Kadori lifted his body off the floor and wiped the blood that was trickling down his mouth with his sleeves.

His plan right now was to lay low and wait for the day to pass before he exacted his revenge on Sikes and his friends.

Who knows the tantalizing rewards he would get for wiping them all out?

"Hey, are you okay?" Geralt rushed up to Kadori, inquiring with a worried expression. "You should have allowed me to take care of that bastard."

"Nah, it's okay. I'm good," Kadori assured. "Besides, there were more of them and they were all Platinum rank. It might have been impossible for you to defeat them alone."

Geralt knew that what Kadori was saying was the truth. He was only a Diamond 1 rank, and it would be impossible for a Diamond 1 to go up against four Platinum 4 ranks.

If they were to engage in a one-on-one fight, then Geralt would defeat them easily.

But if they were all to attack him at once, especially when he's currently injured from last night's brawl with the Knight beast, it would be impossible to win.

"Let's just finish our breakfast. We can both share mine," Yukiko suggested, and the group walked to an empty space to have their breakfast.

After the students were done eating, a man who looked to be in his early thirties walked in, dressed in navy blue attire and black boots.

"Please, follow me to the announcement hall. The results of the tests are out and will be announced!"

The man said in an authoritative voice before turning around and leading the students out of the cafeteria.

Kadori already knew his score would be low since he failed to get a high score during the strength test and also wasn't able to provide a technique for them to record.

The students formed a straight line, following the rugged-looking teacher behind to the announcement hall.

Moments later, the students arrived in the announcement hall and all stood together with their groups, awaiting further instruction.

There were already a few staff members, all dressed in the same navy blue attire, waiting for them in the hall.

Among the teachers, one of them had a huge box in his hand, and only God knows what's inside.

"Greetings, ladies and gentlemen," a man who also looked to be in his early thirties greeted with a warm smile. "I gathered you all here to announce your scores by giving you an emblem that signifies your rank."

Saying those words, the man brought out a long piece of paper containing the names of every student present there today.

"Please note that the emblem should be worn on your wrists and shouldn't be taken off under any circumstance," the man known as Gilbert spoke further.

"It will be an emblem to differentiate between the weak and strong, and also help us know the areas we should focus our training on and students that should be sent on missions."

Mr. Gilbert cleared his throat and began to call out the names of the students.

Once the name was called, the student would step forward towards the man with the huge box, and what looked like a wristwatch would be handed over to them.

The wristwatches were of different kinds based on the rank. The one who got a gold rank had a watch with an octagonal golden shape, and the number of golden bars in the octagon determined what rank of Gold they were in.

The ones who got platinum had a deep blue triangle in the middle of the watch and also bars that glowed blue to signify their current rank.

While the few with diamond got a watch with no shape at all, just the bars that glowed light purple to signify their current rank.

Since Geralt was only a Diamond 1 rank, his watch only displayed a single bar.

"Kadori Kakashi!"

Hearing his name, Kadori stepped forward, feeling disheartened, and the students present couldn't help but laugh at him after witnessing the incident earlier.

The man holding the box took out a wristwatch and handed it over to Kadori with looks of disdain and disgust.

Kadori retrieved the watch and glanced at the single bronze bar on it.

'Yeah, that's what I thought,' Kadori shook his head as he went to rejoin his group.

Kadori feared that now that everyone saw him as the weakest student in the academy, no one would let him be.

Not that he was afraid or anything, he only hated to be the center of attention.

"You don't have to worry, man," Geralt said after catching a glimpse of Kadori's rank. "I'm sure before you leave this academy, you'll have ranked up to Heroic."

Kadori forced a fake smile before putting on the watch on his wrist.

Hearing Geralt's words now made him wonder if he ranks up his system, would it also change the rank on his watch?

Kadori was already in Bronze 2 in the system, but the academy only saw him as a Bronze 1.

If truly it appears on the watch, then ranking up might just bring up suspicion for him, and they might end up finding out he has a strange system in him.

"Now that the Ranks have been recorded, the next step is to choose a club to join," Mr. Gilbert voiced out.

"The clubs are to help you train in your areas of strength. There are a total of three clubs: the Skills and Technique club, the healing club, and the martial arts club."

Three individuals stepped forward with a pen and paper in their hands, representing each club.

"Choose wisely, because that is the club you will spend the next year training in."

A huge crowd of students began to form right in front of the Skills and Techniques club, while the healing and Martial Arts clubs only had a few students.

"I am definitely going to the Techniques club," Geralt said, his eyes fixed on the man registering students in the Skills and Techniques club.

"I would also be heading there," Yukiko remarked before shifting her gaze towards Kadori. "What about you?"

Kadori, on the other hand, already had his mind made up on what club to attend...

"Martial Arts club," Kadori replied.
