'Damn it.' Sato cursed as he saw Lu Zhen's disintegrating body. There was a smile on his face as his body slowly withered.

Whether Lu Zhen knew this or not didn't matter as the explosion could also serve another purpose; that was to create a smoke-screen to inhibit the kobold's vision, buying the others more time to escape.
