Chapter twenty five

Miran took a prolonged look at the young man dressed in a police uniform that stood before his desk. He noticed the man’s remarkably long lashes and big light brown eyes, he felt immediately irritated by his presence.

“What?” Miran blurted out at the young man.

“Good morning sir, you’re supposed to supervise me to work with you today. I’m a trainee.”

“And who said that?”

“The inspector, sir. I think he sent you an email -”

Miran shot him another look before letting out a heavy sigh, he wanted that man out of his sight and working with him would be mentally exhausting.

The young trainee sensed Miran’s frustration with having to work with him, “I assure you to be helpful, I won’t be a burden.”

“I didn’t ask for you to speak. What’s your name?”

“Bruno. My apologies, sir.”

“You’ve got a lot to learn, don’t speak to me unless I speak to you. That’s how you treat your superiors around here.” Miran told him with a stern voice.
