As Kate's eyes fluttered open, her vision clouded by the darkness that engulfed the room. She felt a chill in the air, the cold seeping into her bones. Confusion washed over her as she tried to recall how she ended up in this desolate place.

As her eyes adjusted to the dim light, a flicker of movement caught her attention. In the corner of the room, a pair of glowing white eyes pierced through the shadows. They fixated on her, unblinking, radiating an eerie intensity that sent shivers down her spine.

Fear gripped her heart as she realized she was not alone. The unknown entity, hidden within the darkness, seemed to watch her every move, its presence palpable. Panic welled up inside her, as she promptly bolted onto her feet.

She mustered her courage and cautiously called out into the silence. "Who are you?!" she said as she backed away slowly. "I am him" the figure said in a deep booming voice that echoed in the dark room.
