"Lucien, we need to talk," Cassius said suddenly, his voice unusually serious.
Lucien, who had just stood up, hesitated before sitting back down. There was a weight in his father's tone that caught his attention, and to his surprise, the system chimed in with a notification:
[Cassius's Companion Quest initiated.]
[Cassius wants to discuss a serious matter with you. Follow him, and you may uncover an interesting story.]
'An interesting story? Does that mean... his past?' he thought, intrigued.
It never crossed his mind that he would receive a quest related to his father, though he wondered if the quest appeared simply because Cassius was planning to share something from his past regardless.
"What is it, Dad?" he asked, curiosity tinged with concern.
"Let's go somewhere more private," Cassius replied, rising from his seat and gesturing for Lucien to follow.
