The beginning 

In the vast emptiness of the void, there was a lone figure that floated, shapeless yet somewhat humanoid. It remained still, boredom obvious in its never-changing stillness.

Time drifted in silence until a small orb appeared, dwarfed by the titanic figure. The orb glowed in vibrant colors, its glow illuminating the emptiness around them.

The small orb floated ever closer to the lone figure, who opened its eyes and shimmered in grandiose purplish-black radiance. Its eyes were similar to the vast emptiness of the void around it but also different as they had color.

In a sudden shift, the orb vanished! Appearing right in front of the lone figure that scrutinized it with curiosity and a hint of annoyance. Then it dived into what this small orb held, and to the lone figure's surprise, it was a vast collection of knowledge it wasn't aware of, which baffled it, and it dived deeper into that knowledge.

"Fascinating... Anime, and fantasies..." its neutral voice boomed, making the void ripple from the sheer magnitude of the power its voice had. "A world of gods? System? And world traveling?" it muttered, and everything started to change about it.

The lone figure's shapeless body was destroyed and compressed but at the same time expanded, creating a hallucinatory effect that caused the whole void to tremble madly.

After a while, it finally stopped, its shapeless body unrecognizable, but then the outer layer started to dissipate, showing the hollow inside that held a human. But you couldn't tell if that human was a man or woman, nor were you able to distinguish what was happening.

After a few moments, everything began to clear.

Now in the vast empty void floated a boy who looked to be 15, with a handsome face, pure void-like purple eyes, and black hair that would swallow the light.

He wore an unusual choice of attire that could only identify him as one of those cultured ones! A Hawaiian-type shirt adorned with anime waifus, with a pair of shorts with similar designs. This added an otaku touch to his overall presence.

And then he moved his hand in a smooth motion almost as if gliding through the void, and a white screen appeared. "System," he called out, and the white screen became bright as if alive.

The entity named Regal closed his eyes and waited for all his powers to disappear into the system. He had completely and utterly given up his power that could be classified as multiverse-level and beyond in all senses.

Regal opened his eyes slowly and stared at the system screen in front that had taken a golden hue from its white radiance.

The system screen shined and expanded, covering Regal's now human vision with a massive collection of anime worlds, ranging from the Dxd known for its boobs to 'Fate' and 'Record of Ragnarok' where the battle of legends takes place. Not just that, even small worlds with very little power to worlds with no powers shown.

There were even some game worlds like Genshin and even movies like Marvel and DC! To top it off, there was an infinite line of story worlds that displayed vast cosmological disorder, nearly making Regal blind from their radiance.

It was truly a massive collection of anime, but out of all of them, one caught his attention: Danmachi, the world with gods that lived with mortals. A fresh world, where everything was calm on the surface but chaotic inside.

A world full of beauties as well!

"Let's start with Danmachi," Regal announced, making the screen engulf him.

In an oddly modern room, the sun rays landed on Regal, who slept peacefully with no care in the world. The sunray gradually crept up to Regal's face and landed on his eyes, not going any further, and the wind rustled gently, making Regal's hair float a bit.

Regal's face morphed into a little discomfort as the sunray began to strengthen with the rising of the sun, making him open his eyes and turn away.

[Good morning, Regal]

A feminine voice greeted, making Regal slowly get up and stretch his body a bit. "Good morning," Regal wished her back and looked at the modern room, which had a bed, a desk with a few notes and writing tools, and a chair with wheels. To the side, there was a wardrobe with a few sets of clothes that were more fitting for the medieval setting he picked. And then there was a staircase going down.

Regal headed down, his face emotionless, and looked around. It was a living room with cozy sofas to sit on, with a table in the center, and that was all, but do take note that all was modern.

[Before you do your exploring, you need to know a few things]

The system spoke out, making Regal pause and nod. He took a seat and waited for the system's explanation.

[The stillness you lived in affected you deeply, and your emotions are suppressed by your mind, which has been reduced to a human level and can't properly comprehend them or even properly display them]

The system began as a light snack appeared in front of Regal, who curiously took it and munched on it.

[Your emotions are limited, but with some social interactions, you will do fine as you will adapt to the changes that will be your beginning.]

Regal nodded in understanding as his face was still blank, only his eyes and gestures conveying emotions, which were also not much.

[I gave you pocket change of 1 million valis, which you can spend... but remember it's there.]
