adisa arrived."

Jade's eyes opened in surprise.

"Hahaha. I remember him holding you in his arms tight. I was proud of him. He was a great man." Udo said.

Jade nodded her head in agreement.

"There's no need to hold back your pain. I know it's not your fault completely. We all make mistakes." Udo said.

"We all wish we had people in our lives still or we could take back what we did."

Udo patted Jade on her shoulder. "Cheer up. You will get along just fine with your new team."

Jade looked at Udo in disbelief.

"You still accept me? Even after I killed so many people?" Jade asked.

Udo said nothing. He just smiled.

"It's ok Jade." He said.

"But I do have a question about this new group." Udo said.

Jade focused hard into Udo's eyes.

"What's their goal and where are they located?" Udo asked.

"There Goal is to get rid of the outside….by that I mean the people that put our ancestors on this damn island with the bad people. And they need Adisa to do that." Jade said.

"Why do they need Adisa?" Udo asked.

"Are you serious? You know what he is just as I do. If they can get their hands on Adisa then they will have all the power they need to while us out." Jade said.

"You haven't told Adisa the truth about his past have you? About why the shit REALLY put him here." Jade asked.

"I'll tell him soon enough. Besides it's not like if we know he can control it or not." Udo said.

Jade had a disappointed look on her face.

"Summer has been teaching him a way to activate part of his powers." Jade said.

"Wait what?"

"It's already begun. If he takes it seriously then one day….he might be a problem." Jade said.

"I say that because during our fight it wasn't him…or it was but he wasn't there. He had no control." Jade said.

"He gained control at the last second when he could have killed me." Jade said.

"I see." Udo said in a bland way.

"I'll talk to Summer tomorrow about it. Now then. What is the name of this group?" Udo asked.

The kuzaliwa upya clan." Jade said.

Udo started to play with his chin hair.

"Sounds intimating." Udo said.

"They are no joke. Everyone is from different clans and is very strong. We have three leaders in total. At least while I was part of them, I don't know about now tho." Jade explained.

"Each leader has there own soldiers right warriors. Some of the warriors might lead there own armies or whatever."

"The only clan leaders that I know that were in the clan were me and Dante. That's all. I've never met the higher ups." Jade said.

"Jack is the weakest division leader. So the rest are crazy. Even there warriors could probably kill Jack." Jade said.

Udo was writing everything Jade was saying down on a pice of paper.

"But Udo….do you know about-well never mind."

"No. Go ahead and say it. I'm just taking notes at this point." Udo claimed.

Jade hesitated to speak.

Udo shut his eyes a little more to look closer. He could see she didn't wanna talk about it.

"Well….we can talk more about it tomorrow." Udo said.

"No. It's just that. I know where the clan will strike next." Jade said.

Udo was very alert now.

"Where? And what are they after?" He demanded.

"Jack was assigning us to that mission along with two others. You know the three power families?" Jade asked.

"How couldn't I?" Udo said in a blunt way.

Jade could see Udo balling up his fist in anger.

"Yea well…they plan on kidnapping one of the residents from the trots family. They want to use them and kidnap them so the family will do anything in its power to get them back." Jade said.

"By anything…I mean that they plan on having the family fight for them in their plan." Jade said.

"But how the hell would they even kidnap him or her? The families on the island are very powerful. They don't even need security but they are still heavily guarded." Udo explained in a convincing way.

"That's the thing. Jack had me,Dante,and two others fighting under him. Jack told me that the other two were very strong."

"It's not like the clan is weak. I'm pretty sure there is a plan set for these two now." Jade said.

"You've never met these two before?" Udo asked.

Jade shook her head.

"And where is the Trost family going?"

Jade gulped.

"There going to the city of goud." Jade said.

Udo stared in disbelief. "The city of goud?" The city where the population of people are mostly not ours? Where most of the bad people go?" Udo asked.

Jade nodded her head.

"Thats a very dangerous city. It is very beautiful though, almost looks like some futuristic place. Thousands of skyscrapers,lots of buildings,clubs,hotels,restaurants,ect." Udo explained.

"Lots of things the cons don't have."

"When do they plan on making the move their?" Udo asked Jade.

"The last time I received word about it was last week. So that means in two weeks they will make their way there, then it's going to take about a week to get there…but that depends if we have a base already there." Jade said.

Udo moved his pencil rapidly around his paper.

"Interesting…" Udo said.

"Well,We will talk more tomorrow Jade. I'm getting tired." Udo said.

"You should get some rest also." Udo suggested.

Udo walked up the steps but was cut off by Jade talking again.

"What if I run away?" Jade asked.

Udo looked back and started laughing.

"Your not that stupid. And plus, you act like your father."

Jade laughed a little bit. "Goodnight Udo." She said.

Jade opened the door to the basement and disappeared into the darkness.

"Goodnight kid." Udo said.
