Chapter 1. Reborn

The bloody-rain pouring heavily. The sky is thunderous with a explode sound every time the lightning light flash the world from time to time.

In certain place under the tree. There are two men in a black suit. One of the men who have short black hair is laying on the ground. The other one has yellowish hair and a handgun on his hand. Moreover, the handgun was pointed to the black-haired man on the ground.

"Why you betrayed me? Why! You mother fucker!"Xeols used all his strength to shout at the yellowish hair man. He holds his bloody stomach with his left hand while pointed the man with his index finger of the right hand.

"Why? Did you ask me why? Of course, it all about money! You dumbest! Money changes everything and It's changed me too, you know? Our boss asked you to divorce your wife before you hand over her to him. In return, you will get a billion of money. What you did and what just you did? You repeatedly refuse him! Now, he decided to kill you before take your wife by force. I already told you repeatedly that women can be found and big money hard to come by. Now what! You soon meet death. Don't blame me for this since you the one choose this path." The yellowish hair man told Xeols the truth.

The man with yellowish hair said before fetching a shovel from the luxury car where it parks at the side of the road. As soon as he dug a rectangular hole on the ground. He immediately places Xeols's corpse to the dug hole and covers it with wet soil along with mud. After finished what he started, he immediately entered his car before driving it to go away from the scene with the fastest speed of the car.

The tree root repeatedly takes Xeols's corpse as its nutrients before repeatedly evolve itself. It accidentally consumes a strong will of consciousness along with the nutrients. The tree wanted to refuse the strong will of consciousness but soon it was taken over by the consciousness will. Before it starts to continue to absorb the world essence and the bloody rain as its nutrients.

One day passed and the bloody-rain had just stopped. The bright sky turns normal and the sunshine brightly shines the world. The tree where Xeols's corpse buried at becomes lively. The tree produces a green aura all around it.

In the second days, the world becomes chaotic. The people that showered by the bloody-rain turn to living dead. Moreover, the living dead can turn other people to living dead by wounding the people. On this day, the tree becomes the more lively and humanoid-like body.

The third day passed and the mutant beasts make its appearance to the world. The monster becomes more rampant in the world. Humanity falls from the food pyramid and becomes the easy prey to the monster. The day of awakening has come. The tree finally opened its eyes. The tree shook the earth ground and finally pull its leg from the earth.

The tree stands with mighty vigour and it has over 10 meters of height. It has a human-like expression on its tree face which currently frowning. Its green eyes look at its body with bewilderment. The tree scratches its head with its both branch in surprised.

"Wrrr harr" The rough voice come out from its mouth-like tree. The tree exclaimed when it's only can produce a ghastly voice.

(What happened to me? Am I reborn as a tree?) Xeols thought to himself. Xeols also recalled what happened to him before his death.

(That right! That bastard must bury me under the tree. That day I died is very strange. The world rain with blood. Maybe that phenomena and the bloody rain gave me a chance to reborn. Well, so be it. Now, I need to protect my wife from that prick boss.) Xeols thought before a worry expression shown vividly to the world. He was extremely worried and scared about what will happen to his wife.

There a luxury car who had an accident by running into the iron lamp pole. The luxury car was the exact car who the yellowish hair man use in a few days ago.

(Woah. The hell! You bastard are still alive even though you in this condition! What a high endurance. Eh, why do I feel different? No, this bastard the one different!) Xeols surprised by the person inside it.

The yellowish hair man has a ruined and pale face. The whole body was bloody and stinks. Moreover, the blackish sharp teeth and nail make it more ghastly to be looked at. Lastly, the person inside it was still living.

(It's good! It's good! I can use you as my sagged bag too. I wonder how stronger I become. It should stronger than your puny body. Haha!) Xeols become excited when he thought about taking revenge the man inside the car.

(Why this bastard not coming out! Is he in pain? Let me help him out of the car. Eh!) After waiting for a while Xeols decided to help him out. He immediately uses his tree right hand too forcefully tore open the car's roof.

"Roar roar roar" The man inside the car immediately roars madly after got disturbed.

(Eh? Why the bastard roar like an insane man? Lets me take you out.) Xeols immediately use his hand and grab the man whole body.

"Roar roar roar!" The man keeping roar loudly with bloody mouth tore open.

"Hmm"

(Hmm, I do think you so different! So you evolve yourself! You are a zombie in the movie. Damn, I doom!) Xeols closely lift the man near his eyes before he observes it carefully. He immediately grips his hand strongly without letting it go while blackish blood squished out from its body.

"Roar! Roar! Roar!"

(Damn, so much wound still alive. My revenge won't end here. I take off your limb one by one!) Xeols recalled that the man did to him.

He immediately endures his fear and starts to take revenge. Xeols tears the zombie's limb one by one and finally left behind his head intact with his stomach.

"Harr Harr"

(Damn, so all the zombie movie is true! The zombie won't die without destroying its head! That piece of cake. Haha!) Xeols produces a grim smile before using its tree-like thump squished the zombie head to bloody pieces.

(Finally, settle my revenge. Time to rescue my wife. I hope she was alright.)Xeols start to run over its huge body without caring any about people discovering him anymore. Since he knows that the world already chances to something different than before.

The over 10 meters of tree running in full speed was faster than the speed of the faster car. His speed reaches 500 kilometres per hour.

It's taken him little more than 10 minutes for him to reach his destination where his house is. He knows his wife won't recognise him but he swore to protect his wife no matter what the cost.

There a lot of zombies wandering around his home surrounding. He immediately kicks most of it to clear his path. Before he starts looking at each of the house windows.

Sure enough, he heard a small sobbing sound on the second floor of his house. There a woman with golden hair inside his rooms. The human curled like a shrimp while muttered calling him.

"Hubby, 'sob sob' where are you. I'm scared, please coming back." Lucy cries till her eyes were red. She hugs the fatty silvery cat into her embraces while calling her husband to back.

Xeols's who heard the cry and call of his wife about hoping her husband to coming back home become saddened.

(My wife dearest, I'm home! I am sorry for not coming home early. Please forgive me, okay.) Xeols looked at his wife through the room's window.

"Husband, it's that you! Are you there?" Lucy jolt from the bed before opened the room window after heard the word whispered to her mind.
