36. Idol

Vivian was being dressed up by his mother while he looked at her in confusion. 

Venelana and Grayfia were gushing over him squealing about how adorable he looked. 

Grayfia gazed at her masterpiece in satisfaction while Venelana had an invisible arrow pierce through her heart. 

Both women gazed at Vivian who was clad in a mini tuxedo with a confused expression on his face. 

Grayfia tried her best to hold herself from running over smothering her young master who just looked like the most adorable thing ever.

But some people didn't have the self-control as Grayfia. 

" Kyaa! My Baby is so cute!~ " Venelana squealed like a little girl while she had her face pressed up against Vivian while she held him up and twirled around. Vivian was surprised at first then he started giggling and smiling as Venelana twirled him around.

He was a child who was very easy to satisfy and please, and that just made Venelana want to spoil him more. 

Maybe him becoming a spoilt brat never went through her head as she was confident in raising her child to not end up like an incompetent piece of shit like Zeoticus. 

Zeoticus becoming this much of a trash was more or less attributed to his mother spoiling him and not raising him properly. She disliked her mother-in-law not because of anything but just the fact that she was the mother of such a vile shit was enough reason for her. 

She did try to mediate for her son but she should be happy that Venelana didn't outright slap her, who did she think she was? 

She, an Ultimate class devil was berating a Satan class devil for not sharing a bed with a worthless high class devil. 

Chysis Gremory better thank the luck that her ancestors accumulated because, on that particular day, Venelana was in a good mood so she didn't beat the shit out of her. 

Because she Venelana was not above beating up the elderly. Venelana disliked the Gremory family as a whole because of just Zeoticus, because as they say it only takes one rotten apple to spoil the rest of them. 

But that does not mean she will not get her due, her grandaughter Alicia will be getting her inheritance. 

Sirzechs may be an idiot and too much of Siscon to even forget about his daughter but she would not let her grandaughter be treated like that. 

If Rias wasn't willing to be the heir then there would only be Alicia remaining unless Zeoticus had any other bastards. 

But that would mean he would rather make a bastard an heir than his own son's child. 

She had a lot of plans that she had been planning, among them were her latest plans for her little baby to be the next ruler of devil kind. 

Naturally, she wanted the best for her baby, she wished Vivian would be excellent but also wouldn't force him, she was happy as long he would be healthy and living a happy life. 

Because that was far more important to her than anything....

Grayfia helplessly smiled as she gazed at Venelena who was rubbing her face against Vivian while laughing like a little girl. 

" My Lady you are messing up Vivi-sama's hair " Grayfia said with a helpless sigh as she walked towards Vivian who was held by a surprised Venelana who had a wry smile on her face. 

"Tehee~" Venelana just tried to act cute causing Grayfia to pinch the bridge of her nose in exasperation. 

Why did her mature Onee-sama act like a child 70% of the time, where was the majesty and gracefulness of the strongest woman in the underworld?

She could still remember the image she had conjured about Venelana when she had decided to become her queen. To say that she was a fan girl was not an exaggeration, she grew up listening to the legends of the Princess of the Bael clan who made a name for herself on the battlefield. 

Born to a mere commoner devil she rose to her current position as a role model for all female devils. Any female devil who had a shred of pride and dignity and valued strength would respect Venelana and take her as their idol. 

So Grayfia had conjured up a mental image of Venelana of how she would be like if she met her, Cold, majestic, powerful, graceful, prideful. 

Venelana didn't disappoint her as she was exactly like how she imagined but she was also kind to the people she trusted, after spending more time with Venlana after joining her peerage and becoming her only peerage Grayfia felt like her whole worldview was shattered. 

Grayfia felt like she was scammed, her new master was unlike anything she showed on the outside. She understood that all of the characteristics Venealan showed outside were a facade or merely a mask she used to deal with others.

The Venelana she came to know was much more carefree and a little bit childish, Grayfia didn't hate it on the contrary deep down she liked this revelation a lot and the fact that Venelana could behave like this around her meant she trusted her a lot. It was just the shock form the idol image in her heart being shattered.

And this made Grayfia adore Venelana from the bottom of her heart, her loyalty and love went through the roof because she who didn't have any family remaining ( she thinks her brother is dead ) saw Venelana as a big sister whom she could rely on....
