Solving some troubles

Mark happily walked out of the library. For the first time since he had come to this time he was finally comfortable with the knowledge that he had.

He felt the fresh wind blowing his hair and gave a sigh of relief. His long borne sense of tension had finally started to relax as he knew some knowledge of his surroundings.

Mark returned happily to the dorm building, however he spotted a familiar figure crouching on the ground along the hall.

''Sam!'' Mark shouted as he walked down the hall.

Sam seemed shocked that Mark would notice him as his messy head slightly popped up then covered his face again. Unfortunately Mark's eyesight had long been strengthened by the increase in spiritual energy. So he managed to look at Sam's face, but what caught Mark's attention was the red and puffy corners of his eyes.

Obviously Sam had been crying and not for a short period of time either.

''Sam what happened to you?'' Mark still held a slight affection for the first person to help him in this world.

Sam already knew that he had been seen through, so he didn't even try to hide it anymore.

After Mark heard his story he was shocked, then that shock turned to anger.

After the week initiation for new students in which all facilities are provided for free, the new students will be required to gain credits to pay for access to places like the library.

Furthermore each room would receive a set allowance of 10 credits each week, just enough to cover the most basic staple foods such as rice and pasta.

However, according to Sam the credits are provided to the watch given to each student, as for whether the watch was with the original owner or not, the school didn't care.

Clearly they Looked at Sam's thin figure that looked as if it could be blown away in the breeze and deemed his room an easy target. While he was away a group of four men had blocked his room using force to make him hand over his watch which would receive the credits.

Sam naturally wouldn't give up the room easily, however there was nothing he could do against four bulky men. After a couple of minutes where Sam attempted a futile struggle, he was dragged out and thrown exactly where Mark had found him now.

Mark looked at Sam in front of him and barely hesitated before making his decision.

''Get up and lead me to your room.'' Mark felt he owed Sam at least this much. Also he felt it was barely an issue to deal with some ordinary people with his current strength.

The distance between the rooms wasn't far, Mark even doubted whether he would be the next target of guys had it not been for his muscular physique.

Mark quickly shook his head to get rid of the thoughts as he stood in front of the rusty mottled iron door.

Sam at this time had slightly hidden behind Mark seemingly traumatised by the experience.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

Mark slammed the base of his fist against the door, his physical strength causing it to shake violently.

''Who the hell is it?'' He heard a loud shout coming from the room and quickly stepped back as the heavy iron door swung backwards inches in front of his face.

Mark saw the man in front of him and immediately knew it was one of the men who had attacked Sam. The man was over 190 cm tall with a bodybuilder physique.

However Mark stood calmly in front of him despite the visual difference. That was mainly because he noticed one thing, the man in front of him hadn't cultivated any spiritual energy.

And while Mark knew that you could be strong without large amounts of spiritual energy, most body refining techniques had a minimum requirement of at least a small amount of spiritual energy.

Seeing Mark standing without replying, the Man started to get impatient.

He didn't speak anymore as he swung his heavy fist straight towards Mark's head. The wind seemed to twist around it but in Mark's view it was too slow.

Mark tilted his head slightly as the fist passed narrowly next to him, as if barely managing to avoid it.

However as the man retracted his arm and prepared to punch forward again he felt a strange piercing feeling in his stomach. The man didn't even have time to react before he flew backwards and slammed his back against the wall of the dorm, the force almost causing the things on the table to shake onto the floor.

Mark calmly retracted his fist ignoring Sam's stunned look. He didn't consider that man an opponent from the beginning, no matter how strong he was he hadn't yet surpassed ordinary peoples limits.

Mark walked up to the man's body and quickly checked his clothes before finding Sam's watch tucked into the man's clothes, at the same time he grabbed the man's watch off his wrist.

However Mark wasn't finished yet, he began fiddling with the man's buttons before finally removing his outer school wear leaving a man lying there in his underwear.

Mark did this for the sole reason of being able to provide another one of his clones with clothes, despite them being slightly too large.

Mark looked at Sam before returning his watch for him, ignoring the confused look on his face.

''Alright, if the other three guys come back just message me on your watch I'll head over'' Mark comforted Sam, at the very least he had to see this through.

After finishing what he had to say, Mark dragged the body of the man out of the room, down the long and dishevelled carpet on the floor of the hall until finally hauling him over the railings and down several flights of stairs.

This was naturally to prevent him from standing up when Mark was gone and getting revenge on Sam for what happened. If he had the option he would've killed the man to prevent future troubles, unfortunately the school allows fighting between students but forbids murder.

Nevertheless Mark patted the dust off his hands happily before walking back to his room.
