Chapter 136

She watched as he let out a sigh form his lips as he ran a hand through his hasir. "What do you mean. Because it was only meant to work on Tina." he said to her.

She shook her head at him in response before she went on to explain the situation to him further.

"well I wasn't able to get her to drink the vile so easily. I had a feeling that she wouldn't be so quick to trust me and so there was a. chance that she would ask us to switch our drinks. I couldn't risk her not tasking it at all and so I decided to put myself on the line by putting the vile in both of our drinks and so it wasn't just her that took it but I took it as well. I don't understand why it only affected her and why is it that it didn't end up affecting me." she asked him in confusion.

He let out a sigh from his lips as he shrugged his shoulders after a moment. The truth was that he wasn't sure about the answer at first. However he soon came to realize what had happened as he began to connect the dots as swell.

"that is because at the end it only works as well as I want it to work. it allowed you to still have control over yourself because I was able to direct its control so that it would be able to affect tina. That is why you didn't get to be affected by any of the onsets of the drug's effects and also that is why you ended up being perfectly fine and why nothing ended up happening to you as a result of that.

" he explained to her.

She hummed as she felt herself begin to realize what he meant. Well she was grateful for the fact that he hadn't used the effects on her. she didn't want to have to experience the same thing that tina had experienced and she didn't want to have to have embarrassed herself in front of everyone. For a fact she didn't know how she would have gone about having too explain thew situation to everyone as she knew that it wouldn't end well and there would be very few of the people who would be able to understand that she wasn't doing it out of her own free will.

She would have hated having to reveal the truth as well but she guessed that Dick had thought about that.

Because of the vile had caused her to reveal the truth then it would most likely expose the fact that dick was still out there and that he was very well and alive. also it would have exposed the fact that tina had been under the effects of thew vile and that she wasn't doing those things out of her own accord.

That wouldn't have ended well and they wouldn't have wanted something like that to happen and so because of that it was a good choice that they had chosen not to act on it and do anything about the matter.

With that the two of them parted ways with that and he knew that Ms. Mary would be leaving. He wasn't going to force her to stay anymore and he wasn't going to blame her for the choices that she had made.

He however now was thinking about how he would be able to take down tina.

She was one of his biggest problems lant the moment and he had to make sure that he got rid of her.

His original plan hadn't worked because he had been too reliant on the justice system and he had thought that they would have been enough and they would have allowed for things to work out in his favor.

He thought that he could trust them in order to ensure that the truth prevailed at the end. However he was wrong and he should have known that things wouldn't have worked out that way.

Now he had to find out another way for him to be able to get what he wanted.

One that wouldn't result in any other innocents getting hurt.

The difference between him and tina was the fact that he wasn't going to risk the lives of others in order for him to save himself. He had to think about the fact there were innocents that he was risking in order for him to get what he wanted. However when it came to her she didn't care about that and for them none of that really mattered.

That was why she seemed to always have the upper hand because she didn't care what was at risk and she would have been willing to put everyone and anyone on the line in order for her to be able to get what she wanted.

He had to think of another way. He didn't want to have to stoop down to her level and he knew that all that would be doing was proving her right. That the only way to get things done would be if you were to break the rules.

However he knew that whatever he was going to do he wouldn't be able to do it at that very moment because of the fact that he knew thar the men of Guderian were still out there.

He knew that the men were still watching and that they were still keeping their eyes out to see if there was anything that wasn't quite right which was going on.

They would especially have their eyes out on tina and he knew that Guderian would be sure to leave special orders to make sure that his daughter was protected. No matter what.

He couldn't go after her now and even if he did have. Aplan to stop her and her father he couldn't be able to implement it at the moment because it would mean that he would get caught.

They wouldn't let him off so easily and with the way things were going he wouldn't come within the same vicinity of her without them knowing that there was something off and they would have caught him long before he was able to get anywhere near her.

He had to think it through. Everything had to be thought through properly and he knew that he couldn't simply rush into things and he would have to go over it carefully.

He had to be careful about everything and he knew that they would be expecting for him to do something but he couldn't do that.

He had to be better than her and this would surely be his final plan that would put her in her place. He couldn't risk her getting away with it anymore she had managed to pull the wool overt others eyes for far too long and he couldn't risk her doing it anymore.

He felt almost responsible for having her still being frere for so long. He wanted to ensure that he didn't make the same mistake again and that he was able to take her down once and for all.
