Pietro and Wanda were doing well, they had gotten used to life in America and being Avengers, they were beloved by the people and were happy with this new phase of their lives, but they spent most of their time training.

Pietro wanted to reach a speed of 10 Mach, which Jack had set as a new target for him, and Wanda seemed to want to control and improve her chaos magic even more, and also always trained her telekinesis. Jack was happy and worried about the two pushing themselves too hard.

Clint was living a retired life with his family, Steve, Bucky, and Sam had become great friends and always gathered to talk now that there were no new missions, Thor continued to go from Earth to Asgard, and Rhodes continued to work for the government.

Peter was happy with his new married life, he lived and worked with Gwen, and now that the villains had been cured, he only had to oversee the work of the other scientists and work in the supervillain prison.

Jack wanted to give the Avengers more time to rest before telling them about the threats that could come from space, the Kree, Thanos, and the Skrulls, there were many threats that could happen and it was certain that at least Thanos would attack Earth.

Even though Natasha had a strong mentality, she became afraid when she learned about the threats that Earth would face, she only became calmer when she saw that Jack could easily defeat Ronan's army and Ronan himself.

While Jack was visiting friends, Magneto was holding a meeting with the main members of the Brotherhood of Mutants, he gathered everyone and said that Doctor Doom would not be participating in their plan, but he had found another way.

"Doctor Doom told me about an ancient legend that is true, an immortal god in the past who dominated humanity for centuries and made mutants be on top, this god was called En Sabah Nur for ancient Egypt, but Apocalypse for enemies," said Magneto.

"After talking to Doctor Doom, I did some research on this legend. En Sabah Nur lived for hundreds of years conquering various lands for ancient Egypt, and it was said that he had grey skin and blue lips appearance."

"Furthermore, he could give power and enhance the powers of his followers. If he is a mutant, he can enhance our powers and we can dominate the Earth for mutants," said Magneto.

Magneto did not mention that wherever En Sabah Nur went, there was hunger, war, diseases, and a lot of death. En Sabah Nur believed only in the survival of the fittest and would kill weaker mutants and humans to lead only the strongest mutants.

Magneto was blinded by rage and also believed that the survival of the fittest included mutants, while weaker ones were humans. He did not think about killing some weaker mutants as well.

Sabretooth and Juggernaut agreed with the plan to awaken En Sabah Nur. They wanted to cause chaos and believed that mutants were superior, so a mutant god from the past should be powerful enough to help them.

Toad and Pyro simply agreed with Magneto's plan and believed that Magneto knew what was best for them, so only Mystique did not agree with the plan to awaken Apocalypse.

"I don't think it's a good idea to awaken this ancient god, Magneto. He must be very powerful, and if he is a mutant, he will be much more powerful than us and cannot be controlled," said Mystique.

"If this ancient god is not a mutant, it will be even worse. We will also be his targets. I prefer to live fighting heroes for the supremacy of humans than to die at the hands of a god," said Mystique.

Magneto didn't like being questioned but knew that Mystique was someone who wanted mutant supremacy like him and was important to the Brotherhood of Mutants. As the other mutants agreed, Magneto went to Egypt with them before Mystique could investigate more about Apocalypse.

The Brotherhood of Mutants arrived in ancient Egypt and bought some jeeps to reach the pyramid where Apocalypse was. Magneto and the mutants managed to reach the pyramid, which was buried in the ground under some empty houses.

Doctor Doom explained the method of awakening Apocalypse and how to find him. Magneto used his power to move metals and break the ground and the houses that were on top of the pyramid. As soon as the sun touched the pyramid, it began to glow and the Egyptian hieroglyphs began to light up.

The mutants looked at this impressed by how a pyramid from over a thousand years ago seemed better than current technology. Magneto was eager to meet the mutant god who had ruled humanity for hundreds of years, just as he wanted to do.

After a while, the pyramid began to rise and an earthquake happened throughout Egypt. This was the power of En Sabah Nur trying to remove the debris around him after waking up.

Magneto moved the other mutants away from the pyramid. They were impressed by the power that En Sabah Nur showed soon after awakening. Only a few mutants in the world could cause an earthquake like this.

Soon En Sabah Nur came out of his pyramid and seemed confused about how things looked different from his time. En Sabah Nur saw Magneto and the Brotherhood of Mutants and knew they had awakened him.

En Sabah Nur moved closer to them and started speaking, but it was an ancient language and none of the mutants understood it. En Sabah Nur soon realized that the mutants couldn't understand him and stopped speaking.

He looked around and saw that several people were filming him and taking pictures from afar. En Sabah Nur soon realized it was a type of technology and used his powers to take the cell phone from the hands of a man who was frightened by this and ran away.
