Gill and Sano stared at the elevator door then at each other. If Sano took a step towards the lift how would Gill respond?
Nano looked back and forth between the two god-eaters seemingly unaware of the situation.
The tension only tightened without an immediate reaction from Gil and Sano. The elevator wouldn't stay forever just to keep testing them, would it?
"Well?" Gil finally said.
Sano furrowed his brow.
"Go on. It's not like you could get far with that tracker in your armlet." Gil said smugly as he took another swig of his tea.
"You either." Sano said sarcastically, as he turned to the door, but not before inspecting Gil's own armlet.
I noticed that too. They're black...
Gil hid his reluctant smirk behind his teacup but was no less weary.
Sano occupied the elevator and made his way to the roof, god-arc in tow.
"Nana you shouldn't get too close to that guy." Gil warned.
"Why, we can trust him." Nana argued.
"Nana he's a felon and one with a mask. Those God-Eaters never get out and for good reason." Gil argued back.
"Oh, yeah, he's a hardened criminal, but it doesn't change he's a good guy, right?" Nana said childishly.
"Nana, I know he saved a kid and all, but we don't know what he did before that." Gill said, staring directly at Nana now.
Nana while flustered, glowered back.
"There's no need to fret." Julius interrupted, as he ascended the stairs. Followed by Ciel and the other girl in a grey dress.
"Julius, you know he shouldn't be walking around with a god-arc. On or off the battlefield." Gil said turning to face his captain.
"I have to agree with Gilbert Captain. Dr.Sakaki as brilliant as he is clearly should see the danger he presents." Ciel said coldly.
"Reika, help me explain that guy's good. He liked my Oden sandwich! Anyone who likes an Oden sandwich has a good heart!" Nana argued to the grey-dressed girl.
"Uh, well...he's already going on our next mission, and don't we need the extra numbers anyway? Apparently, he can kill Psions." Reika said nervously.
"Wait, he what!?" Romeo butted in the conversation.
"That's why Dr.Sakaki wanted him to come with us, not only to learn about Psions but assess his capability in dispatching them." Julius said.
"He's like us?" Romeo asked.
"I wanted to find time to schedule another briefing, but Ciel's training schedule made it difficult to do so." Julius said neutrally.
"Uh! Sorry, Captain! I will schedule time for mission briefings from now on!" Ciel affirmed herself, almost desperately.
"Ooooooh, that must be why Sakaki asked me to see if he had a blood power." Nana said offhandedly.
"He did what?" Gil said.
"He didn't, but when Ciel and I found him there was a dead Psion around and Romeo didn't you listen when we were talking about that?" Nana chided.
"I mean..!!!" Romeo tried to think of something to counter with.
"Ciel, would you say at the time, it was proof of a blood power?" Julius asked.
"I can say with absolute certainty whatever killed the Psion was done with a god-arc. But he shouldn't have the P66 Bias-Factor. That much was confirmed by Dr.Rachel." Ciel said.
"I didn't think so. Regardless, the Far East needs as many Psion killers as possible for the coming times. Also, we will be going over the Red Rain as well as Psions for Inmate Sano Shimazaki. I know you all have strong feelings about his entire situation, I can't say I don't myself, but looking at his track record so far, I think we can give it one try. Prepare for the mission, I'll meet you all at the helipad." Julius commanded as he went to the elevator.
Ciel begrudgingly saluted and made to organize her teammates. Nana was somewhat satisfied with the turnout. Gil with his tea now finished hopped off the couch. Reika having the higher rank in her team found herself following Ciel's instructions along with her teammates. Romeo was still trying to think of something smart to say.
Now that the quarrel between Sano and Blood was over, they next had to cooperate for the upcoming mission.
Sano admired the view from up the rooftop, noting the large encampment on the edges. The majority of space outside the walled areas was made of sand and non-existent soil. Any and all vegetation was within the walls as far as his view could tell.
Despite the dreary rim, however, Sano couldn't help but find peace. There was no helmet to keep him from breathing the fresh air.
"(No guards to tase me for even thinking of moving out of turn. Don't get ahead of yourself though. It's not like you can do whatever you want.)" Sano thought almost bitterly to himself.
I think it's about time, let's go there'll be more sky to look at later, ideally without that eyesore over yonder.
Sano glowered at the mobile construct beyond the wall, and dare not give it a second glance. The elevator opened up and out came Blood Special Forces.

One by one, they approached the helicopter as Sano stood waiting. Nana ran up with excitement eagerly motioning him in, much to his surprise.
Unsurprisingly Ciel did not. She stood before him and ordered him inside the helicopter. Ciel under orders did not unclasp her gun but was ready to unseal it.
Despite the urge to aggravate her, Sano got in and took a seat next to Nana, which ended up antagonizing Ciel regardless. She took the seat across from him still keeping her Glock handy.
Gil took the seat next to her, while Julius took the other, and much to his discomfort, Romeo took a seat to Sano's right. With his god-arc's shield in full view.
Sano paid him no mind and simply admired their armlets while the chopper took off.
