Arriving in Raven Hill
The next day, no one spoke of what transpired the previous day. Everything just went on as normally as it had always gone. Yu jin's mom had long forgotten about her son's behaviour at the table. After all, this wasn't the first time Yu jin had brought out such a comment.
Within the blink of an eye, night had arrived, everyone else went into own house to take his or her evening rest.
Certain that no one was awake Yu jin rose to his feet, grabbed a few clothes in his little sack and started walking farther and farther away from the house. Arriving closer to the village's gate, Yu jin saw the figure of someone standing right ahead. Yu jin wondered who would be out at such an hour.
No one usually stood at that location at night, not that he knew of. For someone's mind who was already made up, he proceeded without any bit of fear in him. He had spent the whole day thinking, just to arrive at that decision.
Yu jin really loved his family but his dreams, goals and aspirations in life were also important as well. The person ahead didn't seem to have noticed his coming presence."Good" He said to himself. This would be the right time to get get past him without being noticed. "It's now or never" said Yu jin as he started moving right into the bushes to prevent himself from being seen.
"Yu jin, I know you're there" said the person standing ahead"Rose?" Asked Yu jin as he came out of hiding"What in heaven's name are you doing out here?" He asked"I could ask you the same question. After all of mom's scolding, you still won't give up."" You know me too well. However Rose, If you're going to stand in my way, then you'll regret it" Said Yu jin as he clutched his right hand tightly" Rose sighed and then brushed her hair with her palm."I admire your tenacity and courage but you know very well you have never beaten me in combat. Come on then, If you're not changing your mind then I'm coming with you" She added"What? Really?" exclaimed Yu jin in a very surprised manner. When he had finally calmed himself down, he looked Rose right up in the eyes wondering what she hoped to gain from all this."Tell me then, why do this?""Even though you're my older brother you're still naive so I'm coming with you. I can't allow anything happen to my handsome brother, can I?" She said with a menacing smile on her face."I'm gonna take that as a complement." said Yu jin
After they had both come to an agreement, they left the village to begin their adventure. Yu jin was overjoyed and yet sad to have left his mom."But tell me Rose, how did you know I would be leaving tonight.""Dad told me you might do something like this, so he said I should go with you and watch over you.""Does mom know?" "I don't know. But I'm sure dad would handle her." replied Rose.
Yu jin and his sister Rose continued their journey to the capital. Conquering every obstacle in their way, they drew closer to their destination. They could both see the capital with their naked eyes. Raven Hill was indeed a wonder. Every single structure in raven hill looked as if it was designed to host a king. They both stood still staring and staring until the point where eyes begun to become watery. "All this was built by people" How astonishing thought Yu jin. Even Rose who had no interest in coming was short of words.Arriving inside raven hill, Yu jin saw different kinds of people of different race and class who wore all kinds of beautifully designed clothes. Yu jin was dumbfounded. After seeing all this, he would definitely leave the village a million times over. Still admiring everything that laid before his eyes, Yu jin's attention drifted to another direction where he saw a different group of people dressed in knight uniform. Once again, he was amazed beyond measure. Never had he imagined something of this caliber beyond his wildest dreams. "It's settled. I'm going to become a knight like them" said Yu jin with excitement. Rose turned to see Yu jin staring deeply at the knights. "What did you say kid?" Said a civilian passing by "You're going become like them" He added and begun laughing beyond measure. the civilian further advertised the news he had just gained. "No way kid. Impossible, you look like someone from out in the boonies. You ain't got what it takes." "Shut up freak. Just wait and see, soon you're all going to roar out my name in the streets as the most powerful knight in history" Yu jin's declaration made him the laughing stock in the whole street. Rose grabbed his hand and slipped away through the crowd with Yu jin
