CHAPTER 74

Y/N'S POV

I didn't think twice and as soon as I got to the hotel, I got into bed ready to fall asleep after so long. Also Enid was with me, so everything looked like I was going to have the best rest ever. And in fact it was like that, I slept all night without interruptions and in peace, without night escapes or wrecking around the city. -Y/N: - Enid walked away leaving me wanting more - Why are you stopping?

- Enid: Because... This girl is staring at us - she pointed with her head towards the redhead.

-Y/N: - I rolled my eyes - Enid, the asshole standing here is Sadie Sink.

- Sadie: Y/N, welcome to the world of the living! - she laughed - It's been a long time since I've seen you so lively - she looked at Enid - By the way, a pleasure - she extended her hand to Enid and they shook it.

Sadie kept us company while we were getting ready to go down to the hotel dining room and have breakfast with the rest of the class, I was looking forward to seeing my cousin and the others to thank them for the help during so many nights. When we arrived at the dining room, the first thing we met was Mr. Sink who sighed with relief to see that I had returned to normal. We made our way through the students and found Brooke, Maddie and Wednesday queuing up with their trays to be served at the buffet. The last two were intertwining their pinkies, it reminded me of how Enid and I were in the beginning.

-Enid: History is repeating itself - she said observing the same as me.

-Y/N: Yes, and we both know how it ends - I smiled intertwining my hand with Enid's - Shall we go? As the gossip queen that you are, you need to catch up on what's going on at my high school too. The exclusive for your next entry in the vlog should be something like "Wednesday Addams meets love with hot blonde from New Jersey" - I joked.

-Sadie: I would read it - she supported me - and then you would have to make an entry with "Redhead hearthrob manages to conquer Millie Bobby Brown's hottie" - she said fantasizing.

- Y/N: Nah, Enid only speaks truths.

-Enid: Well, it will be a truth if Sadie really conquers her - she smiled - You have our support, I will cover the notice myself when you get it.

We walked over to the table where Brooke, Maddie and Wednesday sat and joined them for breakfast. Wednesday as soon as she saw me stood up for a few moments looking me up and down, I didn't know what was going through her head at that moment so I didn't dare to speak. I was about to sit down to see that neither of us made any gesture of pronouncing a word, when Wedns took me by the sleeve of my sweater and pulled me towards her to hug me.

It was a strange and disgusting situation that made me disgusted and happy in equal parts, we had never had contact in that way. In fact it was officially the first hug we had ever had, it didn't last long but it was significant considering how we were the Addams.

There was silence at the table because things between Brooke and Enid were still quite tense since the last time they saw each other in the forest clearing in Jericho.
