Chapter Fifty Three

Queen Gloria locked away Alice magic for the main time as a form of punishment.

Alice went to her room filled with anger.Now she can't proceed with the work at hand in the black market because of her locked powers.

She will now need to wait for the penalty period to pass.Even though she couldn't go to the black market for the main time,but at least she became recognized by the vampire prince,she consoled herself.

All she have left now is to look for opportunities and plan for ways to make him hers.If he is not hers now,he will be later when the human he is marrying now dies or when he kills her for some reason known to him because she is sure that Ephraim will not be able to cope with loving and living with a human,she doesn't really care.

Alice continue with her crazy thoughts of having the first vampire prince.She have nothing to do for the main time because now she is just an ordinary human so there's nothing she can help with in the magical realm.

Queen Gloria in her room ate happily the food cooked for her because her mind is at rest that her baby is safe.Roith is with her now,no witch either rogue or normal can harm her lovely daughter.

She had chosen Alice as her witch student because she looks like her baby.All the care,attention and love she hadn't be opportuned to give her baby since she left her with her father eight years ago because of the magical kingdom was spent on her apprentice.

If she had knew that the ten year old child she picked up in the human kingdom that night when she left will turn out like this she wouldn't have pitied her because she looked like the daughter she left.She had been in an emotional frenzy that time when she saw the young witch looking unkempt and her mother instincts took over.She smiled as she reminisce the pasts and how she started the queen ship she left behind.

Damon informed the soldiers to pick up their work pace and mission pace because they will be leaving soon.

The soldiers immediately did as commanded without forgetting to load the witch blood they got from the blood store.They loaded extra because they heard that the prince will be drinking indirectly like them also because he will be getting married.It will damage his relationship when his wife will hear about how he feed and satiate his hunger.

When evening came,Ephraim went to sit on his horse that is already on standby because of their departure his soldiers and aide immediately sat down and they rode away with him after Damon had bid the innkeeper good bye.

They entered into the vampire kingdom at dawn.It can be considered as the fastest journey they have ever embarked on ever since they have been going to the black market for the prince business.The journey to the black market normally takes a day from the vampire kingdom to the black market by horse but they rode their horse following after the crazy pace of their prince horse.Their prince rode faster than normal because he wants to get home early.

Butler Kream opened the gate for them when they got nearer because from his room he had been hearing the sound their horses were making because of the speed they are coming with.

"Welcome back your highness" Butler Kream greeted him when he got down from his horse.

"Thank you.I have told you to always call me by my name,you are like a father to me" Ephraim said to him as the butler collected his horse rein while he acted as if he didn't hear him.

"The lady of the house is still sleeping in your room" Butler Kream immediately said when he saw him open his mouth to talk and he smiled at him because he guessed what he wants to ask about.

The soldiers and Damon went along to put their horses in their shed while Ephraim went straight to his room.

He didn't even bother himself with using his magic because he wanted to calm his happy heart that is getting excited because he will be seeing Euphorial,he patiently took the stairs to his room and he nodded in acknowledgement at the working maids who greeted him when they saw him on his way to his room.

Ephraim opened the door to his room and he breathed in relief when he was greeted by the calming scent of his Euphy.He looked at her sleeping figure and he sighed when he saw the thin gown she wore to sleep,it was a transparent one.He quickly went to cover her up with his blanket before he went to the bathroom to clean up before sleeping beside the sleeping Euphorial.
