Chapter 17 ( another traitor )

Ten walked around the bonfire trying to get a view from inside the ship when he saw some shadows enter the hanger doors but he couldn't see who they were.

" Shit I can't see a thing " Ten said to himself while trying to see inside the ship using the cameras he had put inside, none of them was working so he sat back down when someone sat down beside him.

" whatcha doing Ten " Tyler said with a smile, Ten smiled back then picked up a stick and played with the fire while Tyler watched him from his perifial vision.

" Nothing just waiting for us to head back to base " Ten said throwing the stick in the fire while stretching his arms, Tyler saw some movement on top of the ship but looked away.

(" what the hell does this kid want anyway") Ten thought to himself while watching Amani's ship, Tyler was told to keep an eye out on Ten and the commander so he followed what Pak told him to do.

" what will you do if we don't head back to the base " Tyler said while pulling out some snacks from his pack and eating the dried fruit while Ten stared at him.

" what do you mean...I'm pretty sure the commander said we will return after this mission is cleared right " Ten said clenching his fist putting on the act that he was planning to return home and he told them the lie after this mission that he's returning to his planet to be with his father and brother to help out with the farm which was the story he told them anyway.

" have you talked to the girls yet" Ten asked taking another drink from his Flask while watching the other ship, Tyler furrowed his eyebrows at his question.

" no I haven't and really no need right now since I'm taking a break from watching the prisoner" Tyler said as Ten made a ugly face and shook his head.

" he was our teammate for over a year, I don't know why he did what he did but maybe he had his reasons " Ten said clearing his throat while looking around the ships for any movement.

" no we took an oath to Jessica who has made all of our lives better and also our families life better, even if they had my family hostage I'd never betray Jessica " Tyler said making Ten laugh so he looked at him with a confused face, then Ten stood up and shook his head.

" I'm just saying that he had saved us many times and we just turned our backs on him" Ten said making Tyler scoff at him.

" no Jessica saved me when the Alliance killed off my whole family and I'm loyal to her first and foremost" Tyler said walking away from Ten who smirked at Tyler's retreating back.

" well I won't be able to get him to betray them...his family is dead, well good to hear " Ten said walking closer to Amanis ship when Dommer stepped out of the hanger doors packing a rifle, Ten stopped in his steps awkwardly waving at the large man who had a bionic hand now attached.

" I just came to check on everyone" Ten said as Dommer blocked his entrance with a straight face that said (" I don't care, run along ").

" They're busy...come back later " Dommer said laying the large gun against his shoulder, Ten chuckled throwing both hands up then backs away.

(" that big oaf I guess I'll need Cyrus to help be a decoy ") Ten said walking back inside his ship pulling out a device that can directly send a message to the general of the Alliance he's working for.

(" General Samson I've encountered problems with retrieving that Alien Queen or even her DNA since they burned the body, your friends mole was caught trying to capture the creature and also placing bombs around the ships along with the other devices. How about sending your lieutenant and his men to attack us to buy me an opportunity to check out their ship, knowing your wife won't let a species go extinct without having something from the species") Ten said over a message he sent out that was scrambled.

(" well I thought you wouldn't have any problems with my dear daughter Sargeant, it seems you've underestimated her and her mother. I'll send some people be prepared for tomorrow around dinner, you also won't be able to use any electronics or certain weapons since they'll use that new EMP to get their barriers down") General Samson sent back to the device as the device started to over heat before it blew up making Ten shake his hand from being burned.

Ten pulled out an old earth handgun that he had been given, he looked at one of the bullets with a smile then loads the clip.

" well let's see how they handle this primitive weapon " Ten said hiding the handgun inside his pants, what he didn't know was that Taki collected weapons from different planets and Times for her massive collection of weapons plus all the newly made weapons that she actually helped make along with Jessica.

Ten walked to the cells where Pak was reading a book on his hologram screen, Ten sat down on a chair next to him and leaned back sighing and getting Packs attention.

(" Pak was already told to let Ten take his spot but to be hesitant about the idea from Tai.")

" go get something to eat Pak you've been here for hours, you know all of us can take turns watching him...right " Ten said patting Paks shoulder. Pak hesitated several times turning Ten down until finally he agreed then left to go to the mess hall.

" Cyrus tomorrow be ready, everything on these ships will go out a few hours for you to get your mission done so find anything from that creature and take care of anyone that gets in your way.. They had to collect body parts, blood from that thing so just make sure to find it " Ten said sliding the small handgun that's a 9mm Beretta inside the cell where Cyrus quickly hid the weapon under him and nods his head.

Ten leaned back in the chair while checking the hallway cameras to make sure no one was listening or coming back just yet, he leans closer to the cell.

" you know he'll give you even more power and wealth if you kill Tai so think it over cause this will be your only chance plus look at how she belittled you" Ten said as Cyrus gritted his teeth then looked at Ten with the one eye that wasn't swollen shut, Ten put up his hands as if he surrendered.

" look I'm just giving you a chance here, you know when they return you to Jessica that it'll be worse than death with what that woman can do... Just look around while their all busy and find that specimen and kill her that way you can leave with the incoming threat before they can capture you again " Ten said leaning back playing a game on his screen while laughing, but he was watching Cyrus from his perifial vision at Cyrus thinking it over.

" I'll do it " Cyrus said, Ten nodded then heard footsteps coming back and the commander walked in looking from Cyrus to Ten.

" why are you here Ten, she said for Tyler or Pak to watch him for his stay here " the commander said narrowing his eyes at Ten who smiles at him, he slowly got up then walked out of the room.

(" the commander knows someone else on his team is a traitor besides Cyrus, someone that knew his family was going on vacation to the planet where they took his family and it had to be Ten that's why he's been keeping an eye on him.")

" he went to get something to eat " Ten said leaving the brig when the commander motioned him out taking a seat watching Cyrus, when Pak was returning he saw Ten coming down the hallway and he looked at Ten confused as to why he was leaving the cells.

" well I guess only you and Tyler are suppose to watch him, I was coming to get you " Ten said with a small smile while walking past Pak who smiles then pulled out a listening device from his ear when the commander came out, he looked at Pak with furrowed brows.

" don't trust Ten and be careful with Cyrus, you shouldn't have left your post " the commander said walking past Pak who looked at his back, he felt bad for him knowing the man had a lot going on especially to the person he's sworn his life to and the family that he loves.

(" I'll kill them all ") Ten said to himself while laughing when he sat outside looking up at the stars while smiling to himself, he had a gun that he still needs to assemble that is a primitive shotgun.

Cyrus was and is a decoy that he can use to by time to find the specimen and to make sure to get rid of Tai then Jessica when he returns to her base that's why he has to have Cyrus do the dirty work and let the man get their attention then take the credit.

Taki was already going through any and all data that's coming in and out from all the people using any equipment in a fifty mile radius. No matter how good the tech is she'll be able to get any and all info that comes or goes, while Tai had Chaotic doing the same thing flying around outside the barrier watching satellites for any aircraft as Taki was doing the same.

Winter was talking to Taki over her ear piece while watching Ten while she wants to just pull the trigger she was ordered not to kill him until they find out who has sent him and what his plans really are.

Ten kept staring at Winter who didn't break her eye contact with him which he took as her calling him out, but he was the one who folded under her gaze.

" I'll take care of you as well " Ten said to himself while smiling then waving at her, she responded by flipping him off then smiling back at him.

Taki finished unscrambling the messages then smiles while she called for Tai to come inside her computer lab that was near the cock pit of the ship, Tai was on her way when she spotted Ari who quickly looked away from her then went back inside her room.

Tai ran over buzzing her door and talking through the speaker while leaning her forehead against the door, she hates that she hasn't had time for Ari since she's been with them.

" Ari I'm sorry that I haven't got to spend time with you since we have things going on, I need to speak with Taki then I'll come to you ok " Tai said waiting for a reply which never came so she went into Takis Lab that had shelves full of different weapons that was all cataloged with where and what year they were made with details on how to put them together and what they do.

" Those are grenades...just pull the pin and throw them to whoever or whatever you want to destroy" Taki said as Tai placed it back on the shelf that had dozens of them.

" Stun grenades...smoke grenades and nerve gas, that one sounds nasty " Tai said looking at the different types of grenades that Taki had on each shelf that pulled out holding hundreds of them.

" oh it is and actually it helped me design the Pollox explosive that spills gas out after the explosion that basically turns your enemies insides to putty and they die a painful death" Taki said then walks over to a table where she had several weapons from Earths twenty first century.

" these should be easy for you all to use so I got them out along with those grenades that are inside that box plus c-4 that you can place on things or in locations like your disk explosives same concept except you have to manually attach these with the timer, trip wires or controls to have them explode....this here is a shotgun then we have different Rifles, sub-machine guns or heavy machine guns that we can place on top or the front to take care of any threats since they are .50 caliber and also these are sniper rifles. I know our guns can change from all of these just with one of our guns. Well the message that I unscrambled was from Ten to your father and they plan on sending a group of his men to attack while they take out our weapons and barrier using a new EMP to make us lose any defense or weapons to use against them. Ten also was speaking about finding a sample from the Queen alien and they know that Jessica will have you collect it since that species would become extinct...Well it's a good thing I have all the weapons that the EMP won't affect plus those vests here." Taki said pulling out a rack of bullet proof vests, she also upgraded them with a stronger metal that will withstand even a pulse rifle shot. Takis pretty sure they'll send a drone to set off the EMP while their ship and weapons will be out of range of the blast wave.

Taki also has Emp from the past and current, she has sent out four of her drones carrying them to try and even their odds with the enemy.

" good Taki hand them out to everyone and also teach them how to load theses weapons plus explain to them about the grenades as well " Tai said picking up a sniper rifle with a couple clips that Taki already had loaded, she pulled out a empty box then took one of the vest along with a couple clips for the sniper rifle. Taki grabbed two boxes of shells putting them inside the box with a pamphlet she made on how to use the rifle, like loading and the scope along with details about other guns and explosives was on there.

Tai grabbed over fourteen grenades, eight smoke grenades along with ten stun grenades throwing them inside the box.

" besides this rifle what other gun would best suit Winter in her location " Tai said as Taki smiled pointing at a handgun that was a 9mm Glock while pulling out a sub-machine gun that had a scope on it, while pointing at the large guns that was sitting on tripods with shells attached together that comes out of a large box.

" this is a Gatling heavy machine gun that can be used on groups to keep them back or killing a large number of people even vehicles will be done for... .50 caliber hehe" Taki said pointing at a large gun that had over ten barrels on it, then pointed to the other machine guns of different sizes.

" ok have Freen take that up with you then set that up where Winter has her post, along with this box " Tai said looking at the shotguns when she seen a large one call a striker.

" this sniper rifle is a good one for someone like Winter, it's called a Barret .50 cal so she'll take out anyone that is even several hundred yards away. That striker will be good for Dommer and it's easy to load and if course will give him a hand gun this .40 cal smith and Wesson will be a good match for him. Hell I bet he'll like this machine gun since the two men are large enough to carry them and it even has a tripod they can use while in cover. " Taki said getting the two weapons plus ammo with a few grenades with an ex. large vest for the two large men, she picked out an AK-47 along with a 9mm for Freen in case he had problems using the large machine gun. Taki and the others worked on packs for all of them even the elites except for Ten and cyrus also and she put each person's name on the boxes and also grab several crates of bullets for the heavy duty Gatling gun.

Taki pulled Tais and Amani's box out while looking through her guns, she already chose the handguns for them which was a .40 cal for Tai with extended clips and and two AK-74u for Amani along with a .38.

Taki chose a SCAR-L for Tai along with a SPAS-12 shotgun then she picked out four other LMGuns plus two different shotguns that she has several of that the others will be able to use without much direction.

" let's see three P-90s, two MP-5, four UMP-45, seven different types of 9mm along with three .38...now with shotguns let's go with four AA-12 and four SPAS-12" Taki said getting extra clips for each weapon along with several cases of ammo for each one while she filled the boxes while she seen Tai looking at a .380 handgun along with a Smaller machine gun that looked like an UZi or close like the two Amani will have but easier control.

" that's called a PM-9 " Taki said taking a couple extra clips for that gun and handing them over to Tai who put it inside Aris box along with the .380, Taki was getting everything together choosing weapons and locations on the ship where they had extra weapons, ammo and explosives that are to only be used in emergencies inside the ship.

" give Athena one of those shotguns and handguns like mine while you give Calista the same as Ari along with vest and ammo, no explosives. We will have them stay with Ari and Joe " Tai said as Taki nodded her head sticking two more .38 along with two more 9mm for them so Joe could have one and those AK-47 along with this AK-74u Seem like they'd be good for everyone to use so give those out in the packs with those M-16s.

" ok so call them all inside here while Freen takes this stuff up to Winter also have the other elites that's under Amani choose their weapons while three will be down here and two up top with Winter who will man those machine guns. Have someone man a Gatling machine gun at the entrance along with that heavy machine gun and while Winter is on a sniper rifle while the third can use this AK-47 with a scope to help clear the ones that the other three miss. Olivia needs to produce a poison that'll incapacitate Ten and Cyrus so that we can get any info that they have or know, then Olivia, Sylvia and Fina will be with Athena and them so they can protect them while the rest of us protect the ship." Tai said thinking about walking up to Ten and just getting it out of the way but she is sure that he will contact her father again once everything starts to backfire.

" well Taki I'll need you to stay inside the cock pit and keep it locked down while all of this is going on " Tai said making Taki pout then cross her arms over her hot pink M-16 that was custom made with a grenade launcher on it.

" I thought I could use my baby while we had a chance " Taki said making Tai smile at her, she's planning on keeping her girls away from the main fight even Lillian, Len and Amani who will be locked in Takis room that's in the cock pit so that no one will get hurt or having Tai worry about them since she needs to worry about the ones she will have in battle with her already.

" no I need you to get this ship up and running as soon as we can and take off, I still need to have Pak and the other guys to come over before shit goes down so pick out two shotguns along with one rifle and four handguns for them." Tai said when Phrae and Farrow come inside the room and Taki frowns looking at the two women.

" wow this is some collection" Phrae said picking up a rifle and a loaded clip as she hands it over to Farrow who smiles then loaded the weapon with ease. Taki rolled her eyes then gave Phrae a .357 with a box of Ammo making her smile.

" I guess these are welcome gifts " Taki said giving the two women a shy smile making them smile back at her while Phrae loaded the gun, Phrae takes off a ring then hands it to Taki.

" that is a thank you gift and also the diamond has blue prints of a new ship I designed, I've heard you are one of the best engineers in all the galaxies maybe Jessica will fund it for you since we're mates with her daughter " Phrae said with a wink, when Taki heard what she said she squealed in delight and Farrow frowned when she heard Phrae say we and Tais mates.

" ok enough Taki take all of these to the girls and make sure they each know how to use them, I'm going to talk to Phrae in private, remember we'll have a private meeting in your room before we go to our posts and make sure all the girls know " Tai said leaving Taki and Farrow behind.

" well come on I'll help you " Farrow said while picking up a couple boxes while Taki called Freen in to help take Winters things to the top of the ship.
