Taking the gift I made for her and feeling terrible about it...

As I wake up, I'm being strangled by Tsubaki again, wiggling so I have room to breathe, Tsubaki seems to wake up too. "Tsubaki, please, you're smothering me." She starts smothering me some more, not being able to breathe, I start tickling her, "Hahahaha alright alright stop!" She finally let's me go.

After getting free, I ask "Tsubaki, were you careful handling the sword?" As I finish saying this, I see something I haven't seen before. I see red and orange energy coming off Tsubaki like a flame, flickering around, as I reach out with my right hand towards Tsubaki.

I see my own hand, looking down at the rest of myself, the energy coming from me, Has a constant flow filling the whole room, a slightly darker shade of sky blue. Bringing my right hand back, I face my palm up, and make a small flame, the energy around me is slightly pulled towards my hand.

The feeling of my mana in my body becomes more pronounced, as I feel it flowing, I start feeling the energy around me more. This energy seems to be mana, as I'm about to explore it further, Tsubaki speaks, "Sara, are you listening?" "Oh! I'm sorry, I got distracted by something."

"Okay? So, as I was saying, what did you do to the sword, it cuts through stuff like nothing was there." "Right, I made a magic circle for the engraving, but I wouldn't have been able to write it on the sword, so I made it into spell lines."

"The 1st line was for indestructibility, having 2 ways to make it unbreakable was the aim, the 2nd line was for sharpness, I wanted it to be the very sharp." "Okay, that's 2 lines, and the other 2?" "The 3rd line was for impact resistance, I wanted you to be able to block attacks with it."

"And the 4th line was for sharpness again, but written differently to make it the sharpest sword. The problem was, how after the 1st line with the Durandal property combined, the 2nd and 4th line would have made the sword fragile."

"The 1st line was supposed to make it, be able to handle the 2nd and 4th, but because

"So, what you're saying is?" "Because you made such a great sword, the lines I put on it, combined to make the sword able cut anything, even things with the Durandal property." "You know this sword is too dangerous, right?"

"Yes, that's why now that I'm awake, we need to make a scabbard for it, one that won't be cut by the sword." "Then we need to get to work." "Yes let's, I've already prepared something, though I wasn't thinking I'd use it so soon."

We got to work on the ingot I prepared, with the new ability to see mana, I was able to see if there was a problem with any of the engravings. Putting a second engraving for hardness on the ingot before we start, Tsubaki works hard making the scabbard.

She will Imbue it with the Durandal property again, which she's doing that, I start making spell lines for 4 different types of damage resistance. Indestructibility, slash resistance, impact resistance, and hardness.

Once I finish my work, I teleport to the dungeon, once here I kill Amphisbaena, get it's crystal and head to the 37th floor. I hunt as many monsters as I could in the span of 2 hours, hoping the crystals will be enough, I run to the 27th floor and teleport to the surface from my waypoint.

Sprinting back to Tsubaki's forge, I drink a magic potion, as I arrive Tsubaki is waiting, pulling out all the crystals I get to writing. As I'm writing the lines, the mana around me seems to respond to my feelings, I'm nervous about what this sword could do, if it fell into the wrong hands.

Not knowing what this meant, I continued, as I finish the lines, Tsubaki finished putting the sword together. Once we both finished, the sword and scabbard started floating into the air, and come together, I hadn't done this, and start trying to pull the sword back to me with mana.

As I'm pulling at it, there was some resistance, using more mana it, it felt like whatever was gripping it let go. Suddenly, as it came towards me, the sword and myself start glowing a bright blue as mana flares around us, the sword slams into me, but instead of being sent flying, the sword slowly melds into me.

Once it was done, the blinding blue light disappears, speaking my surprise, "Tsubaki?" The sword comes back out of me. "What the hell is happening!?" "I don't know, I have no idea what's happening Tsubaki?" After I say Tsubaki the sword goes back inside me.

"What the hell! What's going on!" "Tsubaki I'm starting to get scared!" Again the sword comes out of me when I said Tsubaki, feeling stunned about the whole thing, I look at the sword and slowly say Tsubaki. Once I said her name, the sword comes back into me.

"I have no idea what the hell is happening." After saying Tsubaki a few more times, I felt like I should open my status.

I finish speaking and the sword comes out, "Tsubaki, I'm going to call you big sisters from now on..." and the sword comes back in.

"While I was writing the spell lines on the scabbard, I was feeling incredibly nervous, about what could happen, if it fell into the wrong hands, and the mana seemed to respond to my feelings. But after everything was complete, and the sword started floating, I tried to pull it to me with my mana, but it felt like something was trying to take it away."

"I started using more mana, and whatever was trying to take it, let go. Here's what I think caused the sword to fuse with me, because the sword was so steeped in my mana, that when the sword hit me, it became a part of me." "Well, at least it won't end up in the wrong hands."

"Well, I have time to listen." "Ok." Walking over to the bed, I expose my back and lay down, mother walks over and sits next to me on the bed. "Mother, I got a skill, and it increased my sensitivity to mana, while also allowing me to see mana."

"That sounds like a good thing sweetie." "Yes, but because of it, I ended up taking the sword we were making, it was supposed to be a gift for big sister, I can't even say her name without the sword coming out." "How did you take it?"

"First, the sword itself, I went overboard with the engraving, it became a sword that's too sharp, the strongest armor wouldn't be able to block it. Because of that, we made a scabbard that the sword won't cut, but that's when a problem happened, while engraving the scabbard."

"I started feeling incredibly nervous, thoughts like, what if something goes wrong and it falls into the wrong hands, what would happen. As I finished the engraving, the scabbard and the sword started floating, the sword sheathed itself, but the mana around it started to fluctuate."

"Thinking something bad was happening, I controlled mana to grab it, as I was pulling it towards myself, it felt like something was trying to take it. I used a lot more mana to pull it towards me, whatever was trying to take it let go, and the sword came flying at me, when it hit me, I was expecting to be knocked back."

"But the sword started melding into me, the first thing I said after that was big sister's name, whenever I say her name, the sword comes out. I checked my system after, and the sword has become a part of me, but it was supposed to be a gift to her, and I've taken it."
