Chapter 1

~Mina Reyes~

I woke up to a mind splitting headache as flashes of drinking the night before surges through my still pulsing head. Lifting my arms and sitting upright while trying my best not to puke, I sat against the couch as I looked around and found I was still at the house party in some strangers house.

'Way to go drinking at a strangers party again, Mina.' I sarcastically quipped while standing up and fining my pink top was still in place and my leather skirt along with my garter belt remained intact. 'At least I didn't cross the uncrossable. Haaa, still a virgin: check.'

While running my hands through my short brown hair, I stood up and looked for my purse before spotting it underneath a passed out white dude. With the better part of my trembling leg strength, I managed to push the guy off and retrieved my purse as I then reached inside and sighed in relief as everything was still there.

Taking out a pair of pink-trimmed sunglasses, I then walked slowly toward the slightly ajar front door and then raised my brow as there were also passed out people on the lawn and with them, a small roughed up silver beetle.

Blinking, I then walked across the grass while carrying my heels and tiptoeing along the sidewalk.

As I left, I soon got a call from my parents and cleared my throat as I then swung my hair and answered the call.

"Hi, mom!" Almost instantly-

{"You No-good drunkard, why did you take so long to pick up the phone! Whose house are enough in, huh!?"} I rest my smartphone away from my ear and wait for her to finish until I can speak.

"I'm at work and-"

{"WORK!? Hahaha!!"} She laughed for a solid minute before calming down and then suddenly dropping a bomb. {"Hurry up and get your slutty ass back home! Your sister is getting married this weekend. For the life of me, I still don't know why she wants to invite you."}

I then paused and froze in place as I then snapped back.

"Lindsay is getting married!?" I shouted into my phone and stood to the side of the road as I arrived at the public bus stop and sat down on the public bench. "Since when?"

{"Haaa, your little sister is getting her holes resided and you are barley finding out she is getting married? Are you even considered family at this point?"} I grumbled but then winced as the tension was getting to me. {"Whatever, come home in the next two days or miss out on your sisters wedding… better yet, don't come and spare everyone the embarrassment."}

The line went dead as I then proceeded to rub my temple with my fingers as I did not expect this while waking up this early in the morning.

The bus was nowhere in sight and I leaned back on the worn blue roof cover as I stared up at the sky.

"What are you doing with your life Mina?" I couldn't help but ask myself that very same question every so often. Mostly when I black out and am on the verge of peak drunkenness.

"Mind if I sit here?" Lifting my gaze, I turned to find a rather pretty woman wearing a long white summer dress along with a light violet shirt as I gave a weak smile and nodded. "Ah, thank you."

The woman took a seat as I could suddenly feel her gaze on my face from right next to me.

"Um, are you alright?" She asked with such concern and kindness in her voice.

"Ye-Hmm! Yes, I am fine." I just spoke with such a rough tone of voice that it felt as if satan was speaking for me.

"Oh…" She said and then we sat in silence as I was surfing through my recent messages and found a 'fired' notice from my gig at the arcade center. "Shit."

I cursed under my breath but the woman next to me gasped and looked at me as if I had stepped on her dog.

"Sorry?" I gave a weak apology before she pouted and gave a soft nod as she turned to face forward. 'This chick is weird.'

{'This woman is odd.'} Lifting my eyes wide, I turned to the woman who dared to call me odd and yet, she only stared at me with a smile. {'Oh goodness, she reeks of alcohol. How unpleasant.'}

'Really?' I scrunched my nose as the woman just stared forward before I then titled my head and turned back to the brunette woman. 'Wait a minute.'

{'Why is she staring at me? Oh, perhaps she fell in a trance with my martial beauty?' I nearly choked as I didn't see the woman's lips love but I could hear her voice speaking to me. {"What is she doing now?'}

'Can… can I hear her thoughts?' I blinked in disbelief as the woman then stood up as the bus had arrived in sight. 'Was it my imagination?'

{'Finally, I can get away from this strange woman.'} The bus soon came to a stop as I let her take the lead and soon, we both boarded the bus. {'Oh no, there is only one set of seats left. I'll have to share it with this woman… though, she is fairly pretty now that I can get a closer look.'}

I blushed briefly as this was begging to feel strange but endearing. After the woman took her seat, I then sat next to her and we then rode in silence though, we did smile when we crossed eyes.

'An I going crazy?'

{'Oh, she smells of citrus. The alcohol is potent but the smell of citrus is nice. She has very good taste.'} I raised my brow and drew a line with my lips as I then put into play a test and started licking my lips seductively all on my own. {'W-What is she doing? Oh, perhaps she is hungry? Ah, the smell of citrus she has on is probably stirring her appetite. Ah, I have a spare apple for her.'}

"Excuse me, are you perhaps hungry?" My eyes shot wide open as she did just as I heard her think and hesitantly took the green apple as she smiled and I looked at her for a little while longer.

{'Oh my, it looks like she was captivated by my good nature. Ah, I am sorry lady, I am a devout follower of the cross. But thank you nonetheless.'} She didn't say it aloud but I was now definitely certain I could read her mind. {'Haaa, I can't wait to get home and use that new vibrator that young girl gave me for my birthday again. Hoho! I'm such a sinful woman.'}

*Cough-Cough* I nearly choked when she thought that and couldn't help but chuckle as I turned to stare at her with a furious blush on my face.

And for some reason, she also blushed in response as her previous thoughts caught up to her and she asked if I was alright.

Blinking, I nodded and turned back but not before turning to look around and find I opulent read no one else's thoughts aside from the woman.

'If this is for real, what should I do exactly?' Confused, I was lost in thought when the woman suddenly stood up as her stop was up ahead. 'Oh no, I'll lose her! Should I ask for her name?'

"Um, excuse me, may I get your name by any chance?" I asked straight up, hopefully she doesn't think I'm trying to pick her up.

{'Oh my lord, this woman is trying to have sex with me!'} I had to do a spit take at hearing that and blushed harder which didn't help with my situation. {'Oh dear, it's true! C-Calm down Victoria, she may be pretty but you mustn't be swayed by such beautiful things. Haaa, she sure is a beauty too. Maybe if she pinned me down somewhere and had her way with me-NoNo! Get your mind out of the gutter, Victoria! Things like that blasphemy don't happen in the real world.

Oh right, I better respond. Ah, I know lying is a sin but I better be careful here. Maybe I'll give her a false name.'}

"Ah! Apologies, my name is… Ann." I deadpanned as I now knew her name was Victoria and not Ann. "Did you need something?"

Looking at her, I then decided to roll with it and leaned closer as I then repeated what she thought earlier in a low whisper.

("'I couldn't help myself but admire such a beautiful woman since I first laid my eyes in you… become mine, my lady.'") I tested out the waters and as I leaned back, Victoria held her ear before bursting into a furious blush that I thought looked cute.

As the bus came to a stop, Victoria soon ran away and I smiled as I followed behind and glanced at my phone as I still had a few hours to kill.

Taking a shortcut, I soon stopped at an narrow alleyway between two old historical buildings when lo' and behold, Victoria.

Pulling her from her wrist in the vacant street, I then pinned her to the wall and then aired as she instantly recognized my face and then blushed even more as she didn't put more effort in escaping.

{'Oh no! Dear Father in heaven, forgive me for I will soon have sinned and be taken by this beautiful woman!'} Her thoughts then began running wild as I leaned closer and closer until our noses were inches apart. {'Ah, her eyes are so pretty. She looks like an angel, but she is actually an wicked temptress! Oh woe is me, please, be gentle…'}

'This woman has a few screws loose but, she is cute that's for certain. Although I don't swing that way, this only proves that I could hear her thoughts somehow. But the question now is: Why?'

While I was lost in my thoughts, a sudden soft and sweet sensation assaulted my lips. Turning up my eyes, I witnessed Victoria bravely leaning into the kiss herself and for the next dozen seconds, we pulling away slowly as I caught my breath while gently touching my lips.

'That was my first kiss.'

{'That was my first kiss.'}

What, it was her first too!? Just what is going on?
