Infinite Immortal Cultivation

I, Yi Zhao reincarnated into the immortal world of the cultivation novel I was reading and found myself thrown into its brutal world headfirst. I was just a normal professional gamer on earth, someone who loved hacking games and breaking them repeatedly. One day, I was hacking one of the latest FPS games when a lightning bolt suddenly struck me. In my final moments, I couldn't help but wonder 'Did I hack on the wrong server and Aimbot god?' Alas, it was too late and darkness took over my eyes. I had many regrets as a virgin with dreams of becoming rich, but thinking of death as a comfortable rest, I let them go. I never expected however to awaken in a different world as a different person. With the system’s help, I’ll cultivate to immortality and beyond! …

1st Mission:[Take Back Your Things]

[All of these services are made to assist the host in having the smoothest cultivation journey possible!]

[A few choices need to be made by the host, so the system is perfected.] The panel said.

"Sure, ask away!" I was excited out of my mind, I was experiencing every young man's dream, a reincarnation with a cheat system!

[1st: Would you like a manual system or an AI system?]

A manual system would need my input and conscious choices whereas an AI system would be much easier. The AI system would also allow for more cheating, so the choice was obvious.

"Manual is too boring, give me an Ai!" I replied swiftly.

[2nd: Do you choose a male or female Ai?]

"Are you kidding me? Of course a female!" I once again answered quickly.

[3rd: What's your end goal?]

The 3rd question was less obvious than the others, naturally the end goal of cultivation would be immortality, right? But I felt like JUST immortality would be too boring. "Why set a limit?" I wondered.

"I want infinity!" I decided.

[Thank you for your cooperation host!]

[The system will reboot and your choices will take effect! A beginner's reward box will also be granted!]

[I wish you a smooth journey through cultivation!]

All of the first few panels were clear, but the last one was a bit strange.

[Please make sure to avoid the [Serpent].]

The panels then disappeared and a looping circle appeared with the word rebooting.

"That was an ominous last panel, to be honest, I hope I'm just seeing false flags," I sat down to rest while the system rebooted.

All was well until my body suddenly contracted in on itself and an unbearable pain spread out of my heart to the rest of my body.

"AGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" I screamed in pain and grasped for something to hold onto as my body fell to the ground.

For several minutes I was under the control of the pain and teetering on the edge of death. I recognized this as the effect of the [Nine Divine Calamities Physique] mentioned in my memories. Not only did this physique make it near impossible for me to cultivate but it also caused me to have random blood reversals that would cause me excruciating pain or could even kill me.

A BIT LATER

"Pheeew~ t-that was u-unbearable.." I sat back up, still shaking as the system panel reappeared.

The door suddenly opened and Yao-Yao walked in.

"I have to go to the market for some herbs, young master, please take care of yourself." She bowed and said.

"Don't worry about me, just be careful while you're out," I replied.

"Yes, young master!" she replied and left.

I looked back towards the system panel.

[Hello, master! I'm your new assistant, Eve!] A smooth female voice suddenly resounded from the panel.

"Nice to meet you, Eve, i'm, Yi Zhao, let's do a lot of cheating together!"

[Yes, sir! Do you want me to show you your current status? If so, just say Status.]

"Status."

A larger system panel suddenly appeared in front of me.

"The stats look embarrassing but overall the features look good, and I'm about to die!" I said as I analyzed the panel.

[Would you like to open the [Beginner Box], master?] Eve asked.

"Sure, I'm below rock bottom right now, I don't think we can afford to rent this tiny room any longer either," I replied.

[Opening….! (5) Items are inside!]

[Lifespan increased by 1 month!]

"Good, I feel much better now! use the [Skill Card] next,"

[I think you should wait until your Psyche stat is higher, master. Or the rewards won't be good,] Eve said.

"Trust me, my luck has always been heavenly!" I replied.

[yes, master.]

[Reward: 1 unique Qi-cultivation technique for the [Nine Divine Calamities Physique].]

"Now we're talking! Their base was at the market, right?" I thought as I left the small room.

I was dressed in cheap ragged gray robes, and my own new face was still unknown to me.

….

..

.

As I strolled through the village, a sense of familiarity washed over me. The scent of incense, mingled with the faint aroma of herbal medicines, greeted my senses, evoking memories of the old parts of markets on earth and the village familiar to Yi Zhao.

The buildings, constructed from sturdy wood and stone, reminded me of the ancient empires of earth. The cobblestone streets, worn smooth by years of foot traffic, guided my steps as I made my way past bustling markets, courtyards, and training grounds.

Everywhere I looked, practitioners of all ages engaged in rigorous training, their movements fluid and precise, a testament to the dedication that defined the immortal world's way of life. One had to master martial arts before he could embark on the path of cultivation. Even in a rural village in a rural kingdom where cultivators were rare, the concepts remained.

The streets teemed with swordsmen, their weapons shining at their waists, a testament to their skill and a reminder of the brutal nature of the world I was in. Among them, shady figures lurked in the shadows, their intentions veiled behind masks.

"Woah! Monsters?!"

Strange and mystical beasts padded along beside their masters, their presence adding an air of otherworldliness to the scene. From graceful tigers to mythical creatures of legend, each animal seemed to embody the essence of its master's martial prowess. I could barely take my eyes off of them.

The village pulsed with life and noise, yet the class system was very obvious. The poor and the weak were at the bottom, followed by the rich and weak, followed by the rich and strong.

Martial arts and in essence Cultivation were everything, money could raise your status slightly but that had its limits when any man could take your head.

Soon, I arrived at a stall in the back of the market, 4 rough looking scarred men were sitting around playing Fan-Tan.

'Thugs who know how to play Fan-Tan? Someone of a higher class must have taught them,' I surmised as I walked over.

"Oh? if it isn't the loser young master!" The largest and baldest of the men said. His name was Uncle Hang, or at least that's what he forced others to call him.

"I've come to take my things back, and have some fun!" I sat down on a crate boldly, I needed to bluff and look crazy to ensnare martial artists after all.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!! Did you hit your head, loser young master? You even want your things back?" Uncle Hang laughed loudly.

"I'll play you for all of my things, fair and square," I said.

"You want to face me in Fan-Tan? What do you even have to offer?" He asked.

"I have a hidden treasure given to me by my father, I buried it deep in the forest, so only I know where it is. If you defeat me, I'll give it to you," I said.

"Why don't I just beat you to the ground and make you give it to me?"

"I'll just die without saying a word." I looked him in the eyes and said with confidence.

"Good, you've grown some balls. Let's play then," He finally agreed and lowered his sword.
