Catching (Swallowing) the snitch

The quaffle was immediately taken by Angelina Johnson, an excellent chaser of the Gryffindor team.

Lee Jordan had to be reprimanded by Professor McGonagall as he focused too much on the attractive girl and acdidentally said his thoughts out loud.

The Weasley twins' friend Lee Jordan, was doing the commentary for the match, closely watched by Professor McGonagall.

As she was belting around she made a neat pass to Alicia Spinnet.

According to Lee, she had only been a reserve last year and had been scouted by Wood himself.

She threw back the quaffle intending to pass it to Johnson but Marcus Flint managed to snatch the ball midway.

Marcus flew like a eagle towards the goal but was stopped by an excellent move from Oliver Wood.

Chaser Katie Bell took the quaffle and dived around Marcus Flint but had been hit in the back of the head by a bludger leading to Slytherins repossession of the quaffle.

Adrian Pucey, the Slytherin chaser speeded off towards the goalposts but had been hit by a second bludger thanks to the courtesy of the Weasley twins.

Which twin did the deed was an unsolved mystery that even Lee , their close friend could not figure out.

Anyway, Johnson was back in the possession of the quaffle and taking advantage of the clear field flew towards the opposing goalposts.

When the goalposts were just ahead she barely dodged a speeding bludger and threw the quaffle towards the goalposts, Slytherin Keeper Bletchley dived but had missed leading to the first score of Gryffindor.

Gryffindor cheers filled the cold air, with howls and moans from the Slytherins.

"Budge up there, move along."

Neville turned his attention away from the match to see Hagrid making his way to them.

Neville and Hermione squeezed together to give Hagrid enough space to join them.

As he took in the divine scent coming from Hermione he was reminded of the last time they had hugged.

That time they had been in the presence of the foul Troll so he hadn't smelled the fragrance and only had the pleasure of tears and snot rubbed off on his robes.

Perhaps he was not the only one remembered the repulsive memory as the little witch was pointedly looking away with flushed cheeks.

You were the one to rub your tears and snot on me!

Now you can't face me, can you!

He planned to gift a magical self restoring handkerchief to her on Christmas so that his robes may be spared the next time they have an adventure.

The rest of the match proceeded as the plot, Harry's broom had a little dark magic jinxing problem which his "big sister" noticed right away.

Then as Neville and Ron followed behind Hermione who fought her way across to the stand where Snape stood and was racing along the row behind him; she didn't even stop to say sorry as she knocked Professor Quirrel headfirst into the row in front.

Reaching Snape, she crouched down, pulled out her wand, and whispered a few well chosen words. Bright blue flames shot from her wand on to the hem of Snape's robes.

It took perhaps thirty second for Snape to realize that he was on fire. A sudden yelp told her she had done her job.

Scooping the fire off into a little jar she carried in her pocket she scrambled back along the row.

Up into the air Harry was suddenly able to clamber back on to his broom.

Harry was speeding towards the ground when the crowd saw him clap his hand to his mouth as if he was about to be sick he fell on the pitch on all fours and coughed and something gold fell in his hands.

It turned out that Harry somehow hadn't broken any rules in his unique catching of snitch.

Lee Jordan happily shouted out the result --- Gryffindor had won the match by one hundred seventy points to sixty.

Harry heard none of it as he was being served a cup of strong tea in Hagrid's Hut.

They told Hagrid about their encounter with the three headed dog and how the dog was protecting something.

Hagrid had initially been suprised to know that they had met Fluffy like the name did to the first years.

After they let Hagrid know that Snape had jinxed the broom he vehemently refused the idea and accidentally spilled out Nicolas Flamel's name in his argument that led them to believe that whatever item the dog protected was related to this Nicolas person .

Bye!
