Jack needed to keep training and with the machine to improve the strength that Ben had given him, Jack was more excited about training seeing his strength increase every day.

As Tony was going to talk to Pepper about important matters, Jack decided not to go back to Tony's house, he would only come back the next day to find out what had happened.

So Jack took advantage of the day to go talk to the Ancient One and Wong at Kamar-Taj and talk to Peter in New York about what was going on in his life in the last few days.

Peter told Jack that he had not become friends with Harry Osborn just as Jack said, Peter also said that he was getting closer to Gwen Stacy and that he had also met Mary Jane whom Aunt May insisted on introducing him to.

Jack found it interesting to hear how similar Peter's current life really was to the comics, thankfully Peter's life was smoother with Jack's help in protecting his secret identity.

It seemed that the Green Goblin disappeared after he ran away from the fight against Jack and Spider Man, Jack thought that was good because in the comics there was a time when Norman Osborn wasn't the Green Goblin, it would be better if it stayed that way.

The other day Jack went back to Tony's house and realized that he had a handprint on his face, yet Tony looked happy, Jack knew he had ways to convince Pepper to forgive him.

"You look happy Tony, but what a beautiful handprint you have on your face," Jack said jokingly.

"This is an accident, I didn't think Pepper was going to slap me, after all, I told her I was poisoned and could die, I thought she would feel sorry for me, but when I told her I was Iron Man, I think her anger was beyond the limit she could control." Said Tony smiling bitterly.

"Then she cried and said she knew I had changed over the years, Pepper said she thought I was sick but didn't think I was dying, after I told her I was going to get better she forgave me." Said Tony happily.

"But I must say you really do seem to understand more about how a woman thinks than I do Jack, she really got pissed off and only forgave me when I found out she was the first person I had told I was Iron Man," Tony said in surprise.

Jack just laughed upon hearing that, he had little experience with relationships in his life, he just knew what was right because he had seen the Marvel movies and knew well how Pepper and Tony thought.

But he couldn't tell Tony that, and he wasn't bad at receiving the admiration of a playboy like Tony who had had several girlfriends in his life.

"Pepper said he wanted to thank you for saving my life so today we're going to my company so she can thank you and I get out of the house for a while I want to get out more but I also want to get back to using my lab now that I'm better," Tony said.

"Okay, I'll go with you to your company, I really wanted to get to know your company better, I just went to Pepper's office when I went there last time," Jack said.

"I'm going to show you some cool stuff I created back at the company, there's a much larger scale arc reactor than I have in my mid-chest, and there's some other stuff I came up with." Said Tony proud of his work.

Soon Jack and Tony went to Stark Industries in Tony's car, Jack didn't use a car because he knew how to fly and could use the portal, but since Tony couldn't reveal that he was Iron Man, it was better for them to go by car.

Jack found it strange that J.A.R.V.I.S was following them wearing Iron Man's armor, but he knew that Tony had brought J.A.R.V.I.S because of his warning, but it seemed that Tony had forgotten that Jack was a hero too, with him around it wasn't necessary that J.A.R.V.I.S came.

Jack and Tony arrived at the company and the employees seemed surprised to see Tony again after so many months had passed, as Jack's face was not known, they didn't know he was a hero.

"Tony, good to see you here at the company again, I thought you were going to be stuck at home forever." Said a man Jack knew from the movies was Happy Hogan, Tony's driver, and bodyguard in the movie.

"Happy, you who should have come to my house to see your old boss, now that you are Pepper's bodyguard you never come to talk to me again," Tony said laughing.

"I have to protect Mrs. Potts, and I thought you would still come to the company even if you weren't president anymore." Happy said.

Jack saw that Tony was happy to see Happy again, after all, Tony thought he might die and that's why he didn't come to the company anymore, but Jack couldn't help but find it strange to see Happy being Pepper's bodyguard, after all in the comics they got to be to marry.

Jack was sad because it seemed that this time Happy wouldn't have a relationship with Aunt May who was much older than in the movies, so he would be alone if he didn't meet someone who wasn't an important character in the story.

Tony and Jack went to Pepper's office, Pepper already knew that Tony had arrived at the company and was waiting to see him and Jack, when they entered Pepper's office, Jack was shocked.

Beside Pepper was a beautiful woman who had curly red hair, and green eyes and was wearing a shirt and social cause, Jack knew well who she was, it was the Black Widow who looked like the actress Scarlett Johansson.

Jack had always thought that Scarlett Johansson was a very beautiful woman, but what he was shocked about was actually why Black Widow was working at Stark Industries.

In the movie, Black Widow sneaked into Stark Industries to find out about Tony's health condition, and also so that Natasha could make a report if Tony was a good candidate for the Avengers initiative.

But in this universe, Tony didn't say he was Iron Man, and Nick Fury had no way of knowing that he was poisoned, otherwise, he would have already looked for Tony to give him medicine to relieve his symptoms.
