Commander of the Winds

The first thing that Oz saw on entering the city was the two inquisitor corpses. A third lay injured, his legs broken, or shattered. His walk through the streets revealed more and more inquisitors who were either dead or at its door. Like they had been chased into this city.

It was then he saw the daemon. It came to him first, floating, with the two wrecking balls hanging from its arms from a chain, swaying from side to side, glistening with blood. Whether it was smiling or not, Oz couldn't tell. All he knew was that this daemon could not be allowed to live.

The daemon was the first to attack, going back and swinging its wrecking ball at him. The ball stopped before it reached Oz, repelled by an invisible force. It attacked with its second ball, and the same thing happened.

"That all you got?" Oz asked. The daemon moved backwards, and for the first time, grabbed the chains with his arms. The daemon swung the wrecking ball, the sheer force of it pushing everything in its path away. Oz was flung back a few meters, catching the second wrecking ball and pulling. The daemon, however, remained stagnant, pulling from its side as well. Oz broke the tug of war, letting go of the wrecking ball. The wrecking ball moved with incredible speed, almost hitting the daemon's face. The daemon shook its chains and began to haphazardly strike about, destroying the entire street. Oz stood his ground, unfazed by the destruction as everything merely bounced off of his invisible barrier.

The daemon surprised Oz, going up close and striking as it tried to smash Oz's face in. Oz jumped back, sending a gust of wind at the daemon, which sent it flying into a building. Conjuring a ball of air, Oz fired it at the daemon.

Oz knew this daemon was strong. Someone like Agatha and Aleksandr couldn't handle it, even if it was a sin, they could have at least put up a fight, But there wasn't a dent on it. Heck, its clothes were not even dirty. It was like it was invincible.

Oz would have to go all out to defeat the daemon. The daemon tilted its head, looking at Oz. Stretching out its hands, it swung its wrecking balls. The chains connecting them extending to a two block radius, destroying everything as it came to crush Oz. Oz blocked the attack with his wind barrier, but the sheer force of it made him bleed from his mouth and nose. It was like trying to stop two tractors moving at the speed of sound from colliding. Gathering all the air he could, Oz flew to the daemon and landed a hit on its chest. The daemon blocked the hit, going back only a few meters, only to barraged by a volley of wind pins. Still unfazed and seemingly unimpressed, the daemon flew up into the sky. raising up his wrecking balls, he slammed them down.

"I don't think so." Oz said, catching the chains. With all his might, Oz broke the chains, leaving the daemon weaponless. However, by the time Oz let go of the chains, the daemon was nowhere in sight. It held the two detached wrecking balls in its long hands, as if grieving over its damage. Without warning, the daemon threw the wrecking balls at Oz. Oz dodged the first one, not expecting the daemon to throw it in quick succession as the second wrecking ball slammed into his shoulder, sending Oz back. Grabbing the wrecking ball, the daemon came from behind Oz and used it to slam Oz in the ground. Oz fired another gust of wind at its face. The daemon broke its own neck to avoid the attack, reattaching it and headbutting Oz, much to his shock. Oz rolled to his feet raising one hand with the other under it.

"Boreas." Oz said. Instantly a cold wind swept across the ruined city, freezing any and everything it touched. The daemon froze as well, although it could still move with much difficulty. Oz crossed his arms over his chest, four fingers on each arm raised.

"Notus." Oz instantly teleported to the daemon's side and punched it in its chest. The daemon, for the first time, crashed into a building and lay on the ground. It slowly picked itself up, scratching its head with a finger while rubbing dust off its coat with its other arm. It turned to Oz, picking up one of its wrecking balls and breaking it. Oz had its attention now.
