The Long Journey of a Caged Mouse

As Takashi's heartbeat increased its rhythm, the female titan was led to the street where the ambush was located. 

Indeed, a squad of twelve soldiers led by Petra flew out in front of the female titan. Seeing this, the female titan did not stop and instead increased her speed. However, when she was halfway down the street....

"I didn't tell him..." Armin muttered, he knew that Eren's help was needed to take down the female titan. 

The Survey Corps members, including Eren, Armin Jean, Hange Zoe, and Petra, moved around without concentrating on how things were unfolding.

Erwin Smith, the Survey Corps commander, and Captain Levi came to the bridge on the side of the wall to watch the titans chase each other. 

Levi stood on the sidelines to see if another titan appeared, next to him was a Survey Corps team ready to act at a moment's notice.

Everything is constantly changing and not everyone depends only on one person to win a battle, this time Eren didn't seem to be driven to the extreme, as if two parts of his consciousness were fighting for two completely different goals, but he seemed to be calmer and most importantly, under control. 

Hearing Takashi's roar, the female titan seemed to change her way of moving and showed a defensive stance, blocking the dangerous attacks coming towards her.

The female titan steadied her lower body. On the other hand, Eren in his titan form had joined in and took special care to protect himself against Annie's kicks. 

Actually, Takashi discovered that the hardening takes a short period of time to form. Every time the female titan's hands and feet harden, Eren in her titan form began to retreat and dodge the attacks. If it is impossible to dodge the attacks, Eren in her titan form will sacrifice parts of her body covering vital areas.

Looking at the female titan that rolled on the ground it immediately got up, Eren in his titan form averted his gaze to Takashi and formed a half smile but it wasn't a smile.

The female titan on her side stood up and found herself away from the Sina wall again. Annie knew that Eren had attacked her with intelligence, so she thought carefully about her course of action. 

This Eren in his titan form did not rush to attack, he assumed a boxing stance, ready to continue defending himself.

Exhaling a long steam from his mouth, Eren now seemed to be using his head. Annie knew it too, Eren was very difficult to deal with if this one decides to fight smart.

Eren, in his titan form who lost his right leg, was left sitting in the ruins of the building but still wouldn't let go of the female titan's arm.

Annie had already lost her mind, stiffened her arms and started attacking Eren to get him to let go.

Seven or eight consecutive blows nearly crushed Eren's head! Only then did Eren loosen his grip. 

The female titan looked at Eren in her motionless titan form, stepped out of the rubble and ran with difficulty towards the Sina wall.
